Nakon petogodišnjeg postupka na zagrebačkom Županijskom sudu sutra bi trebala biti donesena nepravomoćna presuda bivšem saborskom zastupniku i umirovljenom generalu Ljubi Ćesiću Rojsu, optuženom za zlouporabe kojima je
Ministartsvo obrane oštećeno za više od pet miljuna kuna.

Tužiteljstvo Ćesića tereti da je prije deset godina kao pomoćnik ministra obrane i načelnik Sektora za gospodarenje otpisao tri milijuna kuna duga nogometnom klubu "Hrvatski dragovoljac".

Optužen je i da je bez ovlasti zapovjedio izdavanje cigareta, plastičnih čaša i druge potrošne robe vrijedne 2,3 milijuna kuna 66. pukovniji koja, prema tvrdnjama tužiteljstva, nije bila u sastavu hrvatskih Oružanih snaga i Ministarstva obrane.

Od veljače 2004. postupak je vodilo drugo sudsko vijeće, a na optuženičkoj klupi tada je sjedio i čelnik "Hrvatskog dragovoljca" Stjepan Spajić, optužen da je Rojsa poticao na kaznena djela. No, Spajić je umro, pa je suđenje prekinuto u završnoj fazi te je nakon više od dvije godine krenulo ispočetka.

Na oba suđenja svjedočili su bivši ministri obrane Andrija Hebrang, Pavao Miljavac i Jozo Radoš te bivši premijer Zlatko Mateša.

Ćesić Rojs je od početka poricao da je počinio kaznena djela i tvrdio da je suđenje podcjenjivanje hrvatskih boraca, odnosno jedinice za koju tvrdi da je trebala biti okosnica inžinjerije Hrvatske vojske.

I u svojoj je obrani danas ponovio da je 66. pukovnija na poziv predsjednika Franje Tuđmana 1992. iz Hercegovine premještena u Hrvatsku, gdje je gradila ceste i druge objekte koji im nikada nisu plaćene.

Zbog toga je na zagrebačkom Općinskom građanskom sudu pokrenuo spor protiv države tražeći obeštećenje za svih 2.312 pripadnika bivše 66. pukovnije, čiji status još uvijek nije riješen.

Nakon petogodišnjeg postupka na zagrebačkom Županijskom sudu sutra bi trebala biti donesena nepravomoćna presuda bivšem saborskom zastupniku i umirovljenom generalu Ljubi Ćesiću Rojsu, optuženom za zlouporabe kojima je
Ministartsvo obrane oštećeno za više od pet miljuna kuna.

Tužiteljstvo Ćesića tereti da je prije deset godina kao pomoćnik ministra obrane i načelnik Sektora za gospodarenje otpisao tri milijuna kuna duga nogometnom klubu "Hrvatski dragovoljac".

Optužen je i da je bez ovlasti zapovjedio izdavanje cigareta, plastičnih čaša i druge potrošne robe vrijedne 2,3 milijuna kuna 66. pukovniji koja, prema tvrdnjama tužiteljstva, nije bila u sastavu hrvatskih Oružanih snaga i Ministarstva obrane.

Od veljače 2004. postupak je vodilo drugo sudsko vijeće, a na optuženičkoj klupi tada je sjedio i čelnik "Hrvatskog dragovoljca" Stjepan Spajić, optužen da je Rojsa poticao na kaznena djela. No, Spajić je umro, pa je suđenje prekinuto u završnoj fazi te je nakon više od dvije godine krenulo ispočetka.

Na oba suđenja svjedočili su bivši ministri obrane Andrija Hebrang, Pavao Miljavac i Jozo Radoš te bivši premijer Zlatko Mateša.

Ćesić Rojs je od početka poricao da je počinio kaznena djela i tvrdio da je suđenje podcjenjivanje hrvatskih boraca, odnosno jedinice za koju tvrdi da je trebala biti okosnica inžinjerije Hrvatske vojske.

I u svojoj je obrani danas ponovio da je 66. pukovnija na poziv predsjednika Franje Tuđmana 1992. iz Hercegovine premještena u Hrvatsku, gdje je gradila ceste i druge objekte koji im nikada nisu plaćene.

Zbog toga je na zagrebačkom Općinskom građanskom sudu pokrenuo spor protiv države tražeći obeštećenje za svih 2.312 pripadnika bivše 66. pukovnije, čiji status još uvijek nije riješen.
