U splitskom KBC-u nedjelju je od gripe preminula još jedna djevojčica, stara tek četiri mjeseca, koja je tako postala 12. žrtva gripe u Hrvatskoj, a obdukcijom će se tek utvrditi je li i druga djevojčica koja je istog dana preminula u splitskoj bolnici također podlegla kobnom virusu, što bi je učinilo već 13. žrtvom ove sezone.

Vladimir Draženović, voditelj Nacionalnog centra za gripu pri Hrvatskom zavodu za javno zdravstvo pojasnio je za tportal zašto je ova sezona gripe mnogo intezivnija od dosadašnjih, bliži li se epidemija uskoro kraju te zašto nas dogodine očekuje još veća opasnost.
Draženović tako navodi tri faktora zbog kojih je ova sezona gripe mnogo intenzivnija no ranije.
Prvi nema veze s gripom, a riječ je o ledenom valu što je dodatno ugrozio populaciju koja obolijeva od kardiovaskularnih bolesti jer hladnoća dovodi do sužavanja krvnih žila. Tu pada u vodu zabluda da hladnoća ne pogoduje širenju virusnih bolesti.
'Možda bakterijama hladnoća ne paše, no virusima da. Pa mi ih čuvamo na -70 stupnjeva', naglašava.
Drugi razlog zbog kojeg je ova sezona gora od prethodnih činjenica je da se usred sezone pojavio novi soj virusa H3N2, nazvan H3 Bolzano, dok je sezona počela sojem H3 Hong Kong.
'On se sada pokazuje kao najintenzivniji još od pandemijskog virusa 2009. godine. I on oslabljuje naš drugi važan sustav, a to je onaj respiratorni', pojašnjava Draženović za tportal.
Ipak, Draženović ima i dobre vijesti. Blage su naznake da je sezona pri kraju, a uz to se najavljuje zatopljenje.
'Ovo neka nam bude pouka jer sljedeća sezona bi mogla biti intenzivnija s ovim sojem gripe. Ljudi se moraju bolje zaštititi', zaključuje Draženović.

U splitskom KBC-u nedjelju je od gripe preminula još jedna djevojčica, stara tek četiri mjeseca, koja je tako postala 12. žrtva gripe u Hrvatskoj, a obdukcijom će se tek utvrditi je li i druga djevojčica koja je istog dana preminula u splitskoj bolnici također podlegla kobnom virusu, što bi je učinilo već 13. žrtvom ove sezone.

Vladimir Draženović, voditelj Nacionalnog centra za gripu pri Hrvatskom zavodu za javno zdravstvo pojasnio je za tportal zašto je ova sezona gripe mnogo intezivnija od dosadašnjih, bliži li se epidemija uskoro kraju te zašto nas dogodine očekuje još veća opasnost.
Draženović tako navodi tri faktora zbog kojih je ova sezona gripe mnogo intenzivnija no ranije.
Prvi nema veze s gripom, a riječ je o ledenom valu što je dodatno ugrozio populaciju koja obolijeva od kardiovaskularnih bolesti jer hladnoća dovodi do sužavanja krvnih žila. Tu pada u vodu zabluda da hladnoća ne pogoduje širenju virusnih bolesti.
'Možda bakterijama hladnoća ne paše, no virusima da. Pa mi ih čuvamo na -70 stupnjeva', naglašava.
Drugi razlog zbog kojeg je ova sezona gora od prethodnih činjenica je da se usred sezone pojavio novi soj virusa H3N2, nazvan H3 Bolzano, dok je sezona počela sojem H3 Hong Kong.
'On se sada pokazuje kao najintenzivniji još od pandemijskog virusa 2009. godine. I on oslabljuje naš drugi važan sustav, a to je onaj respiratorni', pojašnjava Draženović za tportal.
Ipak, Draženović ima i dobre vijesti. Blage su naznake da je sezona pri kraju, a uz to se najavljuje zatopljenje.
'Ovo neka nam bude pouka jer sljedeća sezona bi mogla biti intenzivnija s ovim sojem gripe. Ljudi se moraju bolje zaštititi', zaključuje Draženović.
