"Hrvatski slučaj za mene je riješen jer je hrvatski parlament izglasao zakon, a što mi je hrvatska vlada obećala da će učiniti", izjavila je povjerenica Reding po dolasku na sastanak ministara pravosuđa zemalja članica EU-a, koji su se u ponedjeljak okupili na redovitom sastanku u Luxembourgu.

Na pitanje kada će Komisija zaustaviti postupak koji je pokrenula prije nego što je Hrvatska promijenila zakon, Reding je odgovorila da će to učiniti čim zakon stupi na snagu.

Komisija je prije dva tjedna počela konzultacije sa zemljama članicama o aktiviranju zaštitnih mjera predviđenih člankom 39. hrvatskoga pristupnog ugovora zato što hrvatski zakon o uhidbenom nalogu nije bio u skladu s europskom pravnom stečevinom. Zemlje članice imale su deset radnih dana da se o tome očituju.

Reding je dodala da je od zemalja članica, koje u ovom slučaju daju samo mišljenje i koje za Komisiju nije obvezujuće, dobila puno odgovora. "Zemlja članice daju samo mišljenje, a na Komisiji je da djeluje i ona nastavlja djelovati što je već pokazalo rezultate", rekla je Reding.

Hrvatski sabor je u petak s 83 glasa za, 28 protiv i osam suzdržanih, na prijedlog vlade izmijenio Zakon o pravosudnoj suradnji u kaznenim stvarima s EU-om, tzv. 'lex Perković'. Tim je izmjenama izbrisano ograničenje primjene europskog uhidbenog naloga na kaznena djela počinjena nakon 7. kolovoza 2002. Izmijenjeni zakon počet će se primjenjivat od 1. siječnja 2014.

Zakon je prvotno izmijenjen u lipnju, tri dana prije nego što je Hrvatska postala punopravnom članicom EU-a.

{OCMSplitter} Potpredsjednica Europske komisije Viviane Reding izjavila je u ponedjeljak u Luxembourgu da je za nju slučaj s europskim uhidbenim nalogom riješen, nakon što je Hrvatski sabor izglasao promjene spornog zakona koji nije bio usklađen s europskom pravnom stečevinom.

"Hrvatski slučaj za mene je riješen jer je hrvatski parlament izglasao zakon, a što mi je hrvatska vlada obećala da će učiniti", izjavila je povjerenica Reding po dolasku na sastanak ministara pravosuđa zemalja članica EU-a, koji su se u ponedjeljak okupili na redovitom sastanku u Luxembourgu.

Na pitanje kada će Komisija zaustaviti postupak koji je pokrenula prije nego što je Hrvatska promijenila zakon, Reding je odgovorila da će to učiniti čim zakon stupi na snagu.

Komisija je prije dva tjedna počela konzultacije sa zemljama članicama o aktiviranju zaštitnih mjera predviđenih člankom 39. hrvatskoga pristupnog ugovora zato što hrvatski zakon o uhidbenom nalogu nije bio u skladu s europskom pravnom stečevinom. Zemlje članice imale su deset radnih dana da se o tome očituju.

Reding je dodala da je od zemalja članica, koje u ovom slučaju daju samo mišljenje i koje za Komisiju nije obvezujuće, dobila puno odgovora. "Zemlja članice daju samo mišljenje, a na Komisiji je da djeluje i ona nastavlja djelovati što je već pokazalo rezultate", rekla je Reding.

Hrvatski sabor je u petak s 83 glasa za, 28 protiv i osam suzdržanih, na prijedlog vlade izmijenio Zakon o pravosudnoj suradnji u kaznenim stvarima s EU-om, tzv. 'lex Perković'. Tim je izmjenama izbrisano ograničenje primjene europskog uhidbenog naloga na kaznena djela počinjena nakon 7. kolovoza 2002. Izmijenjeni zakon počet će se primjenjivat od 1. siječnja 2014.

Zakon je prvotno izmijenjen u lipnju, tri dana prije nego što je Hrvatska postala punopravnom članicom EU-a.
