Iza medicinskih timova Objedinjenog hitnog bolničkog prijema Kliničkog bolničkog centra Rijeka jedna je od najtežih ljetnih sezona, kad je riječ po broju obrađenih pacijenata.

U odnosu na neke ranije turističke sezone, broj pacijenata se gotovo udvostručio, pa je tako dnevno na sušačkom lokalitetu Odjela hitne medicine ovog ljeta u prosjeku obrađeno više od 200 pacijenata tijekom 24 sata, a na riječkom lokalitetu više od stotinu.

– Mogu reći da je ovo najteže ljeto za naš odjel, barem otkako sam ja na čelu Objedinjenog hitnog bolničkog prijema, a to je već sedam godina.

Ipak, nikad nismo dobili više pohvala pacijenata pa smo tako i jučer dobili pisanu pohvalu pacijentice koja se ovdje liječila, koja je inače iz Zagreba i koja nas je pohvalila preko Ureda gradonačelnika Grada Rijeke, govori dr. Martina Pavletić, pročelnica Objedinjenog hitnog bolničkog prijema riječke bolnice.

Na Objedinjenom hitnom bolničkom prijemu trenutačno radi 18 specijalista hitne medicine i troje specijalizanata, no sveukupno radi oko 50 liječnika, počevši od tek diplomiranih liječnika, tzv. sekundaraca koji nakon diplome na medicini umjesto nekadašnjeg staža biraju edukaciju u hitnom prijemu, preko specijalizanata i ostalih liječnika koji surađuju u radu OHBP-a.

Kadra, kako kaže Pavletić, uvijek nedostaje, posebice i iz razloga jer je specijalizacija hitne medicine, unatoč širokom znanju koje pruža, mlada, još uvijek nedovoljno poznata i vrlo zahtjevna, a tu je i kroničan nedostatak medicinskih sestara koji nije zaobišao ni hitni bolnički prijem.

Porast intoksikacija zbog kokaina

Na riječkom lokalitetu obrađuju se i intoksikacije, a Otočan kaže da se zadnjih godina bilježi osobit porast intoksikacija uslijed korištenja opojnih sredstva, posebice kokaina.

– Posljednjih godina bilježimo porast, posebice kod mladih ljudi, vikend- uživatelja droge, koji nisu registrirani ovisnici. Puno je posljedica kokaina, i to ne samo od konzumacija i predoziranja, već i zbog apstinencijskih kriza.

Pacijenti nam se najčešće javljaju jer im nije dobro, s vrlo nespecifičnim simptomima za koje ne bismo znali koji je uzrok da ne radimo test na droge, upozorava Otočan.

Manjak sestara

– Pritom je naše radilište toliko kompleksno da osjećamo nedostatak medicinskih sestra više nego drugi odjeli na kojima također vlada nedostatak sestrinskog kadra, dodaje Pavletić.

Ljeto i turističku sezonu na Objedinjenom hitnom bolničkom prijemu odradili su specijalisti hitne medicine dr. Nataša Mavrinac, dr. Marinka Otočan i dr. Mate Lerga.

Iza medicinskih timova Objedinjenog hitnog bolničkog prijema Kliničkog bolničkog centra Rijeka jedna je od najtežih ljetnih sezona, kad je riječ po broju obrađenih pacijenata.

U odnosu na neke ranije turističke sezone, broj pacijenata se gotovo udvostručio, pa je tako dnevno na sušačkom lokalitetu Odjela hitne medicine ovog ljeta u prosjeku obrađeno više od 200 pacijenata tijekom 24 sata, a na riječkom lokalitetu više od stotinu.

– Mogu reći da je ovo najteže ljeto za naš odjel, barem otkako sam ja na čelu Objedinjenog hitnog bolničkog prijema, a to je već sedam godina.

Ipak, nikad nismo dobili više pohvala pacijenata pa smo tako i jučer dobili pisanu pohvalu pacijentice koja se ovdje liječila, koja je inače iz Zagreba i koja nas je pohvalila preko Ureda gradonačelnika Grada Rijeke, govori dr. Martina Pavletić, pročelnica Objedinjenog hitnog bolničkog prijema riječke bolnice.

Na Objedinjenom hitnom bolničkom prijemu trenutačno radi 18 specijalista hitne medicine i troje specijalizanata, no sveukupno radi oko 50 liječnika, počevši od tek diplomiranih liječnika, tzv. sekundaraca koji nakon diplome na medicini umjesto nekadašnjeg staža biraju edukaciju u hitnom prijemu, preko specijalizanata i ostalih liječnika koji surađuju u radu OHBP-a.

Kadra, kako kaže Pavletić, uvijek nedostaje, posebice i iz razloga jer je specijalizacija hitne medicine, unatoč širokom znanju koje pruža, mlada, još uvijek nedovoljno poznata i vrlo zahtjevna, a tu je i kroničan nedostatak medicinskih sestara koji nije zaobišao ni hitni bolnički prijem.

Porast intoksikacija zbog kokaina

Na riječkom lokalitetu obrađuju se i intoksikacije, a Otočan kaže da se zadnjih godina bilježi osobit porast intoksikacija uslijed korištenja opojnih sredstva, posebice kokaina.

– Posljednjih godina bilježimo porast, posebice kod mladih ljudi, vikend- uživatelja droge, koji nisu registrirani ovisnici. Puno je posljedica kokaina, i to ne samo od konzumacija i predoziranja, već i zbog apstinencijskih kriza.

Pacijenti nam se najčešće javljaju jer im nije dobro, s vrlo nespecifičnim simptomima za koje ne bismo znali koji je uzrok da ne radimo test na droge, upozorava Otočan.

Manjak sestara

– Pritom je naše radilište toliko kompleksno da osjećamo nedostatak medicinskih sestra više nego drugi odjeli na kojima također vlada nedostatak sestrinskog kadra, dodaje Pavletić.

Ljeto i turističku sezonu na Objedinjenom hitnom bolničkom prijemu odradili su specijalisti hitne medicine dr. Nataša Mavrinac, dr. Marinka Otočan i dr. Mate Lerga.

Iza medicinskih timova Objedinjenog hitnog bolničkog prijema Kliničkog bolničkog centra Rijeka jedna je od najtežih ljetnih sezona, kad je riječ po broju obrađenih pacijenata.

U odnosu na neke ranije turističke sezone, broj pacijenata se gotovo udvostručio, pa je tako dnevno na sušačkom lokalitetu Odjela hitne medicine ovog ljeta u prosjeku obrađeno više od 200 pacijenata tijekom 24 sata, a na riječkom lokalitetu više od stotinu.

– Mogu reći da je ovo najteže ljeto za naš odjel, barem otkako sam ja na čelu Objedinjenog hitnog bolničkog prijema, a to je već sedam godina.

Ipak, nikad nismo dobili više pohvala pacijenata pa smo tako i jučer dobili pisanu pohvalu pacijentice koja se ovdje liječila, koja je inače iz Zagreba i koja nas je pohvalila preko Ureda gradonačelnik...
