Ni dan nakon velike tragedije nisu poznati detalji stradavanja dvoje pirotehničara na predjelu Vrlet-Skokovi kraj ličkog sela Čanak, na rubnom dijelu općina Plitvička Jezera i Perušić, piše Jutarnji.

Policijski očevid ipak nije počeo u petak u jutarnjim satima, kako se očekivalo, nego su na mjesto nesreće izašli stručnjaci Hrvatskog centra za razminiranje kako bi se još jednom provjerila sigurnost terena za provođenje očevida i daljnje istrage, rekla nam je glasnogovornica PU ličko-senjske Maja Brozičević, a na mjestu događaja potvrdio Roland Štimac, nadzornik za kontrolu kvalitete razminiranja na tom projektu iz Ravnateljstva civilne zaštite.

Nije mogao niti smio ulaziti u okolnosti koje su prethodile tragediji, ali nam je otkrio nevjerojatan podatak - mina (ili mine) koja je usmrtila dvoje pirotehničara zapravo je prva na koju su pirotehničari fizički naišli na terenu koji su dosad razminirali. Samo jedna uopće je pronađena na tom području, no nju je detektirao i aktivirao stroj. Radilo se o protupješačkoj mini PROM.

- Projekt je veličine 842.777 četvornih metara, a s jučerašnjim danom je razminirano 695.297 četvornih metara. Nositelj radova na tom terenu je tvrtka Zeleni kvadrat, a podizvođači su Detektor, Cor, Magnus, Tetrazen i Zigo. Radovi su počeli 16. studenoga prošle godine. Dosad je pronađena jedna mina PROM tijekom strojne obrade te površine, koju je stroj i aktivirao. Odrađeno je 46 radnih dana i preostalo ih je odraditi još 10 do 15. Radovi su u mirovanju do ponedjeljka zbog psihološkog stanja djelatnika kojih je na terenu bilo angažirano između 55 i 60 - rekao nam je nadzornik Roland Štimac.

On bi danas, po prirodi svoga posla, kontrolirao teren na kojem se dogodila eksplozija, ali tragedija je prekinula rutinu na ovom radilištu.

Ovo nije prvi takav incident na području Like. Prije tri mjeseca dogodio se sličan incident na području Perušića, ali, srećom, nitko nije poginuo. Tijekom razminiranja eksplodirala je protupješačka mina i pirotehničar je zadobio ozljede nogu i torza.

Ličko-senjska županija najzagađenija je minama, a prema postojećem planu trebala je biti očišćena do 2026. godine.

Od završetka Domovinskog rata do danas od mina je na području Like poginulo više od dvadeset osoba, od kojih šest pirotehničara. Crna statistika kaže da je u cijeloj Hrvatskoj od 1996. godine do danas od mina stradalo 606 osoba, od kojih 204 smrtno, a među njima i 38 pirotehničara.

Ni dan nakon velike tragedije nisu poznati detalji stradavanja dvoje pirotehničara na predjelu Vrlet-Skokovi kraj ličkog sela Čanak, na rubnom dijelu općina Plitvička Jezera i Perušić, piše Jutarnji.

Policijski očevid ipak nije počeo u petak u jutarnjim satima, kako se očekivalo, nego su na mjesto nesreće izašli stručnjaci Hrvatskog centra za razminiranje kako bi se još jednom provjerila sigurnost terena za provođenje očevida i daljnje istrage, rekla nam je glasnogovornica PU ličko-senjske Maja Brozičević, a na mjestu događaja potvrdio Roland Štimac, nadzornik za kontrolu kvalitete razminiranja na tom projektu iz Ravnateljstva civilne zaštite.

Nije mogao niti smio ulaziti u okolnosti koje su prethodile tragediji, ali nam je otkrio nevjerojatan podatak - mina (ili mine) koja je usmrtila dvoje pirotehničara zapravo je prva na koju su pirotehničari fizički naišli na terenu koji su dosad razminirali. Samo jedna uopće je pronađena na tom području, no nju je detektirao i aktivirao stroj. Radilo se o protupješačkoj mini PROM.

- Projekt je veličine 842.777 četvornih metara, a s jučerašnjim danom je razminirano 695.297 četvornih metara. Nositelj radova na tom terenu je tvrtka Zeleni kvadrat, a podizvođači su Detektor, Cor, Magnus, Tetrazen i Zigo. Radovi su počeli 16. studenoga prošle godine. Dosad je pronađena jedna mina PROM tijekom strojne obrade te površine, koju je stroj i aktivirao. Odrađeno je 46 radnih dana i preostalo ih je odraditi još 10 do 15. Radovi su u mirovanju do ponedjeljka zbog psihološkog stanja djelatnika kojih je na terenu bilo angažirano između 55 i 60 - rekao nam je nadzornik Roland Štimac.

On bi danas, po prirodi svoga posla, kontrolirao teren na kojem se dogodila eksplozija, ali tragedija je prekinula rutinu na ovom radilištu.

Ovo nije prvi takav incident na području Like. Prije tri mjeseca dogodio se sličan incident na području Perušića, ali, srećom, nitko nije poginuo. Tijekom razminiranja eksplodirala je protupješačka mina i pirotehničar je zadobio ozljede nogu i torza.

Ličko-senjska županija najzagađenija je minama, a prema postojećem planu trebala je biti očišćena do 2026. godine.

Od završetka Domovinskog rata do danas od mina je na području Like poginulo više od dvadeset osoba, od kojih šest pirotehničara. Crna statistika kaže da je u cijeloj Hrvatskoj od 1996. godine do danas od mina stradalo 606 osoba, od kojih 204 smrtno, a među njima i 38 pirotehničara.
