Đakovačko-osječki nadbiskup Đuro Hranić rekao je u ponedjeljak da je bolno što nositelji najviših državnih vlasti zaboravljaju ulogu koji imaju te da bi morali biti svjesni službe koju obnašaju i imati neke kontrolne mehanizme, a ne dopuštati si svađe koje negativno djeluju na cijelo društvo.

Mons. Đuro Hranić na tradicionalnom susretu s novinarima slavonskih redakcija u Nadbiskupskom dvoru, odgovarajući na upit kako komentira aktualne podjele u društvu, rekao  da je bolna činjenica što nositelji najviših državnih vlasti zaboravljaju na ulogu i na izravni i neizravni utjecaj koji imaju na život čitavog društva.

"Morali bi biti svjesni službe koju obnašaju i imati neke kontrolne mehanizme i ne dopuštati si ovakve javne svađe koje višestruko, jako negativno djeluju na život čitavog društva, a to mi je bolno, žalosno", rekao je nadbiskup i ocijenio kako to indirektno vodi prema nekakvoj toleranciji govora mržnje, nasilja na nižim razinama u društvu. 

"Vjerujem da će duh Božji dotaknuti srca onih koji si to dopuštaju. Vjerujem da će i progledati da se tako ne obnaša vlast u jednom društvu i da nisam bolji, nisam pametniji, sposobniji ako znam zaoštriti jezik i još energičnije vratiti nazad, nego ako znam prešutjeti, u javnosti tražiti puteve dijaloga s drugom osobom, da porazgovaramo kao ljudi i međusobno surađujemo na dobrobit naroda",  rekao je mons. Hranić.

U vezi s konzumerizmom u slavljenju Božića te uputama Europske komisije da se izbaci riječ Božić i rabe riječi poput „blagdana“, nadbiskup je odgovorio da se od početka dijete Isus moralo skrivati.

"Herod ga progoni i želi ga ubiti. Rekao bih da se to na ovaj ili onaj način ponavlja kroz čitavu povijest, do toga – što je meni nezamislivo – da u Europskoj komisiji dobiju diskretnu uputu da ne koriste riječ Božić, nego ‘blagdan’ ili neku drugu prikladnu riječ", istaknuo je nadbiskup Hranić.

Također je rekao da je na Trgu u Đakovu župa složila jaslice, da su ondje svijeće koje se pale, "šatre gdje se nešto malo prodaje, jede, pije itd., ali, nažalost, sve je svedeno na to".

"Zašto? Pa zato što je to lakše, jednostavnije, komotnije, uopće nije zahtjevno, opuštajuće je, a Božić nas angažira, govori da se Bog združio s čovjekom i da ne možemo dalje ići kroz život a da iza lica svakog čovjeka ne otkrivamo Božje lice", rekao je.
Zamoljen da kaže što očekuje od popisa stanovništva 2021.. nadbiskup Hranić je rekao kako se očekuje manje stanovnika, a time i manje vjernika u nadbiskupiji.

"Demografi sada više ne govore o demografskoj depopulaciji, nego o demografskom slomu jer se rađa malo djece, više je umiranja od rađanja. Imali smo i odljev mladog stanovništva, koji je sada nešto usporen, no ne i potpuno zaustavljen", rekao je i dodao da su vidljivi neki stidljivi pomaci. Također je rekao da se iz hrvatske emigracije, koje je velika, vraćaju umirovljenici, a mladi ne rađaju ovdje, nego dolaze eventualno krstiti dijete i opet odlaze.

U božićnoj pastirskoj poruci i čestitki nadbiskup Hranić među ostalim je istaknuo da se bolna stvarnost koju proživljavamo, povezana s pandemijom covida-19, događa iza zatvorenih vrata, u izolaciji naših domova, a ponajviše u bolnicama, daleko od naših očiju. "Tek nas svakodnevne brojke i grafikoni podsjete na našu ranjivost, nepostojanost i smrtnost, a učestali oproštaji od bliskih nam osoba i poznanika služe nam kao opomena, kao izazov na produbljenje vjere u utjelovljenoga i raspetog Isusa Krista te kao kršćansku vjerodostojnost i suodgovornost za društvenu stvarnost u kojoj živimo", stoji u poruci nadbiskupa Hranića.

Đakovačko-osječki nadbiskup Đuro Hranić rekao je u ponedjeljak da je bolno što nositelji najviših državnih vlasti zaboravljaju ulogu koji imaju te da bi morali biti svjesni službe koju obnašaju i imati neke kontrolne mehanizme, a ne dopuštati si svađe koje negativno djeluju na cijelo društvo.

Mons. Đuro Hranić na tradicionalnom susretu s novinarima slavonskih redakcija u Nadbiskupskom dvoru, odgovarajući na upit kako komentira aktualne podjele u društvu, rekao  da je bolna činjenica što nositelji najviših državnih vlasti zaboravljaju na ulogu i na izravni i neizravni utjecaj koji imaju na život čitavog društva.

"Morali bi biti svjesni službe koju obnašaju i imati neke kontrolne mehanizme i ne dopuštati si ovakve javne svađe koje višestruko, jako negativno djeluju na život čitavog društva, a to mi je bolno, žalosno", rekao je nadbiskup i ocijenio kako to indirektno vodi prema nekakvoj toleranciji govora mržnje, nasilja na nižim razinama u društvu. 

"Vjerujem da će duh Božji dotaknuti srca onih koji si to dopuštaju. Vjerujem da će i progledati da se tako ne obnaša vlast u jednom društvu i da nisam bolji, nisam pametniji, sposobniji ako znam zaoštriti jezik i još energičnije vratiti nazad, nego ako znam prešutjeti, u javnosti tražiti puteve dijaloga s drugom osobom, da porazgovaramo kao ljudi i međusobno surađujemo na dobrobit naroda",  rekao je mons. Hranić.

U vezi s konzumerizmom u slavljenju Božića te uputama Europske komisije da se izbaci riječ Božić i rabe riječi poput „blagdana“, nadbiskup je odgovorio da se od početka dijete Isus moralo skrivati.

"Herod ga progoni i želi ga ubiti. Rekao bih da se to na ovaj ili onaj način ponavlja kroz čitavu povijest, do toga – što je meni nezamislivo – da u Europskoj komisiji dobiju diskretnu uputu da ne koriste riječ Božić, nego ‘blagdan’ ili neku drugu prikladnu riječ", istaknuo je nadbiskup Hranić.

Također je rekao da je na Trgu u Đakovu župa složila jaslice, da su ondje svijeće koje se pale, "šatre gdje se nešto malo prodaje, jede, pije itd., ali, nažalost, sve je svedeno na to".

"Zašto? Pa zato što je to lakše, jednostavnije, komotnije, uopće nije zahtjevno, opuštajuće je, a Božić nas angažira, govori da se Bog združio s čovjekom i da ne možemo dalje ići kroz život a da iza lica svakog čovjeka ne otkrivamo Božje lice", rekao je.
Zamoljen da kaže što očekuje od popisa stanovništva 2021.. nadbiskup Hranić je rekao kako se očekuje manje stanovnika, a time i manje vjernika u nadbiskupiji.

"Demografi sada više ne govore o demografskoj depopulaciji, nego o demografskom slomu jer se rađa malo djece, više je umiranja od rađanja. Imali smo i odljev mladog stanovništva, koji je sada nešto usporen, no ne i potpuno zaustavljen", rekao je i dodao da su vidljivi neki stidljivi pomaci. Također je rekao da se iz hrvatske emigracije, koje je velika, vraćaju umirovljenici, a mladi ne rađaju ovdje, nego dolaze eventualno krstiti dijete i opet odlaze.

U božićnoj pastirskoj poruci i čestitki nadbiskup Hranić među ostalim je istaknuo da se bolna stvarnost koju proživljavamo, povezana s pandemijom covida-19, događa iza zatvorenih vrata, u izolaciji naših domova, a ponajviše u bolnicama, daleko od naših očiju. "Tek nas svakodnevne brojke i grafikoni podsjete na našu ranjivost, nepostojanost i smrtnost, a učestali oproštaji od bliskih nam osoba i poznanika služe nam kao opomena, kao izazov na produbljenje vjere u utjelovljenoga i raspetog Isusa Krista te kao kršćansku vjerodostojnost i suodgovornost za društvenu stvarnost u kojoj živimo", stoji u poruci nadbiskupa Hranića.

Đakovačko-osječki nadbiskup Đuro Hranić rekao je u ponedjeljak da je bolno što nositelji najviših državnih vlasti zaboravljaju ulogu koji imaju te da bi morali biti svjesni službe koju obnašaju i imati neke kontrolne mehanizme, a ne dopuštati si svađe koje negativno djeluju na cijelo društvo.

Mons. Đuro Hranić na tradicionalnom susretu s novinarima slavonskih redakcija u Nadbiskupskom dvoru, odgovarajući na upit kako komentira aktualne podjele u društvu, rekao  da je bolna činjenica što nositelji najviših državnih vlasti zaboravljaju na ulogu i na izravni i neizravni utjecaj koji imaju na život čitavog društva.
