Primjena kemoterapije uz pomoć elastomerske pumpe, odnedavno je rutinska praksa Klinike za radioterapiju i onkologiju Kliničkog bolničkog centra Rijeka. Radi se o suvremenom svjetskom standardu koji na siguran način i uz očuvanje maksimalne kvalitete života osigurava primjenu kemoterapije onkološkim bolesnicima, a u prvoj godini primjene, očekuje se da će u riječkoj bolnici na ovaj način kemoterapiju primiti između 30 i 40 pacijenata, piše Novi list. 

- Prva pacijentica u KBC-u Rijeka započela je kemoterapiju primjenom kroz tzv. elastomerske pumpe 28. prosinca, a ciklus je uspješno završen u 30. prosinca 2022. godine. Pacijentica je bila vrlo zadovoljna terapijom koja je prošla uredno, bez ikakvih komplikacija. Iako nisu metoda izbora za sve, već samo za neke bolesnike, elastomerske pumpe imaju veliku prednost u odnosu na klasične metode kemoterapije jer bolesnicima omogućavaju punu mobilnost i normalan život s obzirom da ne moraju boraviti u bolnici zbog terapije.

Bolesnici putem ovih suvremenih uređaja primaju kemoterapiju u kućnim uvjetima i istodobno mogu obavljati svakodnevne aktivnosti. Individualno propisana kemoterapija prethodno se pripremi u bolničkim uvjetima, te instalira u elastomersku pumpu.

Pacijent s postavljenom takvom pumpom i spremnikom napunjenim adekvatnim lijekovima odlazi kući, prima terapiju, te se vraća nakon 40 sati zbog skidanja pumpe čime se ciklus završava, kaže doc. dr. Ivana Mikolašević, v.d. predstojnice Klinike za radioterapiju i onkologiju.

Preduvjet za primjenu kemoterapije putem elastomerskih pumpi je prethodno postavljen potkožni rezervoar tzv. port-a-cath kateter, javlja Novi list. 

- Oni se koriste za bolesnike koji zbog prethodne primjene citostatika ili drugih lijekova imaju oštećene vene, za bolesnike kod kojih se predviđa da će terapija infuzijama trajati duže od tri mjeseca, te za bolesnike koji će primati kemoterapiju putem elastomerskih pumpi. Procesu uvođenja elastomerskih pumpi na Klinici za radioterapiju i onkologiju KBC Rijeka prethodila je ciljana edukacija liječnika i medicinskih sestara koji su kao novoformirani tim sukladno europskim standardima zaduženi za implementaciju ove metode. U njemu su liječnici dr. Jasna Marušić i dr. Marin Golčić te magistre sestrinstva Nevena Polić i Anita Beg, a ekipa će se sukladno potrebama proširivati novim educiranim stručnjacima, dodaje Mikolašević.

Kako kaže, najveća prednost elastomerskih pumpi je to što pacijenti primaju istu kemoterapiju koju bi primili u bolnici, ali ovako mogu obavljati i svoje uobičajene životne aktivnosti. Spremnik samo moraju nositi sa sobom u maloj gumenoj boci koju mogu nositi i u torbici ili zakačiti za remen. 

- Naša prva pacijentica kojoj je terapija primijenjena ovom novom metodom, gumeni spremnik s kemoterapijom priključen na elastomersku pumpu nosila je u posebno izrađenoj torbici koju su zahvaljujući predanom trudu i svojim vrijednim rukama osigurale članice Udruge “Nada” s kojom KBC Rijeka ima tradicionalnu i iznimno bogatu suradnju u cilju ostvarivanja dobrobiti onkoloških bolesnica, zaključuje stručnjakinja.

Primjena kemoterapije uz pomoć elastomerske pumpe, odnedavno je rutinska praksa Klinike za radioterapiju i onkologiju Kliničkog bolničkog centra Rijeka. Radi se o suvremenom svjetskom standardu koji na siguran način i uz očuvanje maksimalne kvalitete života osigurava primjenu kemoterapije onkološkim bolesnicima, a u prvoj godini primjene, očekuje se da će u riječkoj bolnici na ovaj način kemoterapiju primiti između 30 i 40 pacijenata, piše Novi list. 

- Prva pacijentica u KBC-u Rijeka započela je kemoterapiju primjenom kroz tzv. elastomerske pumpe 28. prosinca, a ciklus je uspješno završen u 30. prosinca 2022. godine. Pacijentica je bila vrlo zadovoljna terapijom koja je prošla uredno, bez ikakvih komplikacija. Iako nisu metoda izbora za sve, već samo za neke bolesnike, elastomerske pumpe imaju veliku prednost u odnosu na klasične metode kemoterapije jer bolesnicima omogućavaju punu mobilnost i normalan život s obzirom da ne moraju boraviti u bolnici zbog terapije.

Bolesnici putem ovih suvremenih uređaja primaju kemoterapiju u kućnim uvjetima i istodobno mogu obavljati svakodnevne aktivnosti. Individualno propisana kemoterapija prethodno se pripremi u bolničkim uvjetima, te instalira u elastomersku pumpu.

Pacijent s postavljenom takvom pumpom i spremnikom napunjenim adekvatnim lijekovima odlazi kući, prima terapiju, te se vraća nakon 40 sati zbog skidanja pumpe čime se ciklus završava, kaže doc. dr. Ivana Mikolašević, v.d. predstojnice Klinike za radioterapiju i onkologiju.

Preduvjet za primjenu kemoterapije putem elastomerskih pumpi je prethodno postavljen potkožni rezervoar tzv. port-a-cath kateter, javlja Novi list. 

- Oni se koriste za bolesnike koji zbog prethodne primjene citostatika ili drugih lijekova imaju oštećene vene, za bolesnike kod kojih se predviđa da će terapija infuzijama trajati duže od tri mjeseca, te za bolesnike koji će primati kemoterapiju putem elastomerskih pumpi. Procesu uvođenja elastomerskih pumpi na Klinici za radioterapiju i onkologiju KBC Rijeka prethodila je ciljana edukacija liječnika i medicinskih sestara koji su kao novoformirani tim sukladno europskim standardima zaduženi za implementaciju ove metode. U njemu su liječnici dr. Jasna Marušić i dr. Marin Golčić te magistre sestrinstva Nevena Polić i Anita Beg, a ekipa će se sukladno potrebama proširivati novim educiranim stručnjacima, dodaje Mikolašević.

Kako kaže, najveća prednost elastomerskih pumpi je to što pacijenti primaju istu kemoterapiju koju bi primili u bolnici, ali ovako mogu obavljati i svoje uobičajene životne aktivnosti. Spremnik samo moraju nositi sa sobom u maloj gumenoj boci koju mogu nositi i u torbici ili zakačiti za remen. 

- Naša prva pacijentica kojoj je terapija primijenjena ovom novom metodom, gumeni spremnik s kemoterapijom priključen na elastomersku pumpu nosila je u posebno izrađenoj torbici koju su zahvaljujući predanom trudu i svojim vrijednim rukama osigurale članice Udruge “Nada” s kojom KBC Rijeka ima tradicionalnu i iznimno bogatu suradnju u cilju ostvarivanja dobrobiti onkoloških bolesnica, zaključuje stručnjakinja.

Primjena kemoterapije uz pomoć elastomerske pumpe, odnedavno je rutinska praksa Klinike za radioterapiju i onkologiju Kliničkog bolničkog centra Rijeka. Radi se o suvremenom svjetskom standardu koji na siguran način i uz očuvanje maksimalne kvalitete života osigurava primjenu kemoterapije onkološkim bolesnicima, a u prvoj godini primjene, očekuje se da će u riječkoj bolnici na ovaj način kemoterapiju primiti između 30 i 40 pacijenata, piše Novi list. 

- Prva pacijentica u KBC-u Rijeka započela je kemoterapiju primjenom kroz tzv. elastomerske pumpe 28. prosinca, a ciklus je uspješno završen u 30. prosinca 2022. godine.
