Pozivnicom na svečani ručak s francuskim predsjednikom Emmanuelom Macronom, koju su sa zadovoljstvom prihvatili, u Viteškom alkarskom društvu okrenuli su novu stranicu fokusiranja francuske države. S malo slobodnijom interpretacijom moglo bi se ustvrditi da su u četvrtak u zagrebačkom hotelu "Esplanada" sinjski alkari poslije više od dva stoljeća Francuze prestali "gledati na krivo".

Gorko sjećanje na Francuze

Sinjska alka od svoga utemeljenja do danas uvijek se održavala samo u Sinju i uvijek na istoj stazi alkarskog trkališta, ali kroz više od tri stoljeća održavala se u više od deset država. U alkarskoj memoriji, kroz pisanu i usmenu predaju, na većinu država i vladara gleda se sa simpatijama. Francuzi nisu ostali u takvim sjećanjima.

Alka je utemeljena 1715. godine u Mletačkoj Republici u čast Sinjanima koji su u ratnom srazu s mnogostruko brojnijim Osmanlijama uspjeli obraniti slobodu. Austrija je u međuvremenu preuzela Veneciju, koju je zadržala i poslije rata s Napoleonom, zaključenog mirovnim sporazumom u Campoformiju 1797. godine. Slijedi novi ratni sukob Francuske i Austrije te austrijski poraz u bitci kod Austerlitza 2. prosinca 1805. godine, poslije kojeg je 26. prosinca iste godine potpisan mirovni sporazum kod Požuna (Bratislave). Tim sporazumom Francuska je od Austrije dobila Veneciju, Istru, Boku kotorsku i Dalmaciju koje je Napolen priključio takozvanom Kraljevstvu Italije.

Tako se Sinj 27. prosinca našao pod vlasti Francuza koji napuštaju dotadašnju praksu austrijske vladavine, uvode radikalne promjene, posebno u školstvu, administraciji i graditeljstvu, ali i štednju kada je u pitanju trošak na račun centralne državne blagajne. Da bi održali svoju vitešku igru, alkarima je trebala nevelika svota novca, koji su od ranijih vlasti u pravilu redovito dobivali. Francuzi su se u tom segmentu na prvu pokazali tvrdim orahom pa su na njihov spomen alkari osjećali gorak okus.

Alkari su trebali posjetiti Pariz 

Kroz kratkotrajno vladanje Francuza, u trajanju od samo 12 godina, Alka se održavala neredovito, najneredovitije u njezinoj više od tri stoljeća dugoj povijesti.

Od 1805. do 1817. godine, kada se francusko carstvu raspalo, a Austrija ponovno preuzela upravljanje i nad Dalmacijom, između administracije Napoleonove države i sinjskih alkara vodila se stalna bitka. Rijetki dokumenti iz toga vremena navode na zaključak da Francuzi, zapravo, nisu bili protiv Alke već su donoseći velike promjene kresali troškove centralne državne blagajne. Tako su prekinuli dotadašnji kontinuitet u financiranju Alke koji je ustalila Austrija. Sinjani su, pak, bili ustrajni u zahtjevu za financiranje održavanja svoje viteške igre. U tom nadigravanju između dvaju neravnopravnih suparnika Francuzi nikada izrijekom nisu ništa kazali protiv Alke, ali su svim silama upućivali sinjske vitezove da novac potreban za pokriće troškova održavanja njihove viteške igre pribave od lokalnih blagajni...

Kada je Hrvatska tijekom prvog polugodišta 2020. godine predsjedala Europskom unijom bilo je, uz ostalo, planirano da se Hrvatska kao država predstavi ostalim članicama ove zajednice država svojim kulturno-povijesnim nasljeđem. U tom su kontekstu obavljene sve potrebne pripreme za demonstriranje održavanja sinjske viteške igre. Zbog pandemije koronavirusa odlazak alkara u Pariz, kao i planirano predstavljanje Hrvatske Europi je otpalo.

Nije se, međutim, ugasila sama ideja. Ona i dalje živi, vrlo je aktualna, a poslije "pomirbe" na svečanom ručku u "Esplanadi" još je potentnija. Kako sada stvari stoje, a sve ovisi o intenzitetu širenja koronavirusa, alkari bi se Francuzima i Europi mogli predstaviti već tijekom proljeća 2022. godine. Upravo u vrijeme kada će Europskom unijom predsjedati Francuska.

Pozivnicom na svečani ručak s francuskim predsjednikom Emmanuelom Macronom, koju su sa zadovoljstvom prihvatili, u Viteškom alkarskom društvu okrenuli su novu stranicu fokusiranja francuske države. S malo slobodnijom interpretacijom moglo bi se ustvrditi da su u četvrtak u zagrebačkom hotelu "Esplanada" sinjski alkari poslije više od dva stoljeća Francuze prestali "gledati na krivo".

Gorko sjećanje na Francuze

Sinjska alka od svoga utemeljenja do danas uvijek se održavala samo u Sinju i uvijek na istoj stazi alkarskog trkališta, ali kroz više od tri stoljeća održavala se u više od deset država. U alkarskoj memoriji, kroz pisanu i usmenu predaju, na većinu država i vladara gleda se sa simpatijama. Francuzi nisu ostali u takvim sjećanjima.

Alka je utemeljena 1715. godine u Mletačkoj Republici u čast Sinjanima koji su u ratnom srazu s mnogostruko brojnijim Osmanlijama uspjeli obraniti slobodu. Austrija je u međuvremenu preuzela Veneciju, koju je zadržala i poslije rata s Napoleonom, zaključenog mirovnim sporazumom u Campoformiju 1797. godine. Slijedi novi ratni sukob Francuske i Austrije te austrijski poraz u bitci kod Austerlitza 2. prosinca 1805. godine, poslije kojeg je 26. prosinca iste godine potpisan mirovni sporazum kod Požuna (Bratislave). Tim sporazumom Francuska je od Austrije dobila Veneciju, Istru, Boku kotorsku i Dalmaciju koje je Napolen priključio takozvanom Kraljevstvu Italije.

Tako se Sinj 27. prosinca našao pod vlasti Francuza koji napuštaju dotadašnju praksu austrijske vladavine, uvode radikalne promjene, posebno u školstvu, administraciji i graditeljstvu, ali i štednju kada je u pitanju trošak na račun centralne državne blagajne. Da bi održali svoju vitešku igru, alkarima je trebala nevelika svota novca, koji su od ranijih vlasti u pravilu redovito dobivali. Francuzi su se u tom segmentu na prvu pokazali tvrdim orahom pa su na njihov spomen alkari osjećali gorak okus.

Alkari su trebali posjetiti Pariz 

Kroz kratkotrajno vladanje Francuza, u trajanju od samo 12 godina, Alka se održavala neredovito, najneredovitije u njezinoj više od tri stoljeća dugoj povijesti.

Od 1805. do 1817. godine, kada se francusko carstvu raspalo, a Austrija ponovno preuzela upravljanje i nad Dalmacijom, između administracije Napoleonove države i sinjskih alkara vodila se stalna bitka. Rijetki dokumenti iz toga vremena navode na zaključak da Francuzi, zapravo, nisu bili protiv Alke već su donoseći velike promjene kresali troškove centralne državne blagajne. Tako su prekinuli dotadašnji kontinuitet u financiranju Alke koji je ustalila Austrija. Sinjani su, pak, bili ustrajni u zahtjevu za financiranje održavanja svoje viteške igre. U tom nadigravanju između dvaju neravnopravnih suparnika Francuzi nikada izrijekom nisu ništa kazali protiv Alke, ali su svim silama upućivali sinjske vitezove da novac potreban za pokriće troškova održavanja njihove viteške igre pribave od lokalnih blagajni...

Kada je Hrvatska tijekom prvog polugodišta 2020. godine predsjedala Europskom unijom bilo je, uz ostalo, planirano da se Hrvatska kao država predstavi ostalim članicama ove zajednice država svojim kulturno-povijesnim nasljeđem. U tom su kontekstu obavljene sve potrebne pripreme za demonstriranje održavanja sinjske viteške igre. Zbog pandemije koronavirusa odlazak alkara u Pariz, kao i planirano predstavljanje Hrvatske Europi je otpalo.

Nije se, međutim, ugasila sama ideja. Ona i dalje živi, vrlo je aktualna, a poslije "pomirbe" na svečanom ručku u "Esplanadi" još je potentnija. Kako sada stvari stoje, a sve ovisi o intenzitetu širenja koronavirusa, alkari bi se Francuzima i Europi mogli predstaviti već tijekom proljeća 2022. godine. Upravo u vrijeme kada će Europskom unijom predsjedati Francuska.
