Samoubojstvo se javlja u bilo kojoj dobi tijekom života i drugi je vodeći uzrok smrti među ljudima od 15 do 29 godina na svjetskoj razini – tužan je podatak Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije, koja procjenjuje i kako više od 800.000 ljudi godišnje izgubi život zbog samoubojstva ili jedna osoba svakih 40 sekundi. Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo (HZJZ) izvršena samoubojstva navodi kao jedan od vodećih uzroka smrti od ozljeda u našoj zemlji.

U petak se obilježavao Svjetski dan prevencije samoubojstava, koji je stručnjacima i brojnim civilnim udrugama bio povod da pozovu na podizanje svijesti u javnosti o ovome gorućem problemu kojega nije pošteđen nijedan uzrast. Za Hrvatsku je donekle ohrabrujuća statistika u tome što se u općoj populaciji broj slučajeva suicida godinama ne povećava drastično, ali ipak MUP-ovi podaci pokazuju kako je u 2020. godini ukupan broj osoba (sve dobne skupine) koje su pokušale suicid 1328, što predstavlja porast u odnosu na 2019. godinu (1256) za 5,7 posto. Međutim, broj smrtnih slučajeva kao posljedice suicida identičan je u te dvije godine i iznosi 566 u svakoj.

Ono što zabrinjava, a upozorava na to i zdravstveni portal Kreni Zdravo, jest da je 2020. godine - prema MUP-ovim podacima – u dobnim skupinama od 15 do 25 godina bilo počinjeno 44 suicida, što je porast od 57,1 posto u odnosu na godinu dana ranije.

Prema MUP-ovim podacima, lani je troje djece mlađe od 14 godina pokušalo dići ruku na sebe, što je znatno manje nego 2019. godine kada ih je bilo 11, ali je zato porastao broj onih u dobi od 15 do 18 koji su pokušali suicid i to sa 31 u 2019. godini na 59 u 2020.-oj. Podsjetimo i kako MUP-ova statistika pokazuje da je u prvih pet mjeseci ove godine broj pokušaja samoubojstava porastao za čak 66 posto među djecom do 14 godina te za 55 posto u dobnoj skupini od 15 do 18 godina, ali je, srećom, među mladima od 19 do 25 godina pao za 68,8 posto.

O razornim posljedicama pandemije koronavirusa na mentalno zdravlje djece i mladih oglasili su se brojni domaći i međunarodni stručnjaci, a još će se raditi analize koliko je ona pridonijela crnoj statistici oko ove teme. Poliklinika za zaštitu djece i mladih grada Zagreba u povodu Svjetskog dana prevencije samoubojstva objavila je vrijedan priručnik „Suicidalnost u djece i adolescenata – priručnik za stručnjake i roditelje“, u kojemu stručnjaci Poliklinike odgovaraju na pitanja poput onih što podrazumijeva suicidalnost, koji su čimbenici rizika i kako prepoznati da je mlada osoba u riziku, kako razgovarati s mladom osobom o suicidalnosti, što kada liječnik predloži hospitalizaciju ili lijekove i niz drugih.

- Rad s djecom i mladima u Poliklinici pokazao je kako sve više raste broj onih s anksioznošću, depresivnošću, osjećajem tuge i praznine, da su prisutna razmišljanja o smislu života, sve je više onih koji se samoozljeđuju. Povjerenstvo za zaštitu mentalnog zdravlja djece i mladih grada Zagreba provelo je u veljači i ožujku ove godine istraživanje među više od 22 tisuće djece u gradu Zagrebu, što je četvrtina ukupnog broja učenika, i došlo do rezultata koji su potvrdili naša iskustva iz svakodnevne prakse – kaže prof. dr. sc. Gordana Buljan Flander, psihologinja i psihoterapeutkinja, ravnateljice Poliklinike u Zagrebu i suautorica najnovijeg priručnika.

Neki od rezultata istraživanja pokazuju da devet posto školske djece u Zagrebu (a treba podsjetiti kako je velik dio njih doživio i potres) pokazuje klinički značajnu anksioznost i/ili depresivnost, a 14 posto klinički značajnu posttraumatsku simptomatologiju.

Također, svaki drugi (48 posto) navodi osjećaj tuge i praznine te emocionalnu osjetljivost/plašljivost (51 posto), 56 posto ima teškoće koncentriranja, čak 60 posto socijalnu anksioznost, a 74 posto zabrinuto je zbog neuspjeha.

- Istraživanje potvrđuje naša iskustva, a sve to mogu biti rizični faktori i za autodestruktivna i suicidalna promišljanja. Zato smo ovaj dan željeli obilježiti izdavanjem priručnika za roditelje i stručnjake s jedinstvenom porukom: suicid je moguće prevenirati – poručuje Gordana Buljan Flander.

Samoubojstvo se javlja u bilo kojoj dobi tijekom života i drugi je vodeći uzrok smrti među ljudima od 15 do 29 godina na svjetskoj razini – tužan je podatak Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije, koja procjenjuje i kako više od 800.000 ljudi godišnje izgubi život zbog samoubojstva ili jedna osoba svakih 40 sekundi. Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo (HZJZ) izvršena samoubojstva navodi kao jedan od vodećih uzroka smrti od ozljeda u našoj zemlji.

U petak se obilježavao Svjetski dan prevencije samoubojstava, koji je stručnjacima i brojnim civilnim udrugama bio povod da pozovu na podizanje svijesti u javnosti o ovome gorućem problemu kojega nije pošteđen nijedan uzrast. Za Hrvatsku je donekle ohrabrujuća statistika u tome što se u općoj populaciji broj slučajeva suicida godinama ne povećava drastično, ali ipak MUP-ovi podaci pokazuju kako je u 2020. godini ukupan broj osoba (sve dobne skupine) koje su pokušale suicid 1328, što predstavlja porast u odnosu na 2019. godinu (1256) za 5,7 posto. Međutim, broj smrtnih slučajeva kao posljedice suicida identičan je u te dvije godine i iznosi 566 u svakoj.

Ono što zabrinjava, a upozorava na to i zdravstveni portal Kreni Zdravo, jest da je 2020. godine - prema MUP-ovim podacima – u dobnim skupinama od 15 do 25 godina bilo počinjeno 44 suicida, što je porast od 57,1 posto u odnosu na godinu dana ranije.

Prema MUP-ovim podacima, lani je troje djece mlađe od 14 godina pokušalo dići ruku na sebe, što je znatno manje nego 2019. godine kada ih je bilo 11, ali je zato porastao broj onih u dobi od 15 do 18 koji su pokušali suicid i to sa 31 u 2019. godini na 59 u 2020.-oj. Podsjetimo i kako MUP-ova statistika pokazuje da je u prvih pet mjeseci ove godine broj pokušaja samoubojstava porastao za čak 66 posto među djecom do 14 godina te za 55 posto u dobnoj skupini od 15 do 18 godina, ali je, srećom, među mladima od 19 do 25 godina pao za 68,8 posto.

O razornim posljedicama pandemije koronavirusa na mentalno zdravlje djece i mladih oglasili su se brojni domaći i međunarodni stručnjaci, a još će se raditi analize koliko je ona pridonijela crnoj statistici oko ove teme. Poliklinika za zaštitu djece i mladih grada Zagreba u povodu Svjetskog dana prevencije samoubojstva objavila je vrijedan priručnik „Suicidalnost u djece i adolescenata – priručnik za stručnjake i roditelje“, u kojemu stručnjaci Poliklinike odgovaraju na pitanja poput onih što podrazumijeva suicidalnost, koji su čimbenici rizika i kako prepoznati da je mlada osoba u riziku, kako razgovarati s mladom osobom o suicidalnosti, što kada liječnik predloži hospitalizaciju ili lijekove i niz drugih.

- Rad s djecom i mladima u Poliklinici pokazao je kako sve više raste broj onih s anksioznošću, depresivnošću, osjećajem tuge i praznine, da su prisutna razmišljanja o smislu života, sve je više onih koji se samoozljeđuju. Povjerenstvo za zaštitu mentalnog zdravlja djece i mladih grada Zagreba provelo je u veljači i ožujku ove godine istraživanje među više od 22 tisuće djece u gradu Zagrebu, što je četvrtina ukupnog broja učenika, i došlo do rezultata koji su potvrdili naša iskustva iz svakodnevne prakse – kaže prof. dr. sc. Gordana Buljan Flander, psihologinja i psihoterapeutkinja, ravnateljice Poliklinike u Zagrebu i suautorica najnovijeg priručnika.

Neki od rezultata istraživanja pokazuju da devet posto školske djece u Zagrebu (a treba podsjetiti kako je velik dio njih doživio i potres) pokazuje klinički značajnu anksioznost i/ili depresivnost, a 14 posto klinički značajnu posttraumatsku simptomatologiju.

Također, svaki drugi (48 posto) navodi osjećaj tuge i praznine te emocionalnu osjetljivost/plašljivost (51 posto), 56 posto ima teškoće koncentriranja, čak 60 posto socijalnu anksioznost, a 74 posto zabrinuto je zbog neuspjeha.

- Istraživanje potvrđuje naša iskustva, a sve to mogu biti rizični faktori i za autodestruktivna i suicidalna promišljanja. Zato smo ovaj dan željeli obilježiti izdavanjem priručnika za roditelje i stručnjake s jedinstvenom porukom: suicid je moguće prevenirati – poručuje Gordana Buljan Flander.

Samoubojstvo se javlja u bilo kojoj dobi tijekom života i drugi je vodeći uzrok smrti među ljudima od 15 do 29 godina na svjetskoj razini – tužan je podatak Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije, koja procjenjuje i kako više od 800.000 ljudi godišnje izgubi život zbog samoubojstva ili jedna osoba svakih 40 sekundi. Hrvatski zavod za javno zdravstvo (HZJZ) izvršena samoubojstva navodi kao jedan od vodećih uzroka smrti od ozljeda u našoj zemlji.

U petak se obilježavao Svjetski dan prevencije samoubojstava, koji je stručnjacima i brojnim civilnim udrugama bio povod da pozovu na podizanje svijesti u javnosti o ovome gorućem problemu kojega nije pošteđen nijedan uzrast.
