Policija je objavila rezultate 24-satnog nadzor brzine u akciji Speed Marathon, koja se provodi na području cijele Europe, a tijekom koje se policijskim djelovanjem osigurava pridržavanje propisanih ograničenja brzine u prometu.
U akciji koja je provođenja u srijedu tijekom 24 sata sudjelovalo je 797 policajaca i policajki, a kontrolirali su 5310 vozila na 1490 lokacija.
Policijski službenici prometne policije utvrdili su ukupno 2807 prekršaja prekoračenja dopuštene brzine kretanja vozila, od čega je 1461 prekršaj utvrđen od strane policijskih službenika, a 1346 prekršaja utvrđeno je tehničkim sredstvima (kamere).
Najveći broj prekršaja, njih 423, utvrđen je na području PU zagrebačke, a najmanji broj – 31 prekršaj, na području PU šibensko-kninske.
Na području PU istarske i PU primorsko-goranske je gotovo svaki drugi kontrolirani vozač prekoračio propisanu brzinu kretanja.
Neslavni rekorder ove akcije vozilom je upravljao autocestom A1 na području PU karlovačke – na mjestu gdje je ograničenje brzine 100 km/h, kretao se 215 km/h, čak 115 km/h iznad ograničenja.
Na području PU splitsko-dalmatinske najveća brzina izmjerena je fiksnom kamerom - 135 km/h, u naseljuKaštel Lukšić.
Na području PU zadarske vozač je upravljao osobnim automobilom brzinom od 127 km/h, u mjestu na kojem je brzina ograničena na 50 km/h, dakle 77 km/h iznad propisanog ograničenja.
Akcija se inače održava jednom godišnje, tijekom ROADPOL-ove Operativne akcije Brzina, koja se ove godine odvija u tjednu od 19. do 25. travnja, a 24 satni nadzor brzine provodi se ne samo s ciljem represivnoga, već i preventivnog djelovanja na sve vozače. U pripremi same akcije, građani su policijskim upravama predlagali lokacije za nadzor brzine kretanja vozila.
Policijski službenici brzinu su nadzirali odobrenim metodama i uređajima, a prijestupnici su se zaustavljali i kažnjavali na licu mjesta. Samo dan prije provođenja akcije, u utorak na hrvatskim je prometnicama poginulo petoro ljudi na širem zagrebačkom, riječkom i zadarskom području te u tunelu Mala Kapela.
U sudaru dvaju vozila u tunelu Mala Kapela, zbog čega je tunel bio zatvoren do 15,45 sati, u utorak je poginuo strani državljanin (75) iz automobila njemačkih registarskih oznaka.
Ranije u jutarnjim satima, prilikom slijetanja vozila s kolnika kod Svetog Ivana Zeline, poginula je jedna osoba, dok je u večernjim satima ponedjeljka na cestama zabilježeno troje smrtno stradalih.
Dva mladića u dobi od 21 i 20 godinu poginula su u ponedjeljak navečer kod mjesta Kožino, a 59-godišnji vozač kod mjesta Čavle blizu Rijeke.
Prema podacima MUP-a u 2020. na cestama je poginulo 60 osoba manje nego godinu ranije i najmanje od osamostaljenja Hrvatske.
Pozitivan trend nastavljen je i u prva tri ovogodišnja mjeseca u kojima je bilo osam poginulih manje nego u prva tri mjeseca 2020. No, u travnju je dosada već poginulo 15 osoba, kao u cijelom prošlom mjesecu.

Policija je objavila rezultate 24-satnog nadzor brzine u akciji Speed Marathon, koja se provodi na području cijele Europe, a tijekom koje se policijskim djelovanjem osigurava pridržavanje propisanih ograničenja brzine u prometu.
U akciji koja je provođenja u srijedu tijekom 24 sata sudjelovalo je 797 policajaca i policajki, a kontrolirali su 5310 vozila na 1490 lokacija.
Policijski službenici prometne policije utvrdili su ukupno 2807 prekršaja prekoračenja dopuštene brzine kretanja vozila, od čega je 1461 prekršaj utvrđen od strane policijskih službenika, a 1346 prekršaja utvrđeno je tehničkim sredstvima (kamere).
Najveći broj prekršaja, njih 423, utvrđen je na području PU zagrebačke, a najmanji broj – 31 prekršaj, na području PU šibensko-kninske.
Na području PU istarske i PU primorsko-goranske je gotovo svaki drugi kontrolirani vozač prekoračio propisanu brzinu kretanja.
Neslavni rekorder ove akcije vozilom je upravljao autocestom A1 na području PU karlovačke – na mjestu gdje je ograničenje brzine 100 km/h, kretao se 215 km/h, čak 115 km/h iznad ograničenja.
Na području PU splitsko-dalmatinske najveća brzina izmjerena je fiksnom kamerom - 135 km/h, u naseljuKaštel Lukšić.
Na području PU zadarske vozač je upravljao osobnim automobilom brzinom od 127 km/h, u mjestu na kojem je brzina ograničena na 50 km/h, dakle 77 km/h iznad propisanog ograničenja.
Akcija se inače održava jednom godišnje, tijekom ROADPOL-ove Operativne akcije Brzina, koja se ove godine odvija u tjednu od 19. do 25. travnja, a 24 satni nadzor brzine provodi se ne samo s ciljem represivnoga, već i preventivnog djelovanja na sve vozače. U pripremi same akcije, građani su policijskim upravama predlagali lokacije za nadzor brzine kretanja vozila.
Policijski službenici brzinu su nadzirali odobrenim metodama i uređajima, a prijestupnici su se zaustavljali i kažnjavali na licu mjesta. Samo dan prije provođenja akcije, u utorak na hrvatskim je prometnicama poginulo petoro ljudi na širem zagrebačkom, riječkom i zadarskom području te u tunelu Mala Kapela.
U sudaru dvaju vozila u tunelu Mala Kapela, zbog čega je tunel bio zatvoren do 15,45 sati, u utorak je poginuo strani državljanin (75) iz automobila njemačkih registarskih oznaka.
Ranije u jutarnjim satima, prilikom slijetanja vozila s kolnika kod Svetog Ivana Zeline, poginula je jedna osoba, dok je u večernjim satima ponedjeljka na cestama zabilježeno troje smrtno stradalih.
Dva mladića u dobi od 21 i 20 godinu poginula su u ponedjeljak navečer kod mjesta Kožino, a 59-godišnji vozač kod mjesta Čavle blizu Rijeke.
Prema podacima MUP-a u 2020. na cestama je poginulo 60 osoba manje nego godinu ranije i najmanje od osamostaljenja Hrvatske.
Pozitivan trend nastavljen je i u prva tri ovogodišnja mjeseca u kojima je bilo osam poginulih manje nego u prva tri mjeseca 2020. No, u travnju je dosada već poginulo 15 osoba, kao u cijelom prošlom mjesecu.
