Prema podacima koje je iznio prometni stručnjak Željko Marušić na hrvatskim cestama tijekom prošle godine poginula je 331 osoba, što je za 7,8 posto više nego u 2016.

U članku, objavljenom na autoportalu.hr, Marušić navodi da podaci nisu konačni i da će se možda pribrojiti preminuli do 30. siječnja 2018., koji su imali nesreću u 2017.

U 2016. u prometnim nesrećama poginulo je 307 osoba i Hrvatska je s tom brojkom, po razmjernim pokazateljima smrtnosti na cestama, bila 60 posto iznad EU prosjeka, rekao je Marušić.

Zaključio je pritom da sigurnost cestovnog prometa "vozi u rikverc" premda je Hrvatska od 2000. u cestovnu infrastrukturu, razmjerno broju stanovnika i BDP-u, uložila najviše u EU i svijetu.



Kad se uračuna intenzivni odljev prometno najaktivnijeg dijela stanovništva, što bi trebalo smanjiti broj nesreća, realna je smrtnost na hrvatskim cestama 80 na milijun stanovnika.

Razlozi vrlo lošeg stanja sigurnosti na našim cestama prema Marušiću su prestar vozni park, nerazumno visoka davanja, neučinkovito i nepošteno pravosuđe i nedovoljno oštre kazne za obijesne vozače. Tu je pribrojio i nesigurne prometnice, neučinkovit i manjkav nadzor prometa, manjkave i nelogične prometne propise, preskup taksi prijevoz, previsoke cestarine, loše medicinsko zbrinjavanje unesrećenih i upravljanje sigurnošću prometa u Ministarstvu unutarnjih poslova umjesto u Ministarstvu pomorstva, prometa i infrastrukture.

Prema podacima koje je iznio prometni stručnjak Željko Marušić na hrvatskim cestama tijekom prošle godine poginula je 331 osoba, što je za 7,8 posto više nego u 2016.

U članku, objavljenom na autoportalu.hr, Marušić navodi da podaci nisu konačni i da će se možda pribrojiti preminuli do 30. siječnja 2018., koji su imali nesreću u 2017.

U 2016. u prometnim nesrećama poginulo je 307 osoba i Hrvatska je s tom brojkom, po razmjernim pokazateljima smrtnosti na cestama, bila 60 posto iznad EU prosjeka, rekao je Marušić.

Zaključio je pritom da sigurnost cestovnog prometa "vozi u rikverc" premda je Hrvatska od 2000. u cestovnu infrastrukturu, razmjerno broju stanovnika i BDP-u, uložila najviše u EU i svijetu.



Kad se uračuna intenzivni odljev prometno najaktivnijeg dijela stanovništva, što bi trebalo smanjiti broj nesreća, realna je smrtnost na hrvatskim cestama 80 na milijun stanovnika.

Razlozi vrlo lošeg stanja sigurnosti na našim cestama prema Marušiću su prestar vozni park, nerazumno visoka davanja, neučinkovito i nepošteno pravosuđe i nedovoljno oštre kazne za obijesne vozače. Tu je pribrojio i nesigurne prometnice, neučinkovit i manjkav nadzor prometa, manjkave i nelogične prometne propise, preskup taksi prijevoz, previsoke cestarine, loše medicinsko zbrinjavanje unesrećenih i upravljanje sigurnošću prometa u Ministarstvu unutarnjih poslova umjesto u Ministarstvu pomorstva, prometa i infrastrukture.
