Dionice na Wall Streetu u petak su zabilježile novo otklizavanje, dovodeći indeks Standard & Poor"s 500 na najnižu razinu u posljednjih 12 godina, nakon što je objavljen veći pad bruto domaćeg proizvoda od očekivanog, a povećanje vladinog udjela u banci Citigroup srušilo je njezinu tržišnu vrijednost.
Dionica Citigroup potonula je za 39 posto nakon što je ministarstvo financija objavilo treći pokušaj spašavanje banke, ovoga puta s računovodstvenom operacijom u kojoj je 25 milijardi dolara povlaštenih dionica pretvoreno u obične dionice, čime je udio države povećan za osam posto, na ukupno 36 posto.
Time je, po objašnjenju ministarstva, ojačana bilanca banke bez dodatnog trošenja proračunskog novca, no na Wall Streetu je taj potez shvaćen kao korak bliže nacionalizaciji i dionica Citigruop je prednjačila u padu vrijednosti cijelog financijskog sektora.
Dionica Bank of America pala je za 26 posto, izbrisavši četverodnevni rast bankarske skupine unutar indeksa S&P 500.
Dionice aluminijskog koncerna Alcoa i avioindustrije Boeing pale su više od 3,8 posto nakon što je ministarstvo trgovine objavilo da se BDP smanjio za 6,2 posto na godišnjoj razini u četvrtom tromjesečju 2008.
- Priča o Citigroup je noćna mora koja postaje sve gorom, bez kraja na vidiku", izjavio je za agenciju Bloomberg Matthew Kaufler, menadžer za ulaganja tvrtke Federated Clover Investment Advisors, koji nadzire 2,1 milijardu dolara imovine.
- Činjenica da se to dogodilo na dana kada smo dobili užasne brojke BDP-a, samo je dodala ulje na vatru - dodao je Kaufler.
Indeks S&P 500 pao je za 2,4 posto na 735,09 bodova što je njegova najniža razina od prosinca 1996.
Indeks Dow Jones pao je za 119,15 bodova ili 1,7 posto, na 7.062,93 bodova, što mu je najniža razina od svibnja 1997.
Indeks Nasdaq izgubio je 13,63 bodova ili 0,98 posto, došavši na 1.377,84 bodova.
Indeks manjih kompanija Russell 2000 pao je jedan posto.
Indeks Dow Jones zabilježio je rekordan bodovni pad u veljači. S izgubljenih 937,93 bodova ili 11,7 posto, to je najveći pad Dow Jonesa od 1933. godine, izvijestio je The Wall Street Journal.
Na dioničkoj burzi u New Yorku - NYSE, u petak je 1.010 dionica raslo a 2.057 je izgubilo vrijednost, dok je opseg trgovanja iznosio 8,3 milijardi dionica.
Euro je pao na 1.2664 američkih dolara, u usporedbi s 1.2739 dolara u četvrtak.
Prema japanskom jenu, dolar je pao na 97,56 jena, dok je u četvrtak bio 98,35 jena.

Dionice na Wall Streetu u petak su zabilježile novo otklizavanje, dovodeći indeks Standard & Poor"s 500 na najnižu razinu u posljednjih 12 godina, nakon što je objavljen veći pad bruto domaćeg proizvoda od očekivanog, a povećanje vladinog udjela u banci Citigroup srušilo je njezinu tržišnu vrijednost.
Dionica Citigroup potonula je za 39 posto nakon što je ministarstvo financija objavilo treći pokušaj spašavanje banke, ovoga puta s računovodstvenom operacijom u kojoj je 25 milijardi dolara povlaštenih dionica pretvoreno u obične dionice, čime je udio države povećan za osam posto, na ukupno 36 posto.
Time je, po objašnjenju ministarstva, ojačana bilanca banke bez dodatnog trošenja proračunskog novca, no na Wall Streetu je taj potez shvaćen kao korak bliže nacionalizaciji i dionica Citigruop je prednjačila u padu vrijednosti cijelog financijskog sektora.
Dionica Bank of America pala je za 26 posto, izbrisavši četverodnevni rast bankarske skupine unutar indeksa S&P 500.
Dionice aluminijskog koncerna Alcoa i avioindustrije Boeing pale su više od 3,8 posto nakon što je ministarstvo trgovine objavilo da se BDP smanjio za 6,2 posto na godišnjoj razini u četvrtom tromjesečju 2008.
- Priča o Citigroup je noćna mora koja postaje sve gorom, bez kraja na vidiku", izjavio je za agenciju Bloomberg Matthew Kaufler, menadžer za ulaganja tvrtke Federated Clover Investment Advisors, koji nadzire 2,1 milijardu dolara imovine.
- Činjenica da se to dogodilo na dana kada smo dobili užasne brojke BDP-a, samo je dodala ulje na vatru - dodao je Kaufler.
Indeks S&P 500 pao je za 2,4 posto na 735,09 bodova što je njegova najniža razina od prosinca 1996.
Indeks Dow Jones pao je za 119,15 bodova ili 1,7 posto, na 7.062,93 bodova, što mu je najniža razina od svibnja 1997.
Indeks Nasdaq izgubio je 13,63 bodova ili 0,98 posto, došavši na 1.377,84 bodova.
Indeks manjih kompanija Russell 2000 pao je jedan posto.
Indeks Dow Jones zabilježio je rekordan bodovni pad u veljači. S izgubljenih 937,93 bodova ili 11,7 posto, to je najveći pad Dow Jonesa od 1933. godine, izvijestio je The Wall Street Journal.
Na dioničkoj burzi u New Yorku - NYSE, u petak je 1.010 dionica raslo a 2.057 je izgubilo vrijednost, dok je opseg trgovanja iznosio 8,3 milijardi dionica.
Euro je pao na 1.2664 američkih dolara, u usporedbi s 1.2739 dolara u četvrtak.
Prema japanskom jenu, dolar je pao na 97,56 jena, dok je u četvrtak bio 98,35 jena.
