Ekonomska kriza uzima danak i među najvećim svjetskim tvrtkama: div internetske trgovine Amazon ovog je tjedna postao prva javna tvrtka na svijetu koja je izgubila bilijun dolara tržišne vrijednosti. Pritom se taj drastični pad dogodio u svega 18 mjeseci.

Konkretno, nakon što su sredinom ovog tjedna dionice Amazona pale za dodatnih 4,3 posto, tržišna vrijednost kompanije smanjila se na 879 milijardi dolara, što je za preko bilijun dolara manje od tržišnog vrhunca od 1,88 bilijuna dolara, koliko je tvrtka vrijedila lani u srpnju.

Time je Amazon u godinu i pol izgubio više od polovine svoje tržišne vrijednosti. Zapravo, taj 50-postotni pad odvio se u manje od godinu dana: dok je 19. studenoga prošle godine dionica Amazona vrijedila 3843 dolara, početkom ovog mjeseca pala je na 1909 dolara, a sada je još i manja.

Kako navodi Bloomberg, tržišni pad Amazona posljedica je kombinacije više faktora – od rastuće inflacije, preko pooštravanja monetarne politike do slabijih poslovnih rezultata – što je dovelo do ovogodišnje povijesne rasprodaje dionica tvrtke, čime je i bogatstvo Amazonova vlasnika Jeffa Bezosa smanjeno za 83 milijarde dolara, odnosno palo na „svega” 109 milijardi.

‘Budžeti kupaca su smanjeni‘

Među ostalim, na poslovanje Amazona odrazila se činjenica da su se kupci vratili potrošačkim navikama iz vremena prije pandemije, što znači da češće odlaze u fizičke trgovine, a manje kupuju online.

Osim toga, inflacija slabi potražnju za Amazonovim proizvodima, dok troškovi skladištenja, pakiranja i transporta proizvoda rastu, kao što rastu i kamatne stope, što se također negativno odražava na bilancu tvrtke.

U listopadu je Amazon projicirao najsporiji rast prihoda za blagdansko tromjesečje u povijesti tvrtke, prije svega zato što u uvjetima ekonomske neizvjesnosti kupci smanjuju potrošnju.

‒ Posvuda vidimo znakove da su budžeti kupaca smanjeni. Inflacija je još uvijek visoka, a troškovi energije uzrokuju dodatne probleme. Pripremamo se za razdoblje sporijeg rasta, poput većine tvrtki ‒ rekao je krajem listopada financijski direktor Amazona Brian Olsavsky.

No Amazon nije jedina velika tehnološka kompanija koja bilježi ovako radikalne gubitke. Za petama mu je slavni Microsoft, koji je u godinu dana, od prošlog studenoga, izgubio 889 milijardi dolara tržišne vrijednosti.

Zapravo je poharan čitav tehnološki sektor, čije dionice padaju već godinu dana

„Cijela je ova godina obilježena padom dionica tehnoloških tvrtki, a strahovi od recesije dodatno su prigušili raspoloženje nekad najbogatijeg sektora. Pet najvećih američkih tehnoloških kompanija doživjelo je ove godine pad tržišne vrijednosti od gotovo 4 bilijuna dolara”, piše Bloomberg.

Osim Amazona, u te „najveće gubitnike” spadaju i Apple, Microsoft, Tesla i Alphabet.

Ekonomska kriza uzima danak i među najvećim svjetskim tvrtkama: div internetske trgovine Amazon ovog je tjedna postao prva javna tvrtka na svijetu koja je izgubila bilijun dolara tržišne vrijednosti. Pritom se taj drastični pad dogodio u svega 18 mjeseci.

Konkretno, nakon što su sredinom ovog tjedna dionice Amazona pale za dodatnih 4,3 posto, tržišna vrijednost kompanije smanjila se na 879 milijardi dolara, što je za preko bilijun dolara manje od tržišnog vrhunca od 1,88 bilijuna dolara, koliko je tvrtka vrijedila lani u srpnju.

Time je Amazon u godinu i pol izgubio više od polovine svoje tržišne vrijednosti. Zapravo, taj 50-postotni pad odvio se u manje od godinu dana: dok je 19. studenoga prošle godine dionica Amazona vrijedila 3843 dolara, početkom ovog mjeseca pala je na 1909 dolara, a sada je još i manja.

Kako navodi Bloomberg, tržišni pad Amazona posljedica je kombinacije više faktora – od rastuće inflacije, preko pooštravanja monetarne politike do slabijih poslovnih rezultata – što je dovelo do ovogodišnje povijesne rasprodaje dionica tvrtke, čime je i bogatstvo Amazonova vlasnika Jeffa Bezosa smanjeno za 83 milijarde dolara, odnosno palo na „svega” 109 milijardi.

‘Budžeti kupaca su smanjeni‘

Među ostalim, na poslovanje Amazona odrazila se činjenica da su se kupci vratili potrošačkim navikama iz vremena prije pandemije, što znači da češće odlaze u fizičke trgovine, a manje kupuju online.

Osim toga, inflacija slabi potražnju za Amazonovim proizvodima, dok troškovi skladištenja, pakiranja i transporta proizvoda rastu, kao što rastu i kamatne stope, što se također negativno odražava na bilancu tvrtke.

U listopadu je Amazon projicirao najsporiji rast prihoda za blagdansko tromjesečje u povijesti tvrtke, prije svega zato što u uvjetima ekonomske neizvjesnosti kupci smanjuju potrošnju.

‒ Posvuda vidimo znakove da su budžeti kupaca smanjeni. Inflacija je još uvijek visoka, a troškovi energije uzrokuju dodatne probleme. Pripremamo se za razdoblje sporijeg rasta, poput većine tvrtki ‒ rekao je krajem listopada financijski direktor Amazona Brian Olsavsky.

No Amazon nije jedina velika tehnološka kompanija koja bilježi ovako radikalne gubitke. Za petama mu je slavni Microsoft, koji je u godinu dana, od prošlog studenoga, izgubio 889 milijardi dolara tržišne vrijednosti.

Zapravo je poharan čitav tehnološki sektor, čije dionice padaju već godinu dana

„Cijela je ova godina obilježena padom dionica tehnoloških tvrtki, a strahovi od recesije dodatno su prigušili raspoloženje nekad najbogatijeg sektora. Pet najvećih američkih tehnoloških kompanija doživjelo je ove godine pad tržišne vrijednosti od gotovo 4 bilijuna dolara”, piše Bloomberg.

Osim Amazona, u te „najveće gubitnike” spadaju i Apple, Microsoft, Tesla i Alphabet.
