Međunarodni monetarni fond poručio je središnjim bankama da "ostanu na liniji" u svojoj borbi protiv inflacije, unatoč upozorenju da će trećina globalne ekonomije sljedeće godine - biti u recesiji.

U svom polugodišnjem ažuriranju, MMF je naveo da "najgore tek dolazi". Upozorili su da je kombinacija rasta troškova života, ruske invazije na Ukrajinu i usporavanje Kine važan čimbenik iza novog smanjenja rasta.

Pierre-Olivier Gourinchas, MMF-ov ekonomski savjetnik, rekao je da "oluja dolazi", ali je inzistirao na tome da središnje banke moraju zadržati svoj "laserski fokus" na borbi protiv inflacije ili riskirati potrebu za još strožim djelovanjem, kasnije, ako se ukorijene pritisci na rast cijena, prenosi klix.ba.

Gourinchas je rekao da je MMF, kao i središnje banke, podcijenio snagu inflatornih pritisaka kada su se prvi put pojavili 2021. godine, ali je rekao da je došlo do "brzog i sinhroniziranog pooštravanja monetarnih uvjeta, uz snažnu aprecijaciju američkog dolara u odnosu na većinu drugih valuta".

SAD, EU i Velika Britanija izvijestili su da je inflacija dosegla razine kakve nisu iskusili od ranih 1980-ih, a Gourinchas je rekao da su se cjenovni pritisci pokazali "prilično tvrdoglavim".

"Rizik od pogrešne kalibracije monetarne, fiskalne ili financijske politike naglo je porastao u vrijeme kada svjetsko gospodarstvo ostaje povijesno krhko, a financijska tržišta pokazuju znakove stresa," kazao je Gourinchas.

MMF-ovi polugodišnji izgledi za svjetsku ekonomiju (WEO) procjenjuju da će globalni rast usporiti sa 6 posto u 2021. na 3,2 posto ove godine i 2,7 posto u 2023. godini. Predviđanje za 2022. godinu niže je za 0,4 postotna boda nego prije šest mjeseci, ali nepromijenjeno na ažuriranu prognozu napravljenu u srpnju.

Za 2023. godinu rast je smanjen za 0,9 bodova od aprilu i za 0,2 boda od srpnja. Izgledi za 2023. godine slabiji su za 143 zemlje – što predstavlja 92 posto globalne proizvodnje, nego što su bili prije šest mjeseci

Međunarodni monetarni fond poručio je središnjim bankama da "ostanu na liniji" u svojoj borbi protiv inflacije, unatoč upozorenju da će trećina globalne ekonomije sljedeće godine - biti u recesiji.

U svom polugodišnjem ažuriranju, MMF je naveo da "najgore tek dolazi". Upozorili su da je kombinacija rasta troškova života, ruske invazije na Ukrajinu i usporavanje Kine važan čimbenik iza novog smanjenja rasta.

Pierre-Olivier Gourinchas, MMF-ov ekonomski savjetnik, rekao je da "oluja dolazi", ali je inzistirao na tome da središnje banke moraju zadržati svoj "laserski fokus" na borbi protiv inflacije ili riskirati potrebu za još strožim djelovanjem, kasnije, ako se ukorijene pritisci na rast cijena, prenosi klix.ba.

Gourinchas je rekao da je MMF, kao i središnje banke, podcijenio snagu inflatornih pritisaka kada su se prvi put pojavili 2021. godine, ali je rekao da je došlo do "brzog i sinhroniziranog pooštravanja monetarnih uvjeta, uz snažnu aprecijaciju američkog dolara u odnosu na većinu drugih valuta".

SAD, EU i Velika Britanija izvijestili su da je inflacija dosegla razine kakve nisu iskusili od ranih 1980-ih, a Gourinchas je rekao da su se cjenovni pritisci pokazali "prilično tvrdoglavim".

"Rizik od pogrešne kalibracije monetarne, fiskalne ili financijske politike naglo je porastao u vrijeme kada svjetsko gospodarstvo ostaje povijesno krhko, a financijska tržišta pokazuju znakove stresa," kazao je Gourinchas.

MMF-ovi polugodišnji izgledi za svjetsku ekonomiju (WEO) procjenjuju da će globalni rast usporiti sa 6 posto u 2021. na 3,2 posto ove godine i 2,7 posto u 2023. godini. Predviđanje za 2022. godinu niže je za 0,4 postotna boda nego prije šest mjeseci, ali nepromijenjeno na ažuriranu prognozu napravljenu u srpnju.

Za 2023. godinu rast je smanjen za 0,9 bodova od aprilu i za 0,2 boda od srpnja. Izgledi za 2023. godine slabiji su za 143 zemlje – što predstavlja 92 posto globalne proizvodnje, nego što su bili prije šest mjeseci

Međunarodni monetarni fond poručio je središnjim bankama da "ostanu na liniji" u svojoj borbi protiv inflacije, unatoč upozorenju da će trećina globalne ekonomije sljedeće godine - biti u recesiji.

U svom polugodišnjem ažuriranju, MMF je naveo da "najgore tek dolazi". Upozorili su da je kombinacija rasta troškova života, ruske invazije na Ukrajinu i usporavanje Kine važan čimbenik iza novog smanjenja rasta.

Pierre-Olivier Gourinchas, MMF-ov ekonomski savjetnik, rekao je da "oluja dolazi", ali je inzistirao na tome da središnje banke moraju zadržati svoj "laserski fokus" na borbi protiv inflacije ili riskirati potrebu za još strožim djelovanjem, kasnije, ako se ukorijene pritisci na rast cijena, prenosi klix.ba.
