Planetarno popularna i poznata tenisačica, ali i spisateljica, danas inspirira žene i muškarce diljem svijeta. Njezina potresna priča dobro je poznata, a svoje životno iskustvo dijeli s pratiteljima kako bi im pomogla, inspirirala ih na borbu.

Jelenu Dokić, rođenu Osječanku koja od 11. godine živi u Melbournu, njezin otac prvi je put udario kad je imala šest godina, a idućih petnaestak, sve do 2002. kad je napustila obiteljski dom, svakodnevno je trpjela fizičko i psihičko nasilje. Otac ju je tukao, pljuvao, čupao joj kosu, nazivao je svakakvim pogrdnim imenima...

Uspjeh njezine biografije ‘Nesalomljiva‘ iz 2017. koja je najprodavanije štivo tog žanra u Australiji dobro je poznat. Na gotovo četiri stotine stranica Jelena bez ustezanja opisuje kako ju je pola njezina života otac sustavno zlostavljao.

No, Jelena se uspjela izgidnuti iz obiteljskog horora te danas otvoreno i često progovara o teškim danima koji su je svojedobno doveli na rub.

Proteklih je tjedana bila tu u Hrvatskoj, prvo u Osijeku, a potom je uživala na Hvaru gdje se - preporodila.

- Tvoji teški momenti i borbe te ne definiraju. Ne dopusti da ti se strah usadi u srce. Ne dopusti da ti teški trenutci oduzmu hrabrost... Budi ustrajan, ustani i milijun puta ako treba, ne gubi nadu, bori se... - napisala je uz fotografiju dok odmara u Dalmaciji.

Objavila je i video s Hvara uz Oliverovu pjesmu ‘Kad mi dođeš ti‘, a njezini su pratitelji na Instagramu ‘poludjeli‘ za Hrvatskom. Sudeći po fotografijama, boravak na Hvaru baš joj je lijepo ‘sjeo‘.

- Moja prošlost me više ne definira niti kontrolira - zaključila je.

Planetarno popularna i poznata tenisačica, ali i spisateljica, danas inspirira žene i muškarce diljem svijeta. Njezina potresna priča dobro je poznata, a svoje životno iskustvo dijeli s pratiteljima kako bi im pomogla, inspirirala ih na borbu.

No, Jelena se uspjela izgidnuti iz obiteljskog horora te danas otvoreno i često progovara o teškim danima koji su je svojedobno doveli na rub.

Proteklih je tjedana bila tu u Hrvatskoj, prvo u Osijeku, a potom je uživala na Hvaru gdje se - preporodila.

- Tvoji teški momenti i borbe te ne definiraju. Ne dopusti da ti se strah usadi u srce. Ne dopusti da ti teški trenutci oduzmu hrabrost... Budi ustrajan, ustani i milijun puta ako treba, ne gubi nadu, bori se... - napisala je uz fotografiju dok odmara u Dalmaciji.

Objavila je i video s Hvara uz Oliverovu pjesmu ‘Kad mi dođeš ti‘, a njezini su pratitelji na Instagramu ‘poludjeli‘ za Hrvatskom. Sudeći po fotografijama, boravak na Hvaru baš joj je lijepo ‘sjeo‘.

Planetarno popularna i poznata tenisačica, ali i spisateljica, danas inspirira žene i muškarce diljem svijeta. Njezina potresna priča dobro je poznata, a svoje životno iskustvo dijeli s pratiteljima kako bi im pomogla, inspirirala ih na borbu.

Jelenu Dokić, rođenu Osječanku koja od 11. godine živi u Melbournu, njezin otac prvi je put udario kad je imala šest godina, a idućih petnaestak, sve do 2002. kad je napustila obiteljski dom, svakodnevno je trpjela fizičko i psihičko nasilje. Otac ju je tukao, pljuvao, čupao joj kosu, nazivao je svakakvim pogrdnim imenima...

Uspjeh njezine biografije ‘Nesalomljiva‘ iz 2017. koja je najprodavanije štivo tog žanra u Australiji dobro je poznat. Na gotovo četiri stotine stranica Jelena bez ustezanja opisuje kako ju je pola njezina života otac sustavno zlostavljao.
