Iza nje su već dva nastupa na Olimpijskim igrama, prvo u Rio de Janeiru, a potom u Tokiju, na zadnjim, zbog koronavirusa godinu dana odgođenim Igrama.
Splitska gimnastičarka Ana Đerek sada lovi i treći nastup na Igrama u Parizu, no zbog svega što joj se dogodilo bit će to teže nego ikad.

---- Puno toga se dogodilo, operacija ruke, diplomirala sam, postala učiteljica, pa oporavak od operacije, terapija, trening.... - počela nam je svoju priču Ana.
Kada si operirala ruku?
- U rujnu prošle godine. Laički rečeno šivali smo tetivu, stavljali sidro, doktor Čičak me operirao. Nije strašno, ali po meni je to bila najkompliciranija operacija koju sam imala, koja traži dugi oporavak, šest mjeseci, a to je dosta. Za vratiti se u osnovne elemente, ali ide na bolje. Sad već treniram gimnastiku, to što radim sliči na gimnastički trening, ali još trebam vremena za trebam ući u formu.
Hoćeš li stići do Europskog prvenstva u Turskoj koje je tu, pred vratima, u prvoj polovici travnja?
- Iskreno nisam u nekoj dobroj poziciji, lagala bih kada bih rekla da je super, ali nisam ni u poziciji da otkažem. Doduše, tri tjedna u sportskom svijetu su jako kratki period. Ali idem, prijavila sam četiri sprave, nadam se da ću i pokazati četiri sprave. Da sam pesimist, odustala bih, ali pokušavam biti optimist, dat ću sve od sebe. Negdje treba krenuti, a onda, vidjet ću.
To je i prva stepenica prema Olimpijskim igrama?
- Imam iza sebe dva nastupa na Olimpijskim igrama, voljela bih i treći. Svjesna sam da mi šanse nisu prevelike, predolimpijska godina je u nas bitnija, ako se ove ne odradi sve idealno, dva natjecanja koja se gledaju bez greške, da se uopće uđe u igru, ništa od toga. Radi našeg sustava kvalifikacija nitko ne razmišlja o formi dogodine, kad već ove sve mora biti savršeno, da bi uopće išta imali. A s druge strane, Tokio je bio odgođen, sve je jako brzo došlo. Imam osjećaj da sam jučer bila u Tokiju, a Pariz je pred vratima. Imam i osjećaj kao da je svaki ciklus još teže, da treba skupiti dva boda više... Iz dosadašnjih sam nastupa naučila da trebam dati sve, sve, sve od sebe, pa što bude. Nemam nikakve računice, malo uštedjeti negdje, pokušati ovo ili ono. Sve od sebe, pa kako ispadne...
Kažeš da se gledaju dva natjecanja?
- Europsko i Svjetsko prvenstvo. Na Europskom se moraš plasirati za Svjetsko, onda za Olimpijske... Teško, ali da sad odustanem, bila bih sto posto nezadovoljna, zažalila bih. Idem to odraditi do kraja, pa ako i ne uspijem, lakše ću se oporaviti.
Dobra je stvar za tebe što si diplomirala. Radiš li?
- Diplomu sam ostavila skroz po strani, nisam još ušla u škole, držim repeticije. I to mi je OK, za pripremiti nastavu treba više, a terapije su mi oduzele pola života. Sad kad su četiri sprave, to su dva puna treninga, u dvorani provedem šest sati dnevno. Uz to, sat-dva terapije...

---Hoćeš li lako naći posao, kad gimnastiku ostaviš iza sebe?
- Nema baš puno mjesta, bit će teško... Ima nas puno. Sve skupa, učiteljski fakultet postoji i u Osijeku, Zagrebu, Rijeci, Zadru... Na godišnjoj nas bazi puno izađe, a sve je manje djece... Manje razreda, nije bajna situacija, ali osim medicine ne znam gdje je bajna. Očekujem biti na zamjenama dobrih 15 godina...
Aktivna si i na društvenim mrežama, imaš na Instagramu skoro 25 tisuća pratitelja, voliš to?
- Na Instagramu, imam super prijateljice koje imaju živaca snimati me i slikati kad imam neke suradnje i sponzorske stvari. Ja to volim, i uređivati videa i slikavati se. Nije mi to posao. Uživam i nađem neku žrtvu.
Znam i po tvojim starijim kolegicama, poput Tine Erceg, da vama gimnastičarkama nikad ništa nije teško?
- Sport te preodgoji. Da osjećam neku neugodu ne bih puno toga mogla raditi, na primjer stati na parter pred hrpom ljudi. Naša natjecanja se gledaju, gimnastika je slabo u Hrvatskoj praćena, ali za svjetskoj razini je jako popularna. Arene budu pune, znamo nekad i godinu ipo unaprijed da je rasprodano.
Trener je stalno isti?
- Da, Miro Končarević. Možda bih puno stvari u karijeri mijenjala, na momente i sport, ali trenera ne bih nikad, to znam - poručila je na kraju Ana.

Edukativna radionica projekta Glas zena u sportu.
U okviru kampanje Glas Zena u sportu, Komisija za ravnopravnost spolova u sportu Hrvatskog olimpijskog odbora HOO priredili su jednodnevne interaktivne radionice, namijenjene sportasicama, trenericama, sutkinjama i djelatnicama u sportskoj administraciji.
Domacin trecoj radionici je Visoka skola Aspira u Splitu.

Splitska gimnastičarka Ana Đerek sada lovi i treći nastup na Igrama u Parizu, no zbog svega što joj se dogodilo bit će to teže nego ikad.

---- Puno toga se dogodilo, operacija ruke, diplomirala sam, postala učiteljica, pa oporavak od operacije, terapija, trening.... - počela nam je svoju priču Ana.
Kada si operirala ruku?
- U rujnu prošle godine. Laički rečeno šivali smo tetivu, stavljali sidro, doktor Čičak me operirao. Nije strašno, ali po meni je to bila najkompliciranija operacija koju sam imala, koja traži dugi oporavak, šest mjeseci, a to je dosta. Za vratiti se u osnovne elemente, ali ide na bolje. Sad već treniram gimnastiku, to što radim sliči na gimnastički trening, ali još trebam vremena za trebam ući u formu.
Hoćeš li stići do Europskog prvenstva u Turskoj koje je tu, pred vratima, u prvoj polovici travnja?
- Iskreno nisam u nekoj dobroj poziciji, lagala bih kada bih rekla da je super, ali nisam ni u poziciji da otkažem. Doduše, tri tjedna u sportskom svijetu su jako kratki period. Ali idem, prijavila sam četiri sprave, nadam se da ću i pokazati četiri sprave. Da sam pesimist, odustala bih, ali pokušavam biti optimist, dat ću sve od sebe. Negdje treba krenuti, a onda, vidjet ću.
To je i prva stepenica prema Olimpijskim igrama?
- Imam iza sebe dva nastupa na Olimpijskim igrama, voljela bih i treći. Svjesna sam da mi šanse nisu prevelike, predolimpijska godina je u nas bitnija, ako se ove ne odradi sve idealno, dva natjecanja koja se gledaju bez greške, da se uopće uđe u igru, ništa od toga. Radi našeg sustava kvalifikacija nitko ne razmišlja o formi dogodine, kad već ove sve mora biti savršeno, da bi uopće išta imali. A s druge strane, Tokio je bio odgođen, sve je jako brzo došlo. Imam osjećaj da sam jučer bila u Tokiju, a Pariz je pred vratima. Imam i osjećaj kao da je svaki ciklus još teže, da treba skupiti dva boda više... Iz dosadašnjih sam nastupa naučila da trebam dati sve, sve, sve od sebe, pa što bude. Nemam nikakve računice, malo uštedjeti negdje, pokušati ovo ili ono. Sve od sebe, pa kako ispadne...
Kažeš da se gledaju dva natjecanja?
- Europsko i Svjetsko prvenstvo. Na Europskom se moraš plasirati za Svjetsko, onda za Olimpijske... Teško, ali da sad odustanem, bila bih sto posto nezadovoljna, zažalila bih. Idem to odraditi do kraja, pa ako i ne uspijem, lakše ću se oporaviti.
Dobra je stvar za tebe što si diplomirala. Radiš li?
- Diplomu sam ostavila skroz po strani, nisam još ušla u škole, držim repeticije. I to mi je OK, za pripremiti nastavu treba više, a terapije su mi oduzele pola života. Sad kad su četiri sprave, to su dva puna treninga, u dvorani provedem šest sati dnevno. Uz to, sat-dva terapije...

---Hoćeš li lako naći posao, kad gimnastiku ostaviš iza sebe?
- Nema baš puno mjesta, bit će teško... Ima nas puno. Sve skupa, učiteljski fakultet postoji i u Osijeku, Zagrebu, Rijeci, Zadru... Na godišnjoj nas bazi puno izađe, a sve je manje djece... Manje razreda, nije bajna situacija, ali osim medicine ne znam gdje je bajna. Očekujem biti na zamjenama dobrih 15 godina...
Aktivna si i na društvenim mrežama, imaš na Instagramu skoro 25 tisuća pratitelja, voliš to?
- Na Instagramu, imam super prijateljice koje imaju živaca snimati me i slikati kad imam neke suradnje i sponzorske stvari. Ja to volim, i uređivati videa i slikavati se. Nije mi to posao. Uživam i nađem neku žrtvu.
Znam i po tvojim starijim kolegicama, poput Tine Erceg, da vama gimnastičarkama nikad ništa nije teško?
- Sport te preodgoji. Da osjećam neku neugodu ne bih puno toga mogla raditi, na primjer stati na parter pred hrpom ljudi. Naša natjecanja se gledaju, gimnastika je slabo u Hrvatskoj praćena, ali za svjetskoj razini je jako popularna. Arene budu pune, znamo nekad i godinu ipo unaprijed da je rasprodano.
Trener je stalno isti?
- Da, Miro Končarević. Možda bih puno stvari u karijeri mijenjala, na momente i sport, ali trenera ne bih nikad, to znam - poručila je na kraju Ana.
