- Gledali smo u srijedu na televiziji prijenos prve utakmice finala iz Dubrovnika, a gledat ćemo i ove subote drugu utakmicu finalne serije iz Zagreba, kao i sve, koliko ih god još bude, a ja sam uvjeren kako će ih biti više od tri. Sa svojom momčadi u Rusiji, to je druga momčad Sintez Kazana, počeo sam pripreme za novu sezonu, započeo je bivši igrač naših najboljih momčadi svoju priču.
- Prošla sezona je prekinuta zbog korona virusa i nije nastavljena. U našoj oblasti, Tatarstanu, gdje je Kazanj, dosta manje je zaraženih. Najgora je situacija u Moskvi te St. Petersburgu. Uglavnom, na okupu smo, treniramo, te ćemo nakon poslijepodnevnog treninga sjesti opet ispred televizije. Mi u Rusiji imamo dodatni razlog pratiti finale prvenstva Hrvatske jer u njemu nastupaju dva reprezentativca Rusije u finalu, Merkulov igra za Juga, a Kharkov za Mladost – govori Andrej Belofastov, nekadašnji trofejni igrač zagrebačke Mladosti, ali i Juga. Dvije godine je proveo u kapici 'Žabaca' (1992.-1994.), a jednu u kapici Juga (2000./01.).
- Tri godine sam bio u Dubrovniku. Dvije sezone sam prvo igrao za Dubrovnik, a potom sezonu za Jug. Pamtim tu sezonu u Jugu jer smo uzeli sva tri trofeja, Kup Hrvatske, prvenstvo Hrvatske te naslov prvaka Europe, a dva najvrjednija trofeja se ne zaboravljaju zbog fantastične atmosfere koja je vladala u to vrijeme u Gružu, pogotovo ona za vrijeme Final foura europske Lige prvaka.
Kup Hrvatske i prvenstvo Hrvatske Belofastov je s Jugom uzeo pobijedivši u finalu Mladost.
- Da, a dok sam s Mladosti trofeje osvajao preko Juga – naglasio je Belofastov, koji je nakon igračke karijere, koju je zaključio 2011., nek se zna kako ima hrvatsku putovnicu te kako je 1995. nastupao za reprezentaciju Hrvatske na EP-u u Beču (1992. sa ZND-om je u Barceloni osvojio broncu), počeo trenersku. Danas je i na klupi ženske reprezentacije Rusije (olimpijska bronca u Riju 2016.), a ne samo s drugom ekipom aktualnog prvaka Rusije, Sintez Kazana, koja također igra u najvećem rangu.
- Neki od mojih igrača su prije dvije godine bili na Savi i u Gružu kad smo se pripremali s Mladosti te s Jugom, te su vidjeli na zidovima i moje fotografije kad sam s dva najveća hrvatska kluba osvajao trofeje. Tako da znaju kako sam igrao za oba kluba.
Jug je dobio prvu utakmicu finala na tri pobjede. Sačuvao prednost domaćeg terena. Što je gledajući televizijski prijenos vidio nekadašnji igrač Mladosti i Juga?
- Prvo moram reći kako je sad pritisak na Mladosti jer ako Jug povede 2:0, teško se to može stići. Prvu utakmicu finala? Nju ne mogu gledati bez finala Regionalne lige, koje je odigrano tri dana prije, a u kojem je Mladost zasluženo osvojila naslov. Jug je nakon tog šoka, neuspjeha, odlično počeo tri dana poslije tu prvu utakmicu finalne serije za prvaka Hrvatske, ali opet pao u nastavku. Mladost je i u toj utakmici pokazala kako ima dužu klupu, koja može diktirati visoki tempo igre, te kako je iskusnija. Pazite, ostala je bez sjajnog Ćuka kad je gubila pet razlike, a otpao joj je jpš jedan odličan igrač, Radu, i to kad je Jug vodio s četiri razlike početkom treće četvrtine. Kharkov igra vrhunski, Ćuk je bio fantastičan u finalu Regionalne lige. Josip Vrlić i Cosmin Radu su odlični u dva metra. Koliko je samo Vrlić zaradio igrača više za Mladost. S druge strane Benić je odigrao sjajno poluvrijeme u subotu, Fatović pak finale Regionalne lige. Osjeća se umor kod Garcije, ali on je mozak dubrovačke ekipe. Svojim velikim iskustvom zna što i kako napraviti za ostvariti uspjeh. Naglašavam svojim igračima kad govorimo o finalu prvenstva Hrvatske, Jug i Mladost su dvije vrhunske momčadi. Obje su kvalitetne, i teško je reći: 'Vrlić i Radu su bolji' jer već u idućoj utakmici Lončar i Lozina mogu biti i bolji od njih. Znam da Merkulov može bolje, kao i još dosta igrača s jedne i druge strane, te ne mogu reći, Jug ima bolje igrače na toj i toj poziciji od Mladosti, ili Mladost ima bolje igrače na toj i toj poziciji, kad obje momčadi, naglašavam, imaju na svakoj poziciji kvalitetu. Zbog toga i gledamo finale prvenstva Hrvatske. Ne gledamo jer je to jedino sad prvenstvo, koje se igra u svijetu. Glavni razlog zbog čega ni mi u Rusiji ne želimo propustiti pogledati oglede Mladosti i Juga jest što su to dvije velike momčadi – podvukao je 51-godišnji Belofastov uz dodatak:
- Nemoj me pitati tko će pobijediti, jer što god rečem, odmah će me zvati oni drugi te ću imati problema.

- Gledali smo u srijedu na televiziji prijenos prve utakmice finala iz Dubrovnika, a gledat ćemo i ove subote drugu utakmicu finalne serije iz Zagreba, kao i sve, koliko ih god još bude, a ja sam uvjeren kako će ih biti više od tri. Sa svojom momčadi u Rusiji, to je druga momčad Sintez Kazana, počeo sam pripreme za novu sezonu, započeo je bivši igrač naših najboljih momčadi svoju priču.
- Prošla sezona je prekinuta zbog korona virusa i nije nastavljena. U našoj oblasti, Tatarstanu, gdje je Kazanj, dosta manje je zaraženih. Najgora je situacija u Moskvi te St. Petersburgu. Uglavnom, na okupu smo, treniramo, te ćemo nakon poslijepodnevnog treninga sjesti opet ispred televizije. Mi u Rusiji imamo dodatni razlog pratiti finale prvenstva Hrvatske jer u njemu nastupaju dva reprezentativca Rusije u finalu, Merkulov igra za Juga, a Kharkov za Mladost – govori Andrej Belofastov, nekadašnji trofejni igrač zagrebačke Mladosti, ali i Juga. Dvije godine je proveo u kapici 'Žabaca' (1992.-1994.), a jednu u kapici Juga (2000./01.).
- Tri godine sam bio u Dubrovniku. Dvije sezone sam prvo igrao za Dubrovnik, a potom sezonu za Jug. Pamtim tu sezonu u Jugu jer smo uzeli sva tri trofeja, Kup Hrvatske, prvenstvo Hrvatske te naslov prvaka Europe, a dva najvrjednija trofeja se ne zaboravljaju zbog fantastične atmosfere koja je vladala u to vrijeme u Gružu, pogotovo ona za vrijeme Final foura europske Lige prvaka.
Kup Hrvatske i prvenstvo Hrvatske Belofastov je s Jugom uzeo pobijedivši u finalu Mladost.
- Da, a dok sam s Mladosti trofeje osvajao preko Juga – naglasio je Belofastov, koji je nakon igračke karijere, koju je zaključio 2011., nek se zna kako ima hrvatsku putovnicu te kako je 1995. nastupao za reprezentaciju Hrvatske na EP-u u Beču (1992. sa ZND-om je u Barceloni osvojio broncu), počeo trenersku. Danas je i na klupi ženske reprezentacije Rusije (olimpijska bronca u Riju 2016.), a ne samo s drugom ekipom aktualnog prvaka Rusije, Sintez Kazana, koja također igra u najvećem rangu.
- Neki od mojih igrača su prije dvije godine bili na Savi i u Gružu kad smo se pripremali s Mladosti te s Jugom, te su vidjeli na zidovima i moje fotografije kad sam s dva najveća hrvatska kluba osvajao trofeje. Tako da znaju kako sam igrao za oba kluba.
Jug je dobio prvu utakmicu finala na tri pobjede. Sačuvao prednost domaćeg terena. Što je gledajući televizijski prijenos vidio nekadašnji igrač Mladosti i Juga?
- Prvo moram reći kako je sad pritisak na Mladosti jer ako Jug povede 2:0, teško se to može stići. Prvu utakmicu finala? Nju ne mogu gledati bez finala Regionalne lige, koje je odigrano tri dana prije, a u kojem je Mladost zasluženo osvojila naslov. Jug je nakon tog šoka, neuspjeha, odlično počeo tri dana poslije tu prvu utakmicu finalne serije za prvaka Hrvatske, ali opet pao u nastavku. Mladost je i u toj utakmici pokazala kako ima dužu klupu, koja može diktirati visoki tempo igre, te kako je iskusnija. Pazite, ostala je bez sjajnog Ćuka kad je gubila pet razlike, a otpao joj je jpš jedan odličan igrač, Radu, i to kad je Jug vodio s četiri razlike početkom treće četvrtine. Kharkov igra vrhunski, Ćuk je bio fantastičan u finalu Regionalne lige. Josip Vrlić i Cosmin Radu su odlični u dva metra. Koliko je samo Vrlić zaradio igrača više za Mladost. S druge strane Benić je odigrao sjajno poluvrijeme u subotu, Fatović pak finale Regionalne lige. Osjeća se umor kod Garcije, ali on je mozak dubrovačke ekipe. Svojim velikim iskustvom zna što i kako napraviti za ostvariti uspjeh. Naglašavam svojim igračima kad govorimo o finalu prvenstva Hrvatske, Jug i Mladost su dvije vrhunske momčadi. Obje su kvalitetne, i teško je reći: 'Vrlić i Radu su bolji' jer već u idućoj utakmici Lončar i Lozina mogu biti i bolji od njih. Znam da Merkulov može bolje, kao i još dosta igrača s jedne i druge strane, te ne mogu reći, Jug ima bolje igrače na toj i toj poziciji od Mladosti, ili Mladost ima bolje igrače na toj i toj poziciji, kad obje momčadi, naglašavam, imaju na svakoj poziciji kvalitetu. Zbog toga i gledamo finale prvenstva Hrvatske. Ne gledamo jer je to jedino sad prvenstvo, koje se igra u svijetu. Glavni razlog zbog čega ni mi u Rusiji ne želimo propustiti pogledati oglede Mladosti i Juga jest što su to dvije velike momčadi – podvukao je 51-godišnji Belofastov uz dodatak:
- Nemoj me pitati tko će pobijediti, jer što god rečem, odmah će me zvati oni drugi te ću imati problema.
