Dok drugi usavršavaju posljednje taktičke finese, izbornika hrvatske ženske reprezentacije Aljošu Kunca muče nove brige. Naime, koronavirus se ušuljao među Barakudice i izbacio dvije važne igračice iz stroja! Natasha Trojan i Ana Miroslavić dobile su pozitivan nalaz i žurno su morale u izolaciju.

- Burno su nam protekli posljednji dani priprema. Korona nam je, nažalost, pokucala na vrata – govorio je Kunac na konferenciji za medije uoči početka splitskog Eura.

Umjesto njih, izbornik je pozvao vratarku šibenske Vitorije Andreu Marić i Ninu Eterović iz splitskog POŠK-a 1937 koja igra na poziciji beka. Nije lako uoči otvaranja izgubiti jednu od vratarki i u zadnji čas prekrajati roster. No, Kunac je napravio što je morao. Ostale igračice su zdrave i spremne za današnje otvaranje protiv Nizozemske u 17.30.

- Dugo smo čekali neke naše mlade igračice, tako da smo prave pripreme, svi zajedno, imali tek u zadnjih 10-15 dana. Nekad i to zna biti dovoljno za dobar rezultat. Previše treninga može na koncu loše utjecati na svježinu.

Znaju što treba

Barakudice su u skupini A s Njemačkom, Mađarskom, Grčkom, Nizozemskom i Rumunjskom.

- Najviše šanse vidimo u susretima protiv Rumunjske i Njemačke. Oni će za nas biti ključni i tu idemo na pobjedu. Naravno, ne odustajemo ni od ostalih. Dat ćemo sve od sebe, potruditi se da pariramo što je bolje moguće.

Kunac itekako zna kako se osvajaju medalje. Pamtimo njegovo zlato s reprezentacijom iz igračkih dana. Na krov svijeta s Hrvatskom se popeo 2007. godine u Melbourneu.

Društvo mu je na druženju s medijima pravila i kapetanica Ivana Butić. Jedna je to od četiri sestre Butić koje su se našle na konačnom popisu za Europsko prvenstvo.

- Nas sedmero u obitelji igramo vaterpolo (tri brata, op. a.). Taman za jednu ekipu, haha. Ali nemamo vratarku. Slažem se da najveću šansu imamo protiv Rumunjske i Njemačke. S ostalima moramo odigrati što pametnije. Ali te dvije utakmice će biti ključne za naš prolazak među osam najboljih.

Teško s ostalima

Teško će biti protiv ostalih, pogotovo s Nizozemkama. No, stvari u hrvatskom ženskom vaterpolu kreću na bolje. Potvrdio je to Kunac i u razgovoru s kolegom Perom Smolčićem.

- Gol razlika se smanjuje, ali nismo još blizu Italije, Španjolske, Mađarske, Grčke... I Nizozemska je tu. Za njima dosta kaskamo.

I za njega je ovo nova uloga koju obnaša od nedavno.

- Nema ni mjesec dana otkako sam postao izbornik. Sve mi je to malo brzo došlo, ali što je, tu je. Spremni smo i željni igre. Odlučili smo pokazati što smo radili i koliko smo trenirali. Cilj je da pokušamo te važne utakmice okončati u našu korist. Nadam se kako će i publika cijeniti njihov napor i trud – govorio je Kunac.

Dok drugi usavršavaju posljednje taktičke finese, izbornika hrvatske ženske reprezentacije Aljošu Kunca muče nove brige. Naime, koronavirus se ušuljao među Barakudice i izbacio dvije važne igračice iz stroja! Natasha Trojan i Ana Miroslavić dobile su pozitivan nalaz i žurno su morale u izolaciju.

- Burno su nam protekli posljednji dani priprema. Korona nam je, nažalost, pokucala na vrata – govorio je Kunac na konferenciji za medije uoči početka splitskog Eura.

Umjesto njih, izbornik je pozvao vratarku šibenske Vitorije Andreu Marić i Ninu Eterović iz splitskog POŠK-a 1937 koja igra na poziciji beka. Nije lako uoči otvaranja izgubiti jednu od vratarki i u zadnji čas prekrajati roster. No, Kunac je napravio što je morao. Ostale igračice su zdrave i spremne za današnje otvaranje protiv Nizozemske u 17.30.

- Dugo smo čekali neke naše mlade igračice, tako da smo prave pripreme, svi zajedno, imali tek u zadnjih 10-15 dana. Nekad i to zna biti dovoljno za dobar rezultat. Previše treninga može na koncu loše utjecati na svježinu.

Znaju što treba

Barakudice su u skupini A s Njemačkom, Mađarskom, Grčkom, Nizozemskom i Rumunjskom.

- Najviše šanse vidimo u susretima protiv Rumunjske i Njemačke. Oni će za nas biti ključni i tu idemo na pobjedu. Naravno, ne odustajemo ni od ostalih. Dat ćemo sve od sebe, potruditi se da pariramo što je bolje moguće.

Kunac itekako zna kako se osvajaju medalje. Pamtimo njegovo zlato s reprezentacijom iz igračkih dana. Na krov svijeta s Hrvatskom se popeo 2007. godine u Melbourneu.

Društvo mu je na druženju s medijima pravila i kapetanica Ivana Butić. Jedna je to od četiri sestre Butić koje su se našle na konačnom popisu za Europsko prvenstvo.

- Nas sedmero u obitelji igramo vaterpolo (tri brata, op. a.). Taman za jednu ekipu, haha. Ali nemamo vratarku. Slažem se da najveću šansu imamo protiv Rumunjske i Njemačke. S ostalima moramo odigrati što pametnije. Ali te dvije utakmice će biti ključne za naš prolazak među osam najboljih.

Teško s ostalima

Teško će biti protiv ostalih, pogotovo s Nizozemkama. No, stvari u hrvatskom ženskom vaterpolu kreću na bolje. Potvrdio je to Kunac i u razgovoru s kolegom Perom Smolčićem.

- Gol razlika se smanjuje, ali nismo još blizu Italije, Španjolske, Mađarske, Grčke... I Nizozemska je tu. Za njima dosta kaskamo.

I za njega je ovo nova uloga koju obnaša od nedavno.

- Nema ni mjesec dana otkako sam postao izbornik. Sve mi je to malo brzo došlo, ali što je, tu je. Spremni smo i željni igre. Odlučili smo pokazati što smo radili i koliko smo trenirali. Cilj je da pokušamo te važne utakmice okončati u našu korist. Nadam se kako će i publika cijeniti njihov napor i trud – govorio je Kunac.

Aljoša Kunac: Korona nam je izbacila dvije igračice, ali ne posustajemo

Dok drugi usavršavaju posljednje taktičke finese, izbornika hrvatske ženske reprezentacije Aljošu Kunca muče nove brige. Naime, koronavirus se ušuljao među Barakudice i izbacio dvije važne igračice iz stroja! Natasha Trojan i Ana Miroslavić dobile su pozitivan nalaz i žurno su morale u izolaciju.

- Burno su nam protekli posljednji dani priprema. Korona nam je, nažalost, pokucala na vrata – govorio je Kunac na konferenciji za medije uoči početka splitskog Eura.

Umjesto njih, izbornik je pozvao vratarku šibenske Vitorije Andreu Marić i Ninu Eterović iz splitskog POŠK-a 1937 koja igra na poziciji beka. Nije lako uoči otvaranja izgubiti jednu od vratarki i u zadnji čas prekrajati roster. No, Kunac je napravio što je morao. Ostale igračice su zdrave i spremne za današnje otvara...
