Tenisu se vratila Japanka Naomi Osaka, nekada najbolja svjetska tenisačica i to nakon što je stanku uzela tijekom posljednja četiri mjeseca.

Osaka nastupa i prva je nositeljica na WTA turniru u Melbourneu gdje je na premijeri svladala Francuskinju Alize Cornet. Put do pobjede nije bio ugodan, Japanka je slavila u tri seta 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.

„Nisam ni očekivala da ću igrati puno bolje. Bila sam nervozna pa je i logično da sam griješila više nego inače. No, probila sam led, važan je povratak u svemu i moram priznati da je lijepo opet igrati tenis, igrati pred gledateljima“, rekla je nakon slavlja trenutačno 13. igračica na svijetu koja je posljednji meč odigrala na prošlogodišnjem US Openu. Potom je uzela stanku jer se, kako je sama navela „psihički nije osjećala dobro“.

Osaka time nastavlja pripremu za dolazak na Australian Open gdje je tijekom karijere slavila dva puta (2019. i 2021. godine). Od Grand Slam naslova ima još dva iz New Yorka, s US Opena ((2018. i 2020. godine).

U 2. kolu turnira u Melbourneu će igrati protiv Maryne Zanevske koja je na startu bila bolja od Hrvatice Petre Martić sa 6-3, 6-4.

Tenisu se vratila Japanka Naomi Osaka, nekada najbolja svjetska tenisačica i to nakon što je stanku uzela tijekom posljednja četiri mjeseca.

Osaka nastupa i prva je nositeljica na WTA turniru u Melbourneu gdje je na premijeri svladala Francuskinju Alize Cornet. Put do pobjede nije bio ugodan, Japanka je slavila u tri seta 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.

„Nisam ni očekivala da ću igrati puno bolje. Bila sam nervozna pa je i logično da sam griješila više nego inače. No, probila sam led, važan je povratak u svemu i moram priznati da je lijepo opet igrati tenis, igrati pred gledateljima“, rekla je nakon slavlja trenutačno 13. igračica na svijetu koja je posljednji meč odigrala na prošlogodišnjem US Openu. Potom je uzela stanku jer se, kako je sama navela „psihički nije osjećala dobro“.

Osaka time nastavlja pripremu za dolazak na Australian Open gdje je tijekom karijere slavila dva puta (2019. i 2021. godine). Od Grand Slam naslova ima još dva iz New Yorka, s US Opena ((2018. i 2020. godine).

U 2. kolu turnira u Melbourneu će igrati protiv Maryne Zanevske koja je na startu bila bolja od Hrvatice Petre Martić sa 6-3, 6-4.

Psihički se nije osjećala dobro: nakon četiri mjeseca stanke vratila se bivša najbolja svjetska tenisačica

Tenisu se vratila Japanka Naomi Osaka, nekada najbolja svjetska tenisačica i to nakon što je stanku uzela tijekom posljednja četiri mjeseca.

Osaka nastupa i prva je nositeljica na WTA turniru u Melbourneu gdje je na premijeri svladala Francuskinju Alize Cornet. Put do pobjede nije bio ugodan, Japanka je slavila u tri seta 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.

„Nisam ni očekivala da ću igrati puno bolje. Bila sam nervozna pa je i logično da sam griješila više nego inače. No, probila sam led, važan je povratak u svemu i moram priznati da je lijepo opet igrati tenis, igrati pred gledateljima“, rekla je nakon slavlja trenutačno 13. igračica na svijetu koja je posljednji meč odigrala na prošlogodišnjem US Openu. Potom je uzela stanku jer se, kako je sama navela „psihički nije osjećala dobro“....
