Tena Lukas jedna je od onih koje čekamo da bljesnu. I da taj bljesak po mogućnosti potraje. Protekli mjesec za nju je bio na tom tragu, osvojila je čak tri turnira nagradnog fonda 25.000 dolara i na renkingu uživo trenutno je oko 270. mjesta. Pišemo oko, jer živa je to materija, stalno netko nekoga preskoči, no Tena se lansirala u top 300 i sada na horizontu već vidi mjesta koja vode u kvalifikacije Grand Slam turnira, a u kolovozu je gotovo ispala iz top 400. Da se domogne Grand Slam kvalifikacija trebat će se spustiti, odnosno napredovati još nekoliko desetaka pozicija, ali situacija za ovu Kaštelanku kojoj je dosadašnji najbolji renking 241. mjesto sada izgleda kudikamo bolje.

Kaštelanka je do zadnjeg, osmog pojedinačnog naslova na ITF turnirima stigla na zemljanoj podlozi Santa Margherite Di Pule nakon što je u finalu sa 6:4, 6:3 pobijedila Brazilku Teliane Pereiru (487.). Nakon vodstva Brazilke od 4:3 Tena je osvojila pet uzastopnih gemova, uzela prvi set i u drugom povela 2:0 te je zadržala prednost do kraja. Prethodno je slavila u Beču i Podgorici.

Prava bi priča bila kada bi Tena do početka ljeta uspjela napredovati do pozicije koja bi joj zajamčila da bude nositeljica na WTA turniru u Bolu kojemu je direktor njezin brat Feliks Lukas.

Tena Lukas jedna je od onih koje čekamo da bljesnu. I da taj bljesak po mogućnosti potraje. Protekli mjesec za nju je bio na tom tragu, osvojila je čak tri turnira nagradnog fonda 25.000 dolara i na renkingu uživo trenutno je oko 270. mjesta. Pišemo oko, jer živa je to materija, stalno netko nekoga preskoči, no Tena se lansirala u top 300 i sada na horizontu već vidi mjesta koja vode u kvalifikacije Grand Slam turnira, a u kolovozu je gotovo ispala iz top 400. Da se domogne Grand Slam kvalifikacija trebat će se spustiti, odnosno napredovati još nekoliko desetaka pozicija, ali situacija za ovu Kaštelanku kojoj je dosadašnji najbolji renking 241. mjesto sada izgleda kudikamo bolje.

Kaštelanka je do zadnjeg, osmog pojedinačnog naslova na ITF turnirima stigla na zemljanoj podlozi Santa Margherite Di Pule nakon što je u finalu sa 6:4, 6:3 pobijedila Brazilku Teliane Pereiru (487.). Nakon vodstva Brazilke od 4:3 Tena je osvojila pet uzastopnih gemova, uzela prvi set i u drugom povela 2:0 te je zadržala prednost do kraja. Prethodno je slavila u Beču i Podgorici.

Prava bi priča bila kada bi Tena do početka ljeta uspjela napredovati do pozicije koja bi joj zajamčila da bude nositeljica na WTA turniru u Bolu kojemu je direktor njezin brat Feliks Lukas.
