Najbolji japanski tenisač Kei Nishikori objavio je kako je odustao od nastupa na US Openu koji počinje u ponedjeljak u New Yorku iako se oporavio od koronavirusa.

- Sretan sam što mogu objaviti kako je moj test na COVID bio negativan. Ipak, sa svojim sam timom odlučio preskočiti ovogodišnji US Open. Osjećam kako ne bi bilo pametno vratiti se tenisu nakon tako duge stanke igranjem mečeva na tri dobivena seta. Vratit ću se na turnirima na zemlji - objavio je Nishikori.

Nishikori je početkom ovoga mjeseca na dva testiranja bio pozitivan na virus COVID-19. Nishikori je najveći rezultat u karijeri ostvario upravo na US Openu na kojemu je 2014. godine stigao do finala u kojemu ga je svladao Marin Čilić.

Najbolji japanski tenisač Kei Nishikori objavio je kako je odustao od nastupa na US Openu koji počinje u ponedjeljak u New Yorku iako se oporavio od koronavirusa.

- Sretan sam što mogu objaviti kako je moj test na COVID bio negativan. Ipak, sa svojim sam timom odlučio preskočiti ovogodišnji US Open. Osjećam kako ne bi bilo pametno vratiti se tenisu nakon tako duge stanke igranjem mečeva na tri dobivena seta. Vratit ću se na turnirima na zemlji - objavio je Nishikori.

Nishikori je početkom ovoga mjeseca na dva testiranja bio pozitivan na virus COVID-19. Nishikori je najveći rezultat u karijeri ostvario upravo na US Openu na kojemu je 2014. godine stigao do finala u kojemu ga je svladao Marin Čilić.

Najbolji japanski tenisač Kei Nishikori objavio je kako je odustao od nastupa na US Openu koji počinje u ponedjeljak u New Yorku iako se oporavio od koronavirusa.

Osjećam kako ne bi bilo pametno vratiti se tenisu nakon tako duge stanke igranjem mečeva na tri dobivena seta. Vratit ću se na turnirima na zemlji - objavio je Nishikori.

Nishikori je početkom ovoga mjeseca na dva testiranja bio pozitivan na virus COVID-19. Nishikori je najveći rezultat u karijeri ostvario upravo na US Openu na kojemu je 2014. godine stigao do finala u kojemu ga je svladao Marin Čilić.
