Novak Đoković je osvajanjem Roland Garrosa stigao na vrh vječne liste s najviše osvojenih Grand Slam turnira. Srpski tenisač ih sada ima 23, a za njegov uspjeh je zaslužan i Nikola Pilić.

Hrvatskom treneru Đoković je, kao i Jeleni Genčić, zahvalio nakon osvajanja Roland Garrosa, a Pilić je za srpski Kurir odgovorio na pitanje je li predosjećao da Đoković može postati najbolji u povijesti ovog sporta.

- Nisam. Ali bio sam uvjeren da će biti dobar igrač. Moj posao kao trenera i bivšeg tenisača je kao da vadite dijamante iz rudnika, i onda vam dođe malo drugačiji dijamant, najčišći. Takav je bio Novak. On je za mene bio idealna mogućnost za vrhunsko brušenje - rekao je Pilić i dodao:

- Kad ste trener, igračima dajete puno, a obično dobijete malo. Od Novaka sam dobivao baš puno. Moja supruga mi jednom rekla: "Ovaj mali, kad govori nešto o tenisu, rečenice su mu slične tvojima". Imao je tada 13 godina.

Pilić je komentirao i izjavu Matsa Wilandera koji je rekao da bi Đoković mogao doći do 25 ili 26 Grand Slam turnira.

- Ma pustite Wilandera, on je kreten koji je pričao svašta, a sad je promijenio ploču. Što se Novaka tiče, samo neka mu Bog da zdravlja. Svi tenisači iz vrha su Spartanci, možda je Novak ekstreman po tom pitanju. Mene nisu interesirala imena, nego brojke, a Novakove brojke kažu da je najbolji u povijesti. Ljubimci zapadnih medija su bili Nadal i Federer, a onda dođe neko iz male zemlje i poremeti im račune. Trebalo ga je kazniti, napraviti od njega ono što su pokušali u Australiji, ali talent i želja su pobijedili i sada nitko ne može da kaže da nije najbolji u povijesti.

Nikola Pilić je vodio Đokovića dok je Srbin bio mladi igrač, a sada mu je trener Goran Ivanišević. Njih dvojica imaju specifičan odnos, a novinare Kurira je zanimalo što Pilić misli o pomalo grubim reakcijama koje Đoković ponekad ima prema svojem trenerskom stožeru.

- To su emocionalni momenti, potreban je neki ispušni ventil, nema nikakve veze jer kasnije u svlačionici sve izglade. Goran je 2000. došao kod mene s viškom kilograma, Novak je imao 14 godina. Goran i ja smo igrali dva sata. Kažem mu: "Daj udari pet minuta s malim". Igrali su 23 minute, Novak nijednu loptu nije pogodio u mrežu. Gledao je u Gorana kao u idola - prisjetio se Pilić.

Novak Đoković je osvajanjem Roland Garrosa stigao na vrh vječne liste s najviše osvojenih Grand Slam turnira. Srpski tenisač ih sada ima 23, a za njegov uspjeh je zaslužan i Nikola Pilić.

Hrvatskom treneru Đoković je, kao i Jeleni Genčić, zahvalio nakon osvajanja Roland Garrosa, a Pilić je za srpski Kurir odgovorio na pitanje je li predosjećao da Đoković može postati najbolji u povijesti ovog sporta.

- Nisam. Ali bio sam uvjeren da će biti dobar igrač. Moj posao kao trenera i bivšeg tenisača je kao da vadite dijamante iz rudnika, i onda vam dođe malo drugačiji dijamant, najčišći. Takav je bio Novak. On je za mene bio idealna mogućnost za vrhunsko brušenje - rekao je Pilić i dodao:

- Kad ste trener, igračima dajete puno, a obično dobijete malo. Od Novaka sam dobivao baš puno. Moja supruga mi jednom rekla: "Ovaj mali, kad govori nešto o tenisu, rečenice su mu slične tvojima". Imao je tada 13 godina.

Pilić je komentirao i izjavu Matsa Wilandera koji je rekao da bi Đoković mogao doći do 25 ili 26 Grand Slam turnira.

- Ma pustite Wilandera, on je kreten koji je pričao svašta, a sad je promijenio ploču. Što se Novaka tiče, samo neka mu Bog da zdravlja. Svi tenisači iz vrha su Spartanci, možda je Novak ekstreman po tom pitanju. Mene nisu interesirala imena, nego brojke, a Novakove brojke kažu da je najbolji u povijesti. Ljubimci zapadnih medija su bili Nadal i Federer, a onda dođe neko iz male zemlje i poremeti im račune. Trebalo ga je kazniti, napraviti od njega ono što su pokušali u Australiji, ali talent i želja su pobijedili i sada nitko ne može da kaže da nije najbolji u povijesti.

Nikola Pilić je vodio Đokovića dok je Srbin bio mladi igrač, a sada mu je trener Goran Ivanišević. Njih dvojica imaju specifičan odnos, a novinare Kurira je zanimalo što Pilić misli o pomalo grubim reakcijama koje Đoković ponekad ima prema svojem trenerskom stožeru.

- To su emocionalni momenti, potreban je neki ispušni ventil, nema nikakve veze jer kasnije u svlačionici sve izglade. Goran je 2000. došao kod mene s viškom kilograma, Novak je imao 14 godina. Goran i ja smo igrali dva sata. Kažem mu: "Daj udari pet minuta s malim". Igrali su 23 minute, Novak nijednu loptu nije pogodio u mrežu. Gledao je u Gorana kao u idola - prisjetio se Pilić.

Legendarni Nikola Pilić o napadima na Đokovića: Ma pustite Matsa, on je kreten koji je pričao svašta

Novak Đoković je osvajanjem Roland Garrosa stigao na vrh vječne liste s najviše osvojenih Grand Slam turnira. Srpski tenisač ih sada ima 23, a za njegov uspjeh je zaslužan i Nikola Pilić.

Hrvatskom treneru Đoković je, kao i Jeleni Genčić, zahvalio nakon osvajanja Roland Garrosa, a Pilić je za srpski Kurir odgovorio na pitanje je li predosjećao da Đoković može postati najbolji u povijesti ovog sporta.

- Nisam. Ali bio sam uvjeren da će biti dobar igrač. Moj posao kao trenera i bivšeg tenisača je kao da vadite dijamante iz rudnika, i onda vam dođe malo drugačiji dijamant, najčišći. Takav je bio Novak. On je za mene bio idealna mogućnost za vrhunsko brušenje - rekao je Pilić i dodao:

- Kad ste trener, igračima dajete puno, a obično dobijete malo. Od Novaka sam dobivao baš puno. Moja supruga mi jednom rekla: "Ovaj mali, kad govori nešto o tenisu, rečenice su mu slične tvojima". Imao je tada 13 godina.

Pilić je komentirao i izjavu Matsa Wilandera koji je rekao da bi Đoković mogao doći do 25 ili 26 Grand Slam turnira.

- Ma pustite Wilandera, on je kreten koji je pričao svašta, a sad je promijenio ploču. Što se Novaka tiče, samo neka mu Bog da zdravlja. Svi tenisači iz vrha su Spartanci, možda je Novak ekstreman po tom pitanju. Mene nisu interesirala imena, nego brojke, a Novakove brojke kažu da je najbolji u povijesti. Ljubimci zapadnih medija su bili Nadal i Federer, a onda dođe neko iz male zemlje i poremeti im račune. Trebalo ga je kazniti, napraviti od njega ono što su pokušali u Australiji, ali talent i želja su pobijedili i sada nitko ne može da kaže da nije najbolji u povijesti.

Nikola Pilić je vodio Đokovića dok je Srbin bio mladi igrač, a sada mu je trener Goran Ivanišević. Njih dvojica imaju specifičan odnos, a novinare Kurira je zanimalo što Pilić misli o pomalo grubim reakcijama koje Đoković ponekad ima prema svojem trenerskom stožeru.

- To su emocionalni momenti, potreban je neki ispušni ventil, nema nikakve veze jer kasnije u svlačionici sve izglade. Goran je 2000. došao kod mene s viškom kilograma, Novak je imao 14 godina. Goran i ja smo igrali dva sata. Kažem mu: "Daj udari pet minuta s malim". Igrali su 23 minute, Novak nijednu loptu nije pogodio u mrežu. Gledao je u Gorana kao u idola - prisjetio se Pilić.
