Hrvatsku će ovog tjedna u skupini A Prve skupine Fed Cupa u Tallinnu predstavljati Jana Fett, Lea Bošković, Antonia Ružić, Tara Würth i Darija Jurak. I površniji poznavatelji teniskih prilika uočit će da nema dvije najbolje hrvatske tenisačice, Petre Martić i Donne Vekić, 15. i 23. na svijetu, breme prvog reketa palo je tako na Janu Fett, 234. igračicu svijeta.
U reprezentaciji nisu ni Tereza Mrdeža (249.) ni Tena Lukas (268.), a drugi naš reket bit će 300. na svijetu Lea Bošković, na WTA listi tek šesta Hrvatica.
Antonia Ružić je 1123., dok je Darija Jurak kao specijalistica za parove 32., Tara Würth je bez seniorskog renkinga.
Hrvatskom je teniskom savezu Davis Cup uvijek bio prvi eksponat u izlogu, Fed Cup već godinama stoji negdje “u kantunu”. Stoga je i odaziv najboljih igračica upitan. Petra Martić je prekrižila ne samo reprezentaciju, već i Olimpijske igre. Nama sada ni Donne, a razloge zbog kojih nije u reprezentaciji otkrila nam je Kaštelanka Tena Lukas.
Tražili bolji tretman
U njeno je ime na nedavnom sastanku u HTS-u bio brat Feliks Lukas, inače direktor WTA turnira u Bolu. Tražio je bolji tretman za sve igračice u reprezentaciji te da HTS financijski pomogne tenisačicama koje trenutno ne mogu pokriti troškove angažmana trenera i putovanja tijekom sezone. Navodno se razgovaralo o potpori HTS-a od stotinjak tisuća kuna po igračici tijekom sezone, nije prošlo.
– Ja sam svog brata poslala na sastanak jer nisam bila u Hrvatskoj te s bratom nisam razgovarala ni o kakvim financijskim zahtjevima, jednostavno smatram da HTS ne posvećuje dovoljnu pažnju Fed Cup reprezentaciji i nama reprezentativkama.
– Moj brat je od mene dobio povjerenje da u moje ime postavi kriterije koji će pokazati da je HTS-u stalo do hrvatskog ženskog tenisa i Fed Cupa više nego prošlih godina, ako je tražio povećanje financijskog ulaganja u Fed Cup reprezentativke, sigurna sam da je on iz svog profesionalnog iskustva ocijenio da bi to bio pokazatelj da HTS vrednuje žensku reprezentaciju jednako kao mušku, bez obzira što mi cure ne dobijamo nagradni fond od ITF-a i nema podjele novaca s HTS-om kao što je to slučaj u Davis Cup-u.
– No, iako mi cure nemamo tako dobre rezultate kao muškarci, možda bi, da su ulagali u nas malo više, imali i bolje rezultate – rekla nam je Tena.
Protekih si godina igrala za reprezentaciju?
– Nastupala sam bez ikakvih financijskih zahtijeva, to nikada nije bilo sporno. Uvijek će mi biti ponos igrati za moju domovinu, Hrvatska je moja jedina domovina i samo za nju želim igrati. Već četiri godine nastupam za reprezentaciju i uvijek to radim s posebnom čašću. U svojih 13 nastupa sam ostvarila i šest pobjeda.
– Ali svih ovih godina sam morala primijetiti sustavno zanemarivanje naše nacionalne seniorske ženske reprezentacije od strane HTS-a, gdje je sav fokus bio na Davis Cupu, a Fed Cup izgleda kao neželjeno dijete s kojim HTS ne zna što bi. A kad sam čula da je na tom sastanku sportska direktorica rekla da su ono što HTS može osigurati curama tereni za trening i loptice, to je bila kap koja je prelila čašu.

Od loptica do trenera
U čemu se očituje to zanemarivanje?
– U nizu detalja. Fed Cup reprezentativkama je HTS obećao osigurati terene za trening i loptice, ali ni to nije uvijek sigurno. Nedavno kad sam tražila da mi se osiguraju tereni za trening nitko mi nije odgovarao na upit, već mi je telefonom rečeno da nema slobodnih terena. Prošlu godinu kada sam tražila teniske loptice, iz HTS-a sam dobila odgovor da se može dobiti samo “karton i pol loptica”. Kad sam tražila dodatni karton loptica dok sam bila u Zagrebu na pripremama odgovor je bio da se mora provjeriti, prebrojiti loptice koje sam prethodno dobila te godine?
Nije to sve?
– Prošle godine sam zamolila HTS da pošalje izbornicu Ivu Majoli sa mnom na ITF turnir u Dubai da bih pokušala uhvatiti bodove i da osiguram nastup na kvalifikacijama Australian Opena. No, HTS je odgovorio da nema mogućnost plaćanja aviokarte izbornici da ide sa mnom, jer to im nije u programu. Ja sam odigrala loše dobrim dijelom jer nisam bila u mogućnosti platiti treneru da ide sa mnom. Moram se, pak, zahvaliti izbornici Majoli koja mi je na svoju ruku osigurala trening u Dubaiju s Marion Bartoli u njenoj akademiji.
Tvrdite da je odnos prema muškoj reprezentaciji puno bolji?
– Samo iz razloga što naši dečki ostvaruju super rezultate i donose novac na račun HTS-a, a nas cure smatraju kao trošak jer nema nagradnog fonda za Fed Cup koji bi se dijelio savezima. HTS me nekoliko puta pozvao na domjenke, ali i na Davis Cup u Madrid. Za to imaju novca, a nemaju financijske mogućnosti podržati na pravi način našu Fed Cup reprezentaciju.
Jeste li išli u Madrid?
– Pozive na domjenke i proslave nisam prihvatila. Ja podržavam naše muške reprezentativce i ponosna sam na njih, ali mi je važnije da Hrvatska ima uspješnu Fed Cup reprezentaciju, jer muškoj realno moje navijanje neće pomoći, ali Fed Cup reprezentaciji, dok god igram tenis, možda bih i mogla. Zbog svega navedenog neću igrati u Fed Cupu dok se HTS tako odnosi prema ženskoj teniskoj reprezentaciji.
Kakav je vaš odnos s izbornicom Ivom Majoli?
– Iva Majoli nije ničim doprinijela mojoj ovakvoj odluci, dapače. Meni je žao što ovim potezom moram ujedno odbiti i izbornicu jer izbornica je jedina nama curama nešto i pokušavala osigurati poput “wild card-a”, treninga u inozemstvu, egzibicija... No, s obzirom da je i ona bila tenisačica vjerujem i nadam se da će razumjeti moje trenutno nezadovoljstvo.

Hrvatsku će ovog tjedna u skupini A Prve skupine Fed Cupa u Tallinnu predstavljati Jana Fett, Lea Bošković, Antonia Ružić, Tara Würth i Darija Jurak. I površniji poznavatelji teniskih prilika uočit će da nema dvije najbolje hrvatske tenisačice, Petre Martić i Donne Vekić, 15. i 23. na svijetu, breme prvog reketa palo je tako na Janu Fett, 234. igračicu svijeta.
U reprezentaciji nisu ni Tereza Mrdeža (249.) ni Tena Lukas (268.), a drugi naš reket bit će 300. na svijetu Lea Bošković, na WTA listi tek šesta Hrvatica.
Antonia Ružić je 1123., dok je Darija Jurak kao specijalistica za parove 32., Tara Würth je bez seniorskog renkinga.
Hrvatskom je teniskom savezu Davis Cup uvijek bio prvi eksponat u izlogu, Fed Cup već godinama stoji negdje “u kantunu”. Stoga je i odaziv najboljih igračica upitan. Petra Martić je prekrižila ne samo reprezentaciju, već i Olimpijske igre. Nama sada ni Donne, a razloge zbog kojih nije u reprezentaciji otkrila nam je Kaštelanka Tena Lukas.
Tražili bolji tretman
U njeno je ime na nedavnom sastanku u HTS-u bio brat Feliks Lukas, inače direktor WTA turnira u Bolu. Tražio je bolji tretman za sve igračice u reprezentaciji te da HTS financijski pomogne tenisačicama koje trenutno ne mogu pokriti troškove angažmana trenera i putovanja tijekom sezone. Navodno se razgovaralo o potpori HTS-a od stotinjak tisuća kuna po igračici tijekom sezone, nije prošlo.
– Ja sam svog brata poslala na sastanak jer nisam bila u Hrvatskoj te s bratom nisam razgovarala ni o kakvim financijskim zahtjevima, jednostavno smatram da HTS ne posvećuje dovoljnu pažnju Fed Cup reprezentaciji i nama reprezentativkama.
– Moj brat je od mene dobio povjerenje da u moje ime postavi kriterije koji će pokazati da je HTS-u stalo do hrvatskog ženskog tenisa i Fed Cupa više nego prošlih godina, ako je tražio povećanje financijskog ulaganja u Fed Cup reprezentativke, sigurna sam da je on iz svog profesionalnog iskustva ocijenio da bi to bio pokazatelj da HTS vrednuje žensku reprezentaciju jednako kao mušku, bez obzira što mi cure ne dobijamo nagradni fond od ITF-a i nema podjele novaca s HTS-om kao što je to slučaj u Davis Cup-u.
– No, iako mi cure nemamo tako dobre rezultate kao muškarci, možda bi, da su ulagali u nas malo više, imali i bolje rezultate – rekla nam je Tena.
Protekih si godina igrala za reprezentaciju?
– Nastupala sam bez ikakvih financijskih zahtijeva, to nikada nije bilo sporno. Uvijek će mi biti ponos igrati za moju domovinu, Hrvatska je moja jedina domovina i samo za nju želim igrati. Već četiri godine nastupam za reprezentaciju i uvijek to radim s posebnom čašću. U svojih 13 nastupa sam ostvarila i šest pobjeda.
– Ali svih ovih godina sam morala primijetiti sustavno zanemarivanje naše nacionalne seniorske ženske reprezentacije od strane HTS-a, gdje je sav fokus bio na Davis Cupu, a Fed Cup izgleda kao neželjeno dijete s kojim HTS ne zna što bi. A kad sam čula da je na tom sastanku sportska direktorica rekla da su ono što HTS može osigurati curama tereni za trening i loptice, to je bila kap koja je prelila čašu.

Od loptica do trenera
U čemu se očituje to zanemarivanje?
– U nizu detalja. Fed Cup reprezentativkama je HTS obećao osigurati terene za trening i loptice, ali ni to nije uvijek sigurno. Nedavno kad sam tražila da mi se osiguraju tereni za trening nitko mi nije odgovarao na upit, već mi je telefonom rečeno da nema slobodnih terena. Prošlu godinu kada sam tražila teniske loptice, iz HTS-a sam dobila odgovor da se može dobiti samo “karton i pol loptica”. Kad sam tražila dodatni karton loptica dok sam bila u Zagrebu na pripremama odgovor je bio da se mora provjeriti, prebrojiti loptice koje sam prethodno dobila te godine?
Nije to sve?
– Prošle godine sam zamolila HTS da pošalje izbornicu Ivu Majoli sa mnom na ITF turnir u Dubai da bih pokušala uhvatiti bodove i da osiguram nastup na kvalifikacijama Australian Opena. No, HTS je odgovorio da nema mogućnost plaćanja aviokarte izbornici da ide sa mnom, jer to im nije u programu. Ja sam odigrala loše dobrim dijelom jer nisam bila u mogućnosti platiti treneru da ide sa mnom. Moram se, pak, zahvaliti izbornici Majoli koja mi je na svoju ruku osigurala trening u Dubaiju s Marion Bartoli u njenoj akademiji.
Tvrdite da je odnos prema muškoj reprezentaciji puno bolji?
– Samo iz razloga što naši dečki ostvaruju super rezultate i donose novac na račun HTS-a, a nas cure smatraju kao trošak jer nema nagradnog fonda za Fed Cup koji bi se dijelio savezima. HTS me nekoliko puta pozvao na domjenke, ali i na Davis Cup u Madrid. Za to imaju novca, a nemaju financijske mogućnosti podržati na pravi način našu Fed Cup reprezentaciju.
Jeste li išli u Madrid?
– Pozive na domjenke i proslave nisam prihvatila. Ja podržavam naše muške reprezentativce i ponosna sam na njih, ali mi je važnije da Hrvatska ima uspješnu Fed Cup reprezentaciju, jer muškoj realno moje navijanje neće pomoći, ali Fed Cup reprezentaciji, dok god igram tenis, možda bih i mogla. Zbog svega navedenog neću igrati u Fed Cupu dok se HTS tako odnosi prema ženskoj teniskoj reprezentaciji.
Kakav je vaš odnos s izbornicom Ivom Majoli?
– Iva Majoli nije ničim doprinijela mojoj ovakvoj odluci, dapače. Meni je žao što ovim potezom moram ujedno odbiti i izbornicu jer izbornica je jedina nama curama nešto i pokušavala osigurati poput “wild card-a”, treninga u inozemstvu, egzibicija... No, s obzirom da je i ona bila tenisačica vjerujem i nadam se da će razumjeti moje trenutno nezadovoljstvo.
