Odmah na startu ide na Argentinca Juan Martina del Potra, 25. nostitelja, no tako je ‘nisko’ zbog odsustva prošle godine. Vrijedi Del Potro puno više, i igra odlično. U Roland Garrosu prošle godine nije igrao, no 2009. je stigao do polufinala. Težak ždrijeb za dr. Ivu, no budu li precizne njegove bombe, ni Argentincu neće biti baš lagano.

Najbolje rangirani Hrvat Marin Čilić otvorit će drugi Grand Slam turnir sezone protiv Španjolca Rubena Ramireza Hidalga, 99. na ATP listi, ali Španjolac, iskusan... Bit će nezgodno. No, Hidalgo je tek jednom u dugogodišnjoj karijeri prošao prvo kolo u Parizu, te 2006. je otišao čak do četvrtog kola.

Iskusni Ivan Ljubičić pokušat će do drugog kola doći preko Indijca Somdeva Devvarmana. Naoko lagan meč, no Devvarman je došao do 66. mjesta na ATP listi, valja biti oprezan, makar ga je na challengeru u Zagrebu skinuo i Antonio Veić koji se i sam našao u glavnom turniru Roland Garrosa prošavši kvalifikacije (u zadnjem je kolu savladao Talijana Simonea Bollelija sa 6:1, 3:6, 7:5 i jučer u ranim poslijepodnevnim satima još nije znao ime protivnika).

Ivanu Dodigu, koji je odličan ove godine, start nudi Španjolca Pere Ribu. Trebao bi to biti probavljiv ‘zalogaj’ za Međugorca, no opet... Španjolac, zemlja, 65. na svijetu...

A žene!? Samo je jedna Hrvatica, Mirjana Lučić imala je ‘sreće’, njezin meč prvog kola bit će u televizijskom prijenosu jer će s druge strane mreže stajati Ruskinja Marija Šarapova, sedma igračica svijeta.

Glavni turnir počinje u nedjelju, branitelj naslova Rafael Nadal otvara protiv servera Johna Isnera, ove godine neporaženi Novak Đoković igra protiv Thiema de Bakkera.

Odmah na startu ide na Argentinca Juan Martina del Potra, 25. nostitelja, no tako je ‘nisko’ zbog odsustva prošle godine. Vrijedi Del Potro puno više, i igra odlično. U Roland Garrosu prošle godine nije igrao, no 2009. je stigao do polufinala. Težak ždrijeb za dr. Ivu, no budu li precizne njegove bombe, ni Argentincu neće biti baš lagano.

Najbolje rangirani Hrvat Marin Čilić otvorit će drugi Grand Slam turnir sezone protiv Španjolca Rubena Ramireza Hidalga, 99. na ATP listi, ali Španjolac, iskusan... Bit će nezgodno. No, Hidalgo je tek jednom u dugogodišnjoj karijeri prošao prvo kolo u Parizu, te 2006. je otišao čak do četvrtog kola.

Iskusni Ivan Ljubičić pokušat će do drugog kola doći preko Indijca Somdeva Devvarmana. Naoko lagan meč, no Devvarman je došao do 66. mjesta na ATP listi, valja biti oprezan, makar ga je na challengeru u Zagrebu skinuo i Antonio Veić koji se i sam našao u glavnom turniru Roland Garrosa prošavši kvalifikacije (u zadnjem je kolu savladao Talijana Simonea Bollelija sa 6:1, 3:6, 7:5 i jučer u ranim poslijepodnevnim satima još nije znao ime protivnika).

Ivanu Dodigu, koji je odličan ove godine, start nudi Španjolca Pere Ribu. Trebao bi to biti probavljiv ‘zalogaj’ za Međugorca, no opet... Španjolac, zemlja, 65. na svijetu...

A žene!? Samo je jedna Hrvatica, Mirjana Lučić imala je ‘sreće’, njezin meč prvog kola bit će u televizijskom prijenosu jer će s druge strane mreže stajati Ruskinja Marija Šarapova, sedma igračica svijeta.

Glavni turnir počinje u nedjelju, branitelj naslova Rafael Nadal otvara protiv servera Johna Isnera, ove godine neporaženi Novak Đoković igra protiv Thiema de Bakkera.
