Američki tenisač Frances Tiafoe objavio je kako je zaražen koronavirusom, a kako se zarazio nakon što je u petak odigrao ekshibicijski dvoboj protiv sunarodnjaka Sama Querreya na "All American" turniru u Atlanti.

"Nažalost, bio sam pozitivan na Covid-19 na testiranju u petak navečer nakon meča kojega sam odigrao u Atlanti. Na testiranju prije tjedan dana bio sam negativan", objavio je Tiafoe.

Na "All American" turniru u Atlanti okupili su se svi američki tenisači koji se nalaze među 100 najboljih na ATP ljestvici (John Isner, Taylor Fritz, Reilly Opelka, Sam Querrey, Tennys Sandgren, Tommy Paul, Steve Johnson, Frances Tiafoe), a na mečevima je bio dopušten i dolazak publike.

"Kao i svi ostali igrači, Tiafoe je bio testiran svakoga dana prije dolaska na turnir, a nakon dvoboja je pokazivao simptome bolesti te je bio ponovno testiran i rezultat je bio pozitivan. Stoga je on napustio turnir, a mi smo odmah počeli s dezinfekcijom terena uz pridržavanje svih protokola oko sigurnosti", objavili su organizatori.

Američki tenisač Frances Tiafoe objavio je kako je zaražen koronavirusom, a kako se zarazio nakon što je u petak odigrao ekshibicijski dvoboj protiv sunarodnjaka Sama Querreya na "All American" turniru u Atlanti.

"Nažalost, bio sam pozitivan na Covid-19 na testiranju u petak navečer nakon meča kojega sam odigrao u Atlanti. Na testiranju prije tjedan dana bio sam negativan", objavio je Tiafoe.

Na "All American" turniru u Atlanti okupili su se svi američki tenisači koji se nalaze među 100 najboljih na ATP ljestvici (John Isner, Taylor Fritz, Reilly Opelka, Sam Querrey, Tennys Sandgren, Tommy Paul, Steve Johnson, Frances Tiafoe), a na mečevima je bio dopušten i dolazak publike.

"Kao i svi ostali igrači, Tiafoe je bio testiran svakoga dana prije dolaska na turnir, a nakon dvoboja je pokazivao simptome bolesti te je bio ponovno testiran i rezultat je bio pozitivan. Stoga je on napustio turnir, a mi smo odmah počeli s dezinfekcijom terena uz pridržavanje svih protokola oko sigurnosti", objavili su organizatori.
