- Imam ozbiljnih problema s leđima. U Hamburgu sam zbog njih prošli tjedan morao uzimati lijekove protiv upale – rekao je Švicarac dodavši:

- Bilo mi je jasno od jutra da protiv Brandsa neće biti lako. Razmišljao sam čak otkazati nastup, no odluku sam donio tijekom zagrijavanja, kada se činilo da će leđa izdržati. Nažalost, trpio sam bolove, bilo je teško igrati i kretati se.

- Čekaju me sad terapije, a nakon toga vidjet ćemo što s nastavkom sezone.

Prošlog je tjedna u Hamburgu Federer u polufinalu poražen od Argentinca Federica Delbonisa, dok ga je u drugom kolu Wimbledona izbacio Sergij Stahovskij.

- Imam ozbiljnih problema s leđima. U Hamburgu sam zbog njih prošli tjedan morao uzimati lijekove protiv upale – rekao je Švicarac dodavši:

- Bilo mi je jasno od jutra da protiv Brandsa neće biti lako. Razmišljao sam čak otkazati nastup, no odluku sam donio tijekom zagrijavanja, kada se činilo da će leđa izdržati. Nažalost, trpio sam bolove, bilo je teško igrati i kretati se.

- Čekaju me sad terapije, a nakon toga vidjet ćemo što s nastavkom sezone.

Prošlog je tjedna u Hamburgu Federer u polufinalu poražen od Argentinca Federica Delbonisa, dok ga je u drugom kolu Wimbledona izbacio Sergij Stahovskij.

U zabrinjavajućoj seriji poraza Rogera Federera koja traje od Wimbledona ipak ima opravdanja, objasnio je sam švicarski tenisač nakon poraza na startu turnira u Gstaadu.
