Smjenom Franka Lamparda s pozicije trenera Chelseaja te imenovanjem njemačkog stručnjaka Thomasa Tuchela čini se kako su izgledi da će konačno engleski manager osvojiti Premiership realno opet nikakvi. A koliko god to nevjerojatno zvučalo engleski trener nije osvojio domaću ligu već 29 godina, još tamo od davne 1992. godine. Znate li o kojem se treneru radi?

Da smo vas samo pitali tko je posljednji trener Englez koji je osvojio prvenstvo Engleske, vjerujemo da velika većina ne bi znala odgovor. A čak i ovako kada smo vam otkrili neke podatke, dali vremenski okvir, vjerojatno je „magla” tek nešto malo manja. Zadnji engleski trener klupski prvak Engleske bio je Howard Wilkinson s Leeds Unitedom u sezoni 1991/92. Koliko je to davno bilo najbolje govori podatak da se to dogodilo prije ere Premiershipa. Baš je to bila posljednja sezona stare „First division”, prije nego je kreirana i zaživjela Premier liga.

U međuvremenu su titule osvajali treneri Škoti (Alex Ferguson i Kenny Dalglish), Francuz (Arsene Wenger), Portugalac (Jose Mourinho), Talijani (Carlo Ancelotti, Roberto Mancini, Claudio Ranieri, Antonio Conte), Španjolac (Pep Guardiola), Nijemac (Jürgen Klopp), pa čak i Čileanac (Manuel Pellegrini). Ali ne i Englez. Ferguson je od tada osvojio 13 titula, Wenger i Mourinho po tri... Lampard je prošle sezone pomladio, a prije ove znatno pojačao Chelsea. Međutim, izostao je rezultat kao i strpljenje vlasnika kluba Romana Abramoviča, pa je i Lampard postao bivši. Stoga opet nema naznaka da taj trenerski niz skoro prekine neki Englez.   

Man. City vodi Guardiola, sunarodnjak mu Mikel Arteta Arsenal, a Man. United Norvežanin Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Nijemac Klopp je na kormilu Liverpoola, spomenuti mu sunarodnjak Tuchel sada je na klupi Chelseaja, Mourinho Tottenhama, a Ancelotti Evertona. U gornjem dijelu ljestvice su i Sjeverni Irac Brendan Rogers s Leicester Cityjem te Škot David Moyes s West Hamom. Naravno, uvijek se može dogoditi da opet neki Leicester osvoji naslov, ali ne zaboravimo prije te slavne sezone 2015/16 kada su „lisice” senzacionalno osvojile titulu koeficijent na njih je bio 5000.

Trenutno je osam managera Engleza u Premiershipu, ali nema nijednog koji vodi momčad koja se bori za naslov. Dean Smith vodi Aston Villu, Roy Hodgson Crystal Palace, Sean Dyche je na klupi Burnleya, Steve Bruce Newcastlea, Graham Potter je manager Brightona, Scott Parker Fulhama, Sam Allardyce je naslijedio našeg Slavena Bilića i pokušat će s West Bromwich Albionom nekako izboriti ostanak, a teži posao od njega u tom smislu ima samo Chris Wilder iz Sheffield Uniteda. Izuzev Smitha koji je sa Villom trenutno na desetom mjestu, riječ je o posljednjih sedam klubova Premiershipa!

A o kakvom je kuriozitetu riječ možda najbolje govori usporedba s ostalim ligama petice. U Serie A je prošle sezone talijanski trener osvojio naslov, Maurizio Sarri s Juventusom. U zadnjih deset godina naslov su osvajali treneri Talijani, a u zadnjih 29 sezona u samo tri su do titule došli treneri stranci (Mourinho dvaput s Interom i Sven Göran Eriksson s Lazijem). U Njemačkoj je također aktualni prvak njemački trener, Bayernov Hansi Flick. U Španjolskoj je zadnji domaći trener-prvak bio Ernesto Valverde pretprošle sezone kada je do (obrane) naslova stigao s Barcelonom, dok suša francuskih trenera u Ligue 1 traje samo od 2016. godine i Lauranta Blanca s PSG-om. Nigdje ni traga ovakvom crnom nizu kakav imaju engleski treneri u svom dvorištu. Najjača liga svijeta je Premiership, financijski najmoćnija, jaka im je i reprezentacija, ali nikako da Englezi lansiraju, stvore i vrhunske trenere. Teško će i uspjeti kada za njih nerijetko nemaju strpljenja. Lampard je „letio” nakon godinu i pol, a primjerice Klopp mada je i sezonu ranije igrao finale Lige prvaka je prvi trofej Liverpoolu (prvak Europe) donio nakon malo više od tri i pol godine rada.

Smjenom Franka Lamparda s pozicije trenera Chelseaja te imenovanjem njemačkog stručnjaka Thomasa Tuchela čini se kako su izgledi da će konačno engleski manager osvojiti Premiership realno opet nikakvi. A koliko god to nevjerojatno zvučalo engleski trener nije osvojio domaću ligu već 29 godina, još tamo od davne 1992. godine. Znate li o kojem se treneru radi?

Da smo vas samo pitali tko je posljednji trener Englez koji je osvojio prvenstvo Engleske, vjerujemo da velika većina ne bi znala odgovor. A čak i ovako kada smo vam otkrili neke podatke, dali vremenski okvir, vjerojatno je „magla” tek nešto malo manja. Zadnji engleski trener klupski prvak Engleske bio je Howard Wilkinson s Leeds Unitedom u sezoni 1991/92. Koliko je to davno bilo najbolje govori podatak da se to dogodilo prije ere Premiershipa. Baš je to bila posljednja sezona stare „First division”, prije nego je kreirana i zaživjela Premier liga.

U međuvremenu su titule osvajali treneri Škoti (Alex Ferguson i Kenny Dalglish), Francuz (Arsene Wenger), Portugalac (Jose Mourinho), Talijani (Carlo Ancelotti, Roberto Mancini, Claudio Ranieri, Antonio Conte), Španjolac (Pep Guardiola), Nijemac (Jürgen Klopp), pa čak i Čileanac (Manuel Pellegrini). Ali ne i Englez. Ferguson je od tada osvojio 13 titula, Wenger i Mourinho po tri... Lampard je prošle sezone pomladio, a prije ove znatno pojačao Chelsea. Međutim, izostao je rezultat kao i strpljenje vlasnika kluba Romana Abramoviča, pa je i Lampard postao bivši. Stoga opet nema naznaka da taj trenerski niz skoro prekine neki Englez.   

Man. City vodi Guardiola, sunarodnjak mu Mikel Arteta Arsenal, a Man. United Norvežanin Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Nijemac Klopp je na kormilu Liverpoola, spomenuti mu sunarodnjak Tuchel sada je na klupi Chelseaja, Mourinho Tottenhama, a Ancelotti Evertona. U gornjem dijelu ljestvice su i Sjeverni Irac Brendan Rogers s Leicester Cityjem te Škot David Moyes s West Hamom. Naravno, uvijek se može dogoditi da opet neki Leicester osvoji naslov, ali ne zaboravimo prije te slavne sezone 2015/16 kada su „lisice” senzacionalno osvojile titulu koeficijent na njih je bio 5000.

Trenutno je osam managera Engleza u Premiershipu, ali nema nijednog koji vodi momčad koja se bori za naslov. Dean Smith vodi Aston Villu, Roy Hodgson Crystal Palace, Sean Dyche je na klupi Burnleya, Steve Bruce Newcastlea, Graham Potter je manager Brightona, Scott Parker Fulhama, Sam Allardyce je naslijedio našeg Slavena Bilića i pokušat će s West Bromwich Albionom nekako izboriti ostanak, a teži posao od njega u tom smislu ima samo Chris Wilder iz Sheffield Uniteda. Izuzev Smitha koji je sa Villom trenutno na desetom mjestu, riječ je o posljednjih sedam klubova Premiershipa!

A o kakvom je kuriozitetu riječ možda najbolje govori usporedba s ostalim ligama petice. U Serie A je prošle sezone talijanski trener osvojio naslov, Maurizio Sarri s Juventusom. U zadnjih deset godina naslov su osvajali treneri Talijani, a u zadnjih 29 sezona u samo tri su do titule došli treneri stranci (Mourinho dvaput s Interom i Sven Göran Eriksson s Lazijem). U Njemačkoj je također aktualni prvak njemački trener, Bayernov Hansi Flick. U Španjolskoj je zadnji domaći trener-prvak bio Ernesto Valverde pretprošle sezone kada je do (obrane) naslova stigao s Barcelonom, dok suša francuskih trenera u Ligue 1 traje samo od 2016. godine i Lauranta Blanca s PSG-om. Nigdje ni traga ovakvom crnom nizu kakav imaju engleski treneri u svom dvorištu. Najjača liga svijeta je Premiership, financijski najmoćnija, jaka im je i reprezentacija, ali nikako da Englezi lansiraju, stvore i vrhunske trenere. Teško će i uspjeti kada za njih nerijetko nemaju strpljenja. Lampard je „letio” nakon godinu i pol, a primjerice Klopp mada je i sezonu ranije igrao finale Lige prvaka je prvi trofej Liverpoolu (prvak Europe) donio nakon malo više od tri i pol godine rada.

Smjenom Franka Lamparda s pozicije trenera Chelseaja te imenovanjem njemačkog stručnjaka Thomasa Tuchela čini se kako su izgledi da će konačno engleski manager osvojiti Premiership realno opet nikakvi. A koliko god to nevjerojatno zvučalo engleski trener nije osvojio domaću ligu već 29 godina, još tamo od davne 1992. godine. Znate li o kojem se treneru radi?

Da smo vas samo pitali tko je posljednji trener Englez koji je osvojio prvenstvo Engleske, vjerujemo da velika većina ne bi znala odgovor.
