Prema belgijskim medijima Leko je (bio) osumnjičen za pranje novca. Njegov odvjetnik Walter Van Steenbrugge rekao je večeras gostujući u emisiji belgijske tv postaje "VTM Nieuws".

- Leko je pošten čovjek, svakog može pogledati u oči i već u petak će se vratiti na posao. Nanesena mu je nemjerljiva šteta. Uhićen je pred očima svoje djece, uz veliku pompu. Svi mediji, uključujući i strane, izvještavali su o tome. U automobilu kojim je odlazio kući zamolio me da mu pomognem sprati ljagu sa svog imena. Rekao je da će se vratiti, oprostiti, ali da ovo ne smije proći nekažnjeno. Ne mogu se s nekim tako ophoditi, u pitanju je njegova karijera.

Potom je Van Steenbrugge demantirao optužbe za pranje novca.

- To podrazumijeva ilegalno stečen novac koji se ubacuje u legalne transakcije. Jedino što još moramo podastrijeti dokaze po pitanju dijela plaće iz vremena dok je bio trener Leuvena, prije nekoliko godina. To mora provjeriti, jesu li sve porezne prijave bile uredne. Nije osobno radio te prijave, a kako tu dokumentaciju nije imao sa sobom zatražio je malo vremena.

Potom je odvjetnik naglasio.

- Sve su provjeravali posljednjih mjeseci, prisluškivani su i telefoni. Na sva pitanja im je odgovorio. U srijedu je ispitivanje trajalo šest sati, zatim je bio kod istražnog suca i sve je čisto, Leko je slobodan, bezuvjetno je pušten... Prekontrolirana su i sva primanja od Club Bruggea.

Prema belgijskim medijima Leko je (bio) osumnjičen za pranje novca. Njegov odvjetnik Walter Van Steenbrugge rekao je večeras gostujući u emisiji belgijske tv postaje "VTM Nieuws".

- Leko je pošten čovjek, svakog može pogledati u oči i već u petak će se vratiti na posao. Nanesena mu je nemjerljiva šteta. Uhićen je pred očima svoje djece, uz veliku pompu. Svi mediji, uključujući i strane, izvještavali su o tome. U automobilu kojim je odlazio kući zamolio me da mu pomognem sprati ljagu sa svog imena. Rekao je da će se vratiti, oprostiti, ali da ovo ne smije proći nekažnjeno. Ne mogu se s nekim tako ophoditi, u pitanju je njegova karijera.

Potom je Van Steenbrugge demantirao optužbe za pranje novca.

- To podrazumijeva ilegalno stečen novac koji se ubacuje u legalne transakcije. Jedino što još moramo podastrijeti dokaze po pitanju dijela plaće iz vremena dok je bio trener Leuvena, prije nekoliko godina. To mora provjeriti, jesu li sve porezne prijave bile uredne. Nije osobno radio te prijave, a kako tu dokumentaciju nije imao sa sobom zatražio je malo vremena.

Potom je odvjetnik naglasio.

- Sve su provjeravali posljednjih mjeseci, prisluškivani su i telefoni. Na sva pitanja im je odgovorio. U srijedu je ispitivanje trajalo šest sati, zatim je bio kod istražnog suca i sve je čisto, Leko je slobodan, bezuvjetno je pušten... Prekontrolirana su i sva primanja od Club Bruggea.
