Katarska TV postaja beIN Sports objavila je na svojoj Twitter stranici vijest da je Međunarodna antidopinška agencija (WADA) suspendirala rusku nogometnu reprezentaciju sa idućeg svjetskog prvenstva 2022. godine, što je izazvalo medijsku paniku u Moskvi.

Katarci tvrde da je WADA o svojoj odluci već obavijestila Rusiju, međutim u Moskvi tvrde kako o svemu ne znaju ništa.

Zanimljivo, Međunarodna nogometna federacija (FIFA) u izjavi za rusku novinsku agenciju TASS nije željela potvrditi, ali niti demantirati ovu vijest.

"Nemamo novih podataka o ovoj situaciji od prosinca. Tada smo objavili da je FIFA bila u kontaktu s Wadom u vezi budućih odluka Izvršnog odbora antidopinga u nogometu", napisala je FIFA.

Generalni direktor Ruske antidoping agencije (RUSADA) Juri Ganus kazao je za TASS da od WADA-e nije dobio nikakve dokumente o suspenziji Rusije sa Svjetskog prvenstva 2022. godine, a u Ruskom nogometnom savezu također, tvrde kako nisu dobili obavijest o promjeni statusa reprezentacije.

Početkom prosinca prošle godine WADA je donijela odluku da se Rusiji, nakon velikog dopinškog skandala, zabranjuje nastup na svim velikim natjecanjima u iduće četiri godine. To znači da će svi sportaši koji neće moći dokazati svoju nevinost morati propustiti Olimpijske igre u Tokiju, dok će oni koji ipak uspiju dokazati da su nevini igrati pod olimpijskom zastavom.

Ruska antidopinška organizacija (RUSADA) proglašena je krivom nakon što su članovi WADA-e zaključili kako je u laboratoriju u Moskvi došlo do manipuliranja uzorcima, podmetanja lažnih dokaza i brisanja dokumenata koji su bili povezani s pozitivnim nalazima na testovima i pomoću kojih se lako moglo otkriti tko su sportaši koji su se služili nedopuštenim sredstvima.

FIFA je tada uputila pitanje WADA-i što to konkrento znači za kvalifikacije za Svjetsko prvenstvo 2022. godine u Kataru, a stigao je zanimljiv odgovor.

"Ako se Rusija i kvalificira, neće smjeti nastupiti pod tim imenom već je postavljen mehanizam prema kojemu može podnijeti zahtjev za nastupom na neutralnoj osnovi", izjavio je predsjednik WADA-ine Komisije za žalbe Jonathan Taylor. Međutim, tada nitko nije spominjao suspenziju ruske nogometne reprezentacije.

Katar bi trebao biti domaćin Svjetskog nogometnog prvenstva između 21. studenog i 18. prosinca 2022. godine.

Katarska TV postaja beIN Sports objavila je na svojoj Twitter stranici vijest da je Međunarodna antidopinška agencija (WADA) suspendirala rusku nogometnu reprezentaciju sa idućeg svjetskog prvenstva 2022. godine, što je izazvalo medijsku paniku u Moskvi.

Katarci tvrde da je WADA o svojoj odluci već obavijestila Rusiju, međutim u Moskvi tvrde kako o svemu ne znaju ništa.

Zanimljivo, Međunarodna nogometna federacija (FIFA) u izjavi za rusku novinsku agenciju TASS nije željela potvrditi, ali niti demantirati ovu vijest.

"Nemamo novih podataka o ovoj situaciji od prosinca. Tada smo objavili da je FIFA bila u kontaktu s Wadom u vezi budućih odluka Izvršnog odbora antidopinga u nogometu", napisala je FIFA.

Generalni direktor Ruske antidoping agencije (RUSADA) Juri Ganus kazao je za TASS da od WADA-e nije dobio nikakve dokumente o suspenziji Rusije sa Svjetskog prvenstva 2022. godine, a u Ruskom nogometnom savezu također, tvrde kako nisu dobili obavijest o promjeni statusa reprezentacije.

Početkom prosinca prošle godine WADA je donijela odluku da se Rusiji, nakon velikog dopinškog skandala, zabranjuje nastup na svim velikim natjecanjima u iduće četiri godine. To znači da će svi sportaši koji neće moći dokazati svoju nevinost morati propustiti Olimpijske igre u Tokiju, dok će oni koji ipak uspiju dokazati da su nevini igrati pod olimpijskom zastavom.

Ruska antidopinška organizacija (RUSADA) proglašena je krivom nakon što su članovi WADA-e zaključili kako je u laboratoriju u Moskvi došlo do manipuliranja uzorcima, podmetanja lažnih dokaza i brisanja dokumenata koji su bili povezani s pozitivnim nalazima na testovima i pomoću kojih se lako moglo otkriti tko su sportaši koji su se služili nedopuštenim sredstvima.

FIFA je tada uputila pitanje WADA-i što to konkrento znači za kvalifikacije za Svjetsko prvenstvo 2022. godine u Kataru, a stigao je zanimljiv odgovor.

"Ako se Rusija i kvalificira, neće smjeti nastupiti pod tim imenom već je postavljen mehanizam prema kojemu može podnijeti zahtjev za nastupom na neutralnoj osnovi", izjavio je predsjednik WADA-ine Komisije za žalbe Jonathan Taylor. Međutim, tada nitko nije spominjao suspenziju ruske nogometne reprezentacije.

Katar bi trebao biti domaćin Svjetskog nogometnog prvenstva između 21. studenog i 18. prosinca 2022. godine.
