Aston Villa imenovala je svojim novim trenerom Stevena Gerrarda, koji je uspješno od 2018. vodio Glasgow Rangerse. Na trenerskoj klupi je naslijedio otpuštenog Deana Smitha.

"Aston Villa je klub bogate povijesti i strašno sam ponosan što sam postao njen novi trener. U razgovorima s vlasnicima i upravom kluba vidio sam da imaju vrlo ambiciozne planove i veselim se tome da pomognem u njihovu ostvarivanju", priopćio je Gerrard, igračka legenda Liverpoola za koji je između 1998. i 2015. odigrao više od 700 utakmica. 

U Aston Villi ga čeka težak posao jer je klub na 16. mjestu, samo dva boda iznad zone ispadanja. 

Gerrard se osvrnuo i na svoje trenersko razdoblje u Rangersima s kojima je prošle sezone osvojio naslov prvaka Škotske prekinuvši dominaciju Celtica: "Zahvalan sam svima koji su mi omogućili da vodim Glasgow Rangerse, nogometnu ikonu, te što sam pomogao da osvoje rekordni 55. naslov prvaka. To će zauvijek imati posebno mjesto u mom srcu, a igračima, navijačima i svima koji su povezani sa klubom želim sve najbolje u budućnosti".

Aston Villa imenovala je svojim novim trenerom Stevena Gerrarda, koji je uspješno od 2018. vodio Glasgow Rangerse. Na trenerskoj klupi je naslijedio otpuštenog Deana Smitha.

"Aston Villa je klub bogate povijesti i strašno sam ponosan što sam postao njen novi trener. U razgovorima s vlasnicima i upravom kluba vidio sam da imaju vrlo ambiciozne planove i veselim se tome da pomognem u njihovu ostvarivanju", priopćio je Gerrard, igračka legenda Liverpoola za koji je između 1998. i 2015. odigrao više od 700 utakmica. 

U Aston Villi ga čeka težak posao jer je klub na 16. mjestu, samo dva boda iznad zone ispadanja. 

Gerrard se osvrnuo i na svoje trenersko razdoblje u Rangersima s kojima je prošle sezone osvojio naslov prvaka Škotske prekinuvši dominaciju Celtica: "Zahvalan sam svima koji su mi omogućili da vodim Glasgow Rangerse, nogometnu ikonu, te što sam pomogao da osvoje rekordni 55. naslov prvaka. To će zauvijek imati posebno mjesto u mom srcu, a igračima, navijačima i svima koji su povezani sa klubom želim sve najbolje u budućnosti".

Aston Villa imenovala je svojim novim trenerom Stevena Gerrarda, koji je uspješno od 2018. vodio Glasgow Rangerse. Na trenerskoj klupi je naslijedio otpuštenog Deana Smitha.

"Aston Villa je klub bogate povijesti i strašno sam ponosan što sam postao njen novi trener. U razgovorima s vlasnicima i upravom kluba vidio sam da imaju vrlo ambiciozne planove i veselim se tome da pomognem u njihovu ostvarivanju", priopćio je Gerrard, igračka legenda Liverpoola za koji je između 1998. i 2015. odigrao više od 700 utakmica. 

U Aston Villi ga čeka težak posao jer je klub na 16. mjestu, samo dva boda iznad zone ispadanja. 

Gerrard se osvrnuo i na svoje trenersko razdoblje u Rangersima s kojima je prošle sezone osvojio naslov prvaka Škotske prekinuvši dominaciju Celtica: "Zahvalan sam svima ...
