Svjetsko prvenstvo u nogometu za žene kreće za par dana, točnije 20. srpnja, a otvaraju ga domaćin Novi Zeland i Norveška. Drugi domaćin je Australija, što ovaj turnir čini prvim SP-om za žene koji se održava u dvije države i prvim koji se država u dvije konfederacije (Novi Zeland pripada oceanijskoj, a Australija je u azijskoj).
Ovaj Mundijal za žene bit će i prvi na kojem će igrati 32 reprezentacije, a nagradni fond će biti daleko najveći u povijesti i skoro četiri puta veća od onoga iz 2019. godine. FIFA će podijeliti čak 165 milijuna dolara (45 milijuna u 2019.), a više od polovice tog iznosa otići će direktno u ruke nogometašica, dok će ostatak ići savezima.
Takva odluka FIFA-e posljedica je inicijative FIFProa, putem kojeg su nogometašice tražile drugačiji tretman od njihovih muških kolega jer bi savezi često novac od nagrada zadržavali za sebe, odnosno ne bi ga prosljeđivali igračicama.
Osim tih 165 milijuna dolara, FIFA svake godine ulaže stotine milijuna na razvoj ženskog nogometa, ali zahtjev o izjednačavanju nagradnog fonda s onim koji se dijeli nogometašima još uvijek nije prihvatila. Reprezentacije koje su nastupila na SP-u u Kataru prošle godine dobile su ukupno 656 milijuna dolara, što je daleko od nagradnog fonda za žene, a iako FIFA planira to izjednačiti 2027. pitanje je bi li uopće trebala.
Naime, unatoč golemom porastu interesa za SP za žene i rekordnoj gledanosti Mundijala održanog u Francuskoj 2019., udio prihoda od tog natjecanja u kontekstu ukupnih prihoda FIFA-e praktički je zanemariv.
FIFA svoj četverogodišnji budžet temelji uvelike na Svjetskom prvenstvu za muškarce, a dovoljno je reći da se u periodu od 2019. do 2022. čak 83 posto svih prihoda odnosilo na SP u Kataru. S druge strane, krovna svjetska nogometna federacija podatke o prihodima od SP-a za žene skriva kao zmija noge.
Ono što je poznato jest to da je FIFA 2019. generirala 766 milijuna dolara prihoda, što je rast od 41 posto u odnosu na prethodnu godinu u kojoj je održan Mundijal za žene (2015.). No, ne navodi se koliko od tih prihoda otpada na sam turnir i sve ono što je vezano za njega.

Naime, FIFA je samo u dijelu država prodavala prava na televizijski prijenos SP-a za žene posebno, dok je u nekima to bio dio paketa koji ide s Mundijalom za muškarce. Javno objavljeni podatak kaže da je turnir 2019. gledalo 1,1 milijarde ljudi, što je dvostruko više nego 2015., a FIFA predviđa da bi ovogodišnji SP mogao doseći brojku od dvije milijarde. Za usporedbu, SP u Kataru gledalo je pet milijardi ljudi.
No, ako se pogleda FIFA-ino financijsko izvješće, u njemu su navedeni samo troškovi vezani za organizaciju SP-a za žene, dok prihodi nisu posebno izdvojeni. Da stvar bude još zanimljivija, FIFA navodi Svjetsko U-20 prvenstvo i Svjetsko klupsko prvenstvo kao donositelje najvećih prihoda kada su u pitanju ulaznice, dok za SP za žene kaže da su prihodi proslijeđeni organizatoru (Francuskoj) kao pomoć u organizaciji turnira.
Da unatoč porastu interesa i dostupnosti televizijskog prijenosa u čak 205 zemalja Mundijal za žene i dalje nije ni približno popularan kao onaj za muškarce, govore još dvije stvari...
Predsjednik FIFA-e, Gianni Infantino, u listopadu prošle godine je javno kritizirao televizijske kuće zbog neprihvatljivo malih ponuda za prijenos, od kojih su neke bile – prema njegovim riječima – čak 100 puta manje nego za SP za muškarce. Nakon što je zaprijetio blokadom prijenosa u pet nogometno najjačih zemalja Europe, kompromis je ipak pronađen, ali financijski detalji dogovora i dalje nisu službeno objavljeni. Nagađa se da se radi o iznosu od oko 30 milijuna dolara.
Također je indikativna i situacija sa sponzorima. FIFA je, uz marketinške partnere SP-a za muškarce, ponudila tvrtkama da budu ekskluzivni sponzori Mundijala za žene. Ali samo dvije tvrtke su iskoristile tu mogućnost – Visa i novozelandska tehnološka tvrtka Xero, što je sve u FIFA-i ostavilo neugodno iznenađenima.
Zaključak je jasan. Iako popularnost ženskog nogometa iz godine u godinu raste, čak ni Svjetsko prvenstvo ne generira ni približan interes kao ono za muškarce. FIFA ulaže stotine milijuna dolara u razvoj ženskog nogometa, što bi i trebala, a svaka djevojčica koja se odluči na najvažniju sporednu stvar na svijetu trebala bi imati iste uvjete i mogućnosti kao i dječaci.
Ali ako stvari sagledamo realno, nema baš smisla da igračice za turnir koji FIFA-i uz sav trud donosi zanemarive prihode imaju jednaki nagradni fond kao i muškarci čiji turnir donosi 83 posto prihoda na četverogodišnjoj razini.
Što ne znači da situacija jednog dana neće biti drugačija...

Svjetsko prvenstvo u nogometu za žene kreće za par dana, točnije 20. srpnja, a otvaraju ga domaćin Novi Zeland i Norveška. Drugi domaćin je Australija, što ovaj turnir čini prvim SP-om za žene koji se održava u dvije države i prvim koji se država u dvije konfederacije (Novi Zeland pripada oceanijskoj, a Australija je u azijskoj).
Ovaj Mundijal za žene bit će i prvi na kojem će igrati 32 reprezentacije, a nagradni fond će biti daleko najveći u povijesti i skoro četiri puta veća od onoga iz 2019. godine. FIFA će podijeliti čak 165 milijuna dolara (45 milijuna u 2019.), a više od polovice tog iznosa otići će direktno u ruke nogometašica, dok će ostatak ići savezima.
Takva odluka FIFA-e posljedica je inicijative FIFProa, putem kojeg su nogometašice tražile drugačiji tretman od njihovih muških kolega jer bi savezi često novac od nagrada zadržavali za sebe, odnosno ne bi ga prosljeđivali igračicama.
Osim tih 165 milijuna dolara, FIFA svake godine ulaže stotine milijuna na razvoj ženskog nogometa, ali zahtjev o izjednačavanju nagradnog fonda s onim koji se dijeli nogometašima još uvijek nije prihvatila. Reprezentacije koje su nastupila na SP-u u Kataru prošle godine dobile su ukupno 656 milijuna dolara, što je daleko od nagradnog fonda za žene, a iako FIFA planira to izjednačiti 2027. pitanje je bi li uopće trebala.
Naime, unatoč golemom porastu interesa za SP za žene i rekordnoj gledanosti Mundijala održanog u Francuskoj 2019., udio prihoda od tog natjecanja u kontekstu ukupnih prihoda FIFA-e praktički je zanemariv.
FIFA svoj četverogodišnji budžet temelji uvelike na Svjetskom prvenstvu za muškarce, a dovoljno je reći da se u periodu od 2019. do 2022. čak 83 posto svih prihoda odnosilo na SP u Kataru. S druge strane, krovna svjetska nogometna federacija podatke o prihodima od SP-a za žene skriva kao zmija noge.
Ono što je poznato jest to da je FIFA 2019. generirala 766 milijuna dolara prihoda, što je rast od 41 posto u odnosu na prethodnu godinu u kojoj je održan Mundijal za žene (2015.). No, ne navodi se koliko od tih prihoda otpada na sam turnir i sve ono što je vezano za njega.

Naime, FIFA je samo u dijelu država prodavala prava na televizijski prijenos SP-a za žene posebno, dok je u nekima to bio dio paketa koji ide s Mundijalom za muškarce. Javno objavljeni podatak kaže da je turnir 2019. gledalo 1,1 milijarde ljudi, što je dvostruko više nego 2015., a FIFA predviđa da bi ovogodišnji SP mogao doseći brojku od dvije milijarde. Za usporedbu, SP u Kataru gledalo je pet milijardi ljudi.
No, ako se pogleda FIFA-ino financijsko izvješće, u njemu su navedeni samo troškovi vezani za organizaciju SP-a za žene, dok prihodi nisu posebno izdvojeni. Da stvar bude još zanimljivija, FIFA navodi Svjetsko U-20 prvenstvo i Svjetsko klupsko prvenstvo kao donositelje najvećih prihoda kada su u pitanju ulaznice, dok za SP za žene kaže da su prihodi proslijeđeni organizatoru (Francuskoj) kao pomoć u organizaciji turnira.
Da unatoč porastu interesa i dostupnosti televizijskog prijenosa u čak 205 zemalja Mundijal za žene i dalje nije ni približno popularan kao onaj za muškarce, govore još dvije stvari...
Predsjednik FIFA-e, Gianni Infantino, u listopadu prošle godine je javno kritizirao televizijske kuće zbog neprihvatljivo malih ponuda za prijenos, od kojih su neke bile – prema njegovim riječima – čak 100 puta manje nego za SP za muškarce. Nakon što je zaprijetio blokadom prijenosa u pet nogometno najjačih zemalja Europe, kompromis je ipak pronađen, ali financijski detalji dogovora i dalje nisu službeno objavljeni. Nagađa se da se radi o iznosu od oko 30 milijuna dolara.
Također je indikativna i situacija sa sponzorima. FIFA je, uz marketinške partnere SP-a za muškarce, ponudila tvrtkama da budu ekskluzivni sponzori Mundijala za žene. Ali samo dvije tvrtke su iskoristile tu mogućnost – Visa i novozelandska tehnološka tvrtka Xero, što je sve u FIFA-i ostavilo neugodno iznenađenima.
Zaključak je jasan. Iako popularnost ženskog nogometa iz godine u godinu raste, čak ni Svjetsko prvenstvo ne generira ni približan interes kao ono za muškarce. FIFA ulaže stotine milijuna dolara u razvoj ženskog nogometa, što bi i trebala, a svaka djevojčica koja se odluči na najvažniju sporednu stvar na svijetu trebala bi imati iste uvjete i mogućnosti kao i dječaci.
Ali ako stvari sagledamo realno, nema baš smisla da igračice za turnir koji FIFA-i uz sav trud donosi zanemarive prihode imaju jednaki nagradni fond kao i muškarci čiji turnir donosi 83 posto prihoda na četverogodišnjoj razini.
Što ne znači da situacija jednog dana neće biti drugačija...
