Bayer Leverkusen je prekinuo dominaciju Bayerna koja traje od 2013. i pobjedom nad Werderom 5-0 u 29. kolu Bundeslige matematički potvrdio naslov nogometnog prvaka Njemačke, prvog u klupskoj povijesti. 

Momčad pod vodstvom Španjolca Xabija Alonsa je na potpuno ispunjenoj BayAreni povela u 25. minuti, kad je Nigerijac Victor Boniface realizirao kazneni udarac. Domaća momčad je svoju nadmoć okrunila u 60. minuti, kad je mrežu zatresao švicarski reprezentativac Granit Xhaka i udvostručio Bayerovu prednost. U 68. minuti je svoj prvi pogodak za 3-0 postigao Florian Wirtz koji je ušao u drugom poluvremenu, a do kraja dvoboja je kompetirao ‘hat-trick‘ golovima u 83. i 90. minuti. 

Bayer je 25. prvenstvenom pobjedom došao do 79 bodova i pet kola prije kraja sezone ima nedostižnih 16 bodova prednosti u odnosu na Bayern i Stuttgart koji će se u preostalih pet utakmica boriti za drugo mjesto, dok će još zamimljivija biti borba RB Leipziga (56) i Borussije Dortmund (56) za četvrto mjesto, posljednje koje vodi u Ligu prvaka. 

Hrvatski reprezentativac Josip Stanišić, koji je uoči sezone došao u Leverkusen na posudbu iz Bayerna, ovu je utakmicu odgledao s klupe za pričuvne igrače, ali je dao svoj puni doprinos na trofejnom putu momčadi koja je do sada bila poznata kao gubitnička.

Ovo je prvi naslov prvaka Njemačke za momčad koja je pet puta u svojoj povijesti osvajala drugo mjesto u Bundesligi, a prije 22 godine je od naslova bila udaljena samo jedan bod. U istoj je sezoni Bayer bio u finalu Lige prvaka i izgubio finale njemačkog Kupa.

No, trener Alonso je već najavio da velikog slavlja neće biti, jer je Bayer u igri za još dva trofeja. Već u četvrtak ga čeka uzvratna utakmica četvrtfinala Europske lige protiv West Ham Uniteda u Londonu, gdje će "apotekari" braniti dva gola prednosti (2-0) iz prvog dvoboja.

Bayer je došao i do finala domaćeg Kupa. Utakmica za trofej je na rasporedu 25. svibnja, a Bayeru će se suprotstaviti drugoligaš Kaiserslautern, predzadnja momčad u 2. Bundesligi.

Pod Alonsovim vodstvom Bayer u ovoj sezoni još nije izgubio utakmicu ni u jednom natjecanju. U Bundesligi ima 25 pobjeda i četiri neodlučena ishoda, u Europskoj ligi su "apotekari" ostvarili osam pobjeda i jednom odigrali neodlučeno, a do finala njemačkog Kupa su došli s pet pobjeda. Ukupno Bayer ima 38 pobjeda i pet remija u 43 službene utakmice, uz gol-razliku 123-31.

Bayer Leverkusen je prekinuo dominaciju Bayerna koja traje od 2013. i pobjedom nad Werderom 5-0 u 29. kolu Bundeslige matematički potvrdio naslov nogometnog prvaka Njemačke, prvog u klupskoj povijesti. 

Momčad pod vodstvom Španjolca Xabija Alonsa je na potpuno ispunjenoj BayAreni povela u 25. minuti, kad je Nigerijac Victor Boniface realizirao kazneni udarac. Domaća momčad je svoju nadmoć okrunila u 60. minuti, kad je mrežu zatresao švicarski reprezentativac Granit Xhaka i udvostručio Bayerovu prednost. U 68. minuti je svoj prvi pogodak za 3-0 postigao Florian Wirtz koji je ušao u drugom poluvremenu, a do kraja dvoboja je kompetirao ‘hat-trick‘ golovima u 83. i 90. minuti. 

Bayer je 25. prvenstvenom pobjedom došao do 79 bodova i pet kola prije kraja sezone ima nedostižnih 16 bodova prednosti u odnosu na Bayern i Stuttgart koji će se u preostalih pet utakmica boriti za drugo mjesto, dok će još zamimljivija biti borba RB Leipziga (56) i Borussije Dortmund (56) za četvrto mjesto, posljednje koje vodi u Ligu prvaka. 

Hrvatski reprezentativac Josip Stanišić, koji je uoči sezone došao u Leverkusen na posudbu iz Bayerna, ovu je utakmicu odgledao s klupe za pričuvne igrače, ali je dao svoj puni doprinos na trofejnom putu momčadi koja je do sada bila poznata kao gubitnička.

Ovo je prvi naslov prvaka Njemačke za momčad koja je pet puta u svojoj povijesti osvajala drugo mjesto u Bundesligi, a prije 22 godine je od naslova bila udaljena samo jedan bod. U istoj je sezoni Bayer bio u finalu Lige prvaka i izgubio finale njemačkog Kupa.

No, trener Alonso je već najavio da velikog slavlja neće biti, jer je Bayer u igri za još dva trofeja. Već u četvrtak ga čeka uzvratna utakmica četvrtfinala Europske lige protiv West Ham Uniteda u Londonu, gdje će "apotekari" braniti dva gola prednosti (2-0) iz prvog dvoboja.

Senzacija u Njemačkoj, Leverkusen gori: Bayer je osvojio prvi naslov u povijesti!

Bayer Leverkusen je prekinuo dominaciju Bayerna koja traje od 2013. i pobjedom nad Werderom 5-0 u 29. kolu Bundeslige matematički potvrdio naslov nogometnog prvaka Njemačke, prvog u klupskoj povijesti. 

Momčad pod vodstvom Španjolca Xabija Alonsa je na potpuno ispunjenoj BayAreni povela u 25. minuti, kad je Nigerijac Victor Boniface realizirao kazneni udarac. Domaća momčad je svoju nadmoć okrunila u 60. minuti, kad je mrežu zatresao švicarski reprezentativac Granit Xhaka i udvostručio Bayerovu prednost. U 68. minuti je svoj prvi pogodak za 3-0 postigao Florian Wirtz koji je ušao u drugom poluvremenu, a do kraja dvoboja je kompetirao ‘hat-trick‘ golovima u 83. i 90. minuti.
