Tek što je Međunarodna nogometna federacija (FIFA) pozvala zemlje iz Azije i Oceanije da predaju kandidature, Saudijska Arabija je najavila svoju kandidaturu za Svjetsko nogometno prvenstvo 2034. godine.

Nogometni savez Saudijske Arabije je objavio kako želi organizirati "turnir svjetske klase" dodavši kako će inspiraciju crpiti iz "duboko ukorijenjene strasti prema nogometu" u toj zemlji.

"Prva kandidatura Saudijske Arabije za Svjetsko prvenstvo potpomognuta je sve većim iskustvom zemlje u domaćinstvu nogometnih događaja svjetske klase i njezinim tekućim planovima da poželi dobrodošlicu navijačima diljem svijeta na Svjetsko klupsko prvenstvo 2023. i Azijsko prvenstvo 2027," stoji u objavi Saudijskog nogometnog saveza.

Saudijska objava uslijedila je nedugo nakon što je FIFA imenovala Maroko, Španjolsku i Portugal domaćinima Svjetskog prvenstva 2030. godine, uz dodatak kako će se tri utakmice s tog World Cupa igrati u Urugvaju, Argentini i Paragvaju.

Nakon što je FIFA najavila kako će se SP 2034. održati u Aziji ili Oceaniji, predsjednik Azijske nogometne konfederacije Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa pozdravio je tu odluku.

"Čvrsto vjerujemo da to otvara put pravednijoj prilici za sve konfederacije da se natječu i budu domaćini prestižnog Svjetskog prvenstva," rekao je.

U posljednje vrijeme Saudijska Arabija ulaže stotine milijuna eura u razvoj nogometne infrastrukture, te igrače.

Samo u posljednjem prijalaznom roku klubovi Saudijske profesionalne lige (SPL) potrošili su više od 950 milijuna dolara na pojačanja. Potrošnja Saudijske Arabije u prijelaznom roku, koji je zatvoren 7. rujna, premašila je potrošnju četiriju europskih liga iz ‘iz  velike petice’, a samo je Premier liga ispred zemlje Bliskog istoka.

Ranije ove godine, Saudijski fond za javna ulaganja (PIF) najavio je Projekt ulaganja i privatizacije sportskih klubova koji uključuje Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli, Al-Nassr i Al-Hilal, s nizom vrhunskih igrača koji prelaze u saudijsku ligu.

PIF posjeduje 75 posto svakog od četiri kluba, dok njihove neprofitne zaklade posjeduju 25 posto svakog. Brojni vrhunski nogometaši, poput Cristiana Ronalda, Neymara i Karima Benzeme, našeg Marcela Brozovića nedavno su potpisali velike novčane ugovore s klubovima saudijske Pro lige.

Iduće Svjetsko prvenstvo 2026. godine, na kojem će sudjelovati 48 reprezentacija, održat će se u SAD, Meksiku i Kanadi.

Tek što je Međunarodna nogometna federacija (FIFA) pozvala zemlje iz Azije i Oceanije da predaju kandidature, Saudijska Arabija je najavila svoju kandidaturu za Svjetsko nogometno prvenstvo 2034. godine.

Nogometni savez Saudijske Arabije je objavio kako želi organizirati "turnir svjetske klase" dodavši kako će inspiraciju crpiti iz "duboko ukorijenjene strasti prema nogometu" u toj zemlji.

"Prva kandidatura Saudijske Arabije za Svjetsko prvenstvo potpomognuta je sve većim iskustvom zemlje u domaćinstvu nogometnih događaja svjetske klase i njezinim tekućim planovima da poželi dobrodošlicu navijačima diljem svijeta na Svjetsko klupsko prvenstvo 2023. i Azijsko prvenstvo 2027," stoji u objavi Saudijskog nogometnog saveza.

Saudijska objava uslijedila je nedugo nakon što je FIFA imenovala Maroko, Španjolsku i Portugal domaćinima Svjetskog prvenstva 2030. godine, uz dodatak kako će se tri utakmice s tog World Cupa igrati u Urugvaju, Argentini i Paragvaju.

Nakon što je FIFA najavila kako će se SP 2034. održati u Aziji ili Oceaniji, predsjednik Azijske nogometne konfederacije Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa pozdravio je tu odluku.

"Čvrsto vjerujemo da to otvara put pravednijoj prilici za sve konfederacije da se natječu i budu domaćini prestižnog Svjetskog prvenstva," rekao je.

U posljednje vrijeme Saudijska Arabija ulaže stotine milijuna eura u razvoj nogometne infrastrukture, te igrače.

Samo u posljednjem prijalaznom roku klubovi Saudijske profesionalne lige (SPL) potrošili su više od 950 milijuna dolara na pojačanja. Potrošnja Saudijske Arabije u prijelaznom roku, koji je zatvoren 7. rujna, premašila je potrošnju četiriju europskih liga iz ‘iz  velike petice’, a samo je Premier liga ispred zemlje Bliskog istoka.

Ranije ove godine, Saudijski fond za javna ulaganja (PIF) najavio je Projekt ulaganja i privatizacije sportskih klubova koji uključuje Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli, Al-Nassr i Al-Hilal, s nizom vrhunskih igrača koji prelaze u saudijsku ligu.

PIF posjeduje 75 posto svakog od četiri kluba, dok njihove neprofitne zaklade posjeduju 25 posto svakog. Brojni vrhunski nogometaši, poput Cristiana Ronalda, Neymara i Karima Benzeme, našeg Marcela Brozovića nedavno su potpisali velike novčane ugovore s klubovima saudijske Pro lige.

Iduće Svjetsko prvenstvo 2026. godine, na kojem će sudjelovati 48 reprezentacija, održat će se u SAD, Meksiku i Kanadi.

Saudijska Arabija najavila kandidaturu za Svjetsko prvenstvo

Tek što je Međunarodna nogometna federacija (FIFA) pozvala zemlje iz Azije i Oceanije da predaju kandidature, Saudijska Arabija je najavila svoju kandidaturu za Svjetsko nogometno prvenstvo 2034. godine.

Nogometni savez Saudijske Arabije je objavio kako želi organizirati "turnir svjetske klase" dodavši kako će inspiraciju crpiti iz "duboko ukorijenjene strasti prema nogometu" u toj zemlji.

"Prva kandidatura Saudijske Arabije za Svjetsko prvenstvo potpomognuta je sve većim iskustvom zemlje u domaćinstvu nogometnih događaja svjetske klase i njezinim tekućim planovima da poželi dobrodošlicu navijačima diljem svijeta na Svjetsko klupsko prvenstvo 2023. i Azijsko prvenstvo 2027," stoji u objavi Saudijskog nogometnog saveza.

Saudijska objava uslijedila je nedugo nakon što je FIFA imenovala Maroko, Španjolsku i Portugal domaćinima Svjetskog prvenstva 2030. godine, uz dodatak kako će se tri utakmice s tog World Cupa igrati u Urugvaju, Argentini i Paragvaju.

Nakon što je FIFA najavila kako će se SP 2034. održati u Aziji ili Oceaniji, predsjednik Azijske nogometne konfederacije Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa pozdravio je tu odluku.

"Čvrsto vjerujemo da to otvara put pravednijoj prilici za sve konfederacije da se natječu i budu domaćini prestižnog Svjetskog prvenstva," rekao je.

U posljednje vrijeme Saudijska Arabija ulaže stotine milijuna eura u razvoj nogometne infrastrukture, te igrače.

Samo u posljednjem prijalaznom roku klubovi Saudijske profesionalne lige (SPL) potrošili su više od 950 milijuna dolara na pojačanja. Potrošnja Saudijske Arabije u prijelaznom roku, koji je zatvoren 7. rujna, premašila je potrošnju četiriju europskih liga iz ‘iz  velike petice’, a samo je Premier liga ispred zemlje Bliskog istoka.

Ranije ove godine, Saudijski fond za javna ulaganja (PIF) najavio je Projekt ulaganja i privatizacije sportskih klubova koji uključuje Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli, Al-Nassr i Al-Hilal, s nizom vrhunskih igrača koji prelaze u saudijsku ligu.
