Hrvatski bek Josip Juranović otišao je siječanjskom prijelaznom roku iz Celtica u Union Berlin u transferu koji bi mogao doseći i 12 milijuna eura. Juranović je rekao škotskim novinarima da mu je bilo teško otići jer je izgradio tako dobar odnos s navijačima Celtica.

Međutim, smatrao je da nije imao mogućnosti ostati jer nije želio igrati drugu violinu Alistairu Johnstonu, koji je doveden u transferu teškom oko 3,5 milijuna eura. Juranović je bio zapanjen kada je čuo da Celtic kreće za Kanađaninom - pišu Sportske novosti.

- Imao sam stvarno dobar odnos s navijačima. Stvarno mi se svidjelo. Bilo je teško krenuti, ali takav je život. Bio sam malo tužan što me Celtic nije pokušao zadržati kao igrača. Ali to je nogomet. Ne možete znati svoju budućnost - kazao je Juranović za Daily Record te nastavio:

- Da budem iskren, bio sam malo iznenađen jer sam igrao na Svjetskom prvenstvu i pripremao se za sljedeću utakmicu. Neki od mojih prijatelja su me nazvali i rekli da su potpisali novog beka. Samo sam to ostavio po strani i koncentrirao se na Svjetsko prvenstvo, jer je to najveća pozornica u nogometu i želio sam odigrati dobro. Nije mi bilo svejedno glede Celtica, imali bismo tri beka, netko će biti na klupi, a netko na tribinama sa svojom obitelji.

- Neke stvari mi se nisu sviđale zbog reprezentacije. Ako ne igraš redovito za svoj klub, nećeš dobiti poziv za reprezentaciju. To je glavni razlog zašto sam otišao.

Juranovića su povezivali s vrhunskim klubovima u Engleskoj kao što su Manchester United i Chelsea, a navijači Celtica bili su zapanjeni kada se odlučio za Union Berlin, unatoč tome što je njemačka momčad u borbi za mjesta u Ligi prvaka.

- Nisam puno razmišljao o svojoj situaciji jer sam prvo imao Svjetsko prvenstvo i bio sam potpuno koncentriran na to. Onda sam čitao neke vijesti da ću ići u, ne znam, Man. United, Chelsea i tako dalje. Ali trebamo biti realni. Ovo je bio pravi potez za mene s moje strane. Nikada u karijeri nisam skočio dvije stepenice unaprijed. Uvijek idem korak pa korak, nadograđujući svoju karijeru. Želim igrati nogomet i to je glavni razlog zašto sam ovdje.

Juranović je inzistirao na tome da nema ljutnje na Postecogloua i priznao je da će Celtic uvijek imati mjesto u njegovom srcu.

Hrvatski bek Josip Juranović otišao je siječanjskom prijelaznom roku iz Celtica u Union Berlin u transferu koji bi mogao doseći i 12 milijuna eura. Juranović je rekao škotskim novinarima da mu je bilo teško otići jer je izgradio tako dobar odnos s navijačima Celtica.

Međutim, smatrao je da nije imao mogućnosti ostati jer nije želio igrati drugu violinu Alistairu Johnstonu, koji je doveden u transferu teškom oko 3,5 milijuna eura. Juranović je bio zapanjen kada je čuo da Celtic kreće za Kanađaninom - pišu Sportske novosti.

- Imao sam stvarno dobar odnos s navijačima. Stvarno mi se svidjelo. Bilo je teško krenuti, ali takav je život. Bio sam malo tužan što me Celtic nije pokušao zadržati kao igrača. Ali to je nogomet. Ne možete znati svoju budućnost - kazao je Juranović za Daily Record te nastavio:

- Da budem iskren, bio sam malo iznenađen jer sam igrao na Svjetskom prvenstvu i pripremao se za sljedeću utakmicu. Neki od mojih prijatelja su me nazvali i rekli da su potpisali novog beka. Samo sam to ostavio po strani i koncentrirao se na Svjetsko prvenstvo, jer je to najveća pozornica u nogometu i želio sam odigrati dobro. Nije mi bilo svejedno glede Celtica, imali bismo tri beka, netko će biti na klupi, a netko na tribinama sa svojom obitelji.

- Neke stvari mi se nisu sviđale zbog reprezentacije. Ako ne igraš redovito za svoj klub, nećeš dobiti poziv za reprezentaciju. To je glavni razlog zašto sam otišao.

Juranovića su povezivali s vrhunskim klubovima u Engleskoj kao što su Manchester United i Chelsea, a navijači Celtica bili su zapanjeni kada se odlučio za Union Berlin, unatoč tome što je njemačka momčad u borbi za mjesta u Ligi prvaka.

- Nisam puno razmišljao o svojoj situaciji jer sam prvo imao Svjetsko prvenstvo i bio sam potpuno koncentriran na to. Onda sam čitao neke vijesti da ću ići u, ne znam, Man. United, Chelsea i tako dalje. Ali trebamo biti realni. Ovo je bio pravi potez za mene s moje strane. Nikada u karijeri nisam skočio dvije stepenice unaprijed. Uvijek idem korak pa korak, nadograđujući svoju karijeru. Želim igrati nogomet i to je glavni razlog zašto sam ovdje.

Juranović je inzistirao na tome da nema ljutnje na Postecogloua i priznao je da će Celtic uvijek imati mjesto u njegovom srcu.

‘Nije mi bilo svejedno‘: Juranović otkrio razlog odlaska iz Celtica i zašto je odabrao baš Union Berlin

Hrvatski bek Josip Juranović otišao je siječanjskom prijelaznom roku iz Celtica u Union Berlin u transferu koji bi mogao doseći i 12 milijuna eura. Juranović je rekao škotskim novinarima da mu je bilo teško otići jer je izgradio tako dobar odnos s navijačima Celtica.

Međutim, smatrao je da nije imao mogućnosti ostati jer nije želio igrati drugu violinu Alistairu Johnstonu, koji je doveden u transferu teškom oko 3,5 milijuna eura. Juranović je bio zapanjen kada je čuo da Celtic kreće za Kanađaninom - pišu Sportske novosti.

- Imao sam stvarno dobar odnos s navijačima. Stvarno mi se svidjelo. Bilo je teško krenuti, ali takav je život. Bio sam malo tužan što me Celtic nije pokušao zadržati kao igrača. Ali to je nogomet. Ne možete znati svoju budućnost - kazao je Juranović...
