Kapetan hrvatske nogometne reprezentacije Luka Modrić (38) primio je u ponedjeljak u Madridu nagradu sportskih novina AS za postignuća ostvarena tijekom proteklih 10 godina, prilikom čega je rekao da je sretan Real Madridu, ali je odbio govoriti o budućnosti.

Modrić je osvojio 23 trofeja od kada je došao u Real Madrid u ljeto 2012. godine.

Voditeljica svečanosti, održane u kazalištu Teatro Real u središtu grada, rekla je u najavi da je u Real Madridu "teško igrati deset mjeseci, a zamislite tek deset godina".

Modrić, u crnom sakou i bijeloj košulji, na podiju je primio statuu u obliku slova AS, prilikom čega je zahvalio tim novinama, svim trenerima i navijačima.

"Jako se dobro osjećam, uživam u svakom trenutku, u najboljem klubu na svijetu", rekao je Modrić.

Voditeljica ga je upitala hoće li ostati u Real Madridu nakon što mu za šest mjeseci istekne ugovor, nakon čega je u dvorani uslijedilo veliko iščekivanje odgovora.

"Nije trenutak za govoriti o tome. Živim u sadašnjosti, usredotočen sam na ono što mi sada slijedi, a vidjet ćemo što će biti u budućnosti", odgovorio je Modrić.

On sam se nasmijao, kao i prisutni, na takav odgovor na što je voditeljica rekla da se ona nada da će i nakon 30. lipnja igrati za Real Madrid.

"Kraljevski klub", s kojim je Modrić osvojio pet liga prvaka, plasirao se u osminu finala tog natjecanja sa svih šest pobjeda u skupini nad Napolijem, Bragom i Union Berlinom.

Modrić je rekao da bi bio "nevjerojatan" uspjeh da i ove godine dođu do pehara Lige prvaka.

U osmini finala će u veljači igrati protiv njemačkog Leipziga kojeg je hrvatski veznjak nazvao "teškim protivnikom".

"Dobri su u svojoj ligi. No prije toga moramo se baviti drugim stvarima, prvenstvom i kupom", izjavila je "desetka" Real Madrida.

Madridskoj momčadi, drugoplasiranoj u prvenstvu, u nedjelju se teško ozlijedio branič David Alaba pa sada ima sedam ozlijeđenih igrača.

"Imali smo nesreću s ozljedama. Želim im svima brzi oporavak, posebno Davidu koji se jučer tako ozlijedio. Nadam se da će se svi brzo oporaviti", izjavio je Modrić.

Hrvatskom reprezentativcu posljednjem je uručena nagradu AS-a, na svečanosti koja je trajala dva sata.

Te novine, sa sjedištem u Madridu, 17. put su dodijelile priznanja pojedincima i timovima za postignuća u 2023. godini, te općenito u karijeri.

Modrić je rekao da mu je zadovoljstvo biti među svim tim uspješnim sportašima. Dodijeljena je ukupno 21 nagrada.

Među nagrađenima je nogometna reprezentacija Argentine, koja je prije godinu dana osvojila Svjetsko prvenstvo, nakon što je u polufinalu pobijedila Hrvatsku sa 3-0.

Kipić su u ime "Gauča" primili su igrači Atletico Madrida - Rodrigo de Paul, Nahuel Molina i Angel Correa - napomenuvši da su presretni kada se sjete trenutka osvajanja naslova.

Priznanje je otišlo i reprezentaciji Španjolske koja je prije šest mjeseci finalnom pobjedom nad Hrvatskom, na jedanaesterce, osvojila Ligu nacija.

Na podij je izašao Modrićev suigrač iz Real Madrida, trenutno ozlijeđeni Dani Carvajal, koji je u Rotterdamu izveo posljednji jedanaesterac svladavši ‘panenkom‘ vratara Dominika Livakovića.

"Taj udarac je bio nesvakidašnji, jer ga nije očekivao protivnik", rekao je Carvajal. "Žao mi je zbog Luke koji je ovdje i kojem šaljem snažan zagrljaj", dodao je.

Španjolska i Hrvatska će se opet susresti 15. lipnja na Europskom prvenstvu u Njemačkoj, a izbornik Luis de la Fuente i kapetan Alvaro Morata poručili su u ponedjeljak da će nastojati osvojiti to natjecanje.

"Nadam se da ćemo nastaviti osvajati titule. To nam je cilj", istaknuo je Morata, napadač Atletica.

Nagradu su dobili i košarkaši Real Madrida, za koje nastupa hrvatski reprezentativac Mario Hezonja, jer su prošle sezone osvojili Euroligu. Njihov bivši suigrač Felipe Reyes primio je statuu u ime momčadi poručivši da je ekipa jednako dobro ušla u ovu sezonu, ali da je ona duga pa se svašta još može dogoditi.

Među laureatima je i španjolska juniorska rukometna reprezentacija koja se ove godine okitila zlatom u Hrvatskoj na Svjetskom prvenstvu. Na podiju su bili braća Petar i Đorđe Cikuša, rođeni u Kataloniji, a koji imaju i hrvatsko te srpsko državljanstvo.

Kapetan hrvatske nogometne reprezentacije Luka Modrić (38) primio je u ponedjeljak u Madridu nagradu sportskih novina AS za postignuća ostvarena tijekom proteklih 10 godina, prilikom čega je rekao da je sretan Real Madridu, ali je odbio govoriti o budućnosti.

Modrić je osvojio 23 trofeja od kada je došao u Real Madrid u ljeto 2012. godine.

Voditeljica svečanosti, održane u kazalištu Teatro Real u središtu grada, rekla je u najavi da je u Real Madridu "teško igrati deset mjeseci, a zamislite tek deset godina".

Modrić, u crnom sakou i bijeloj košulji, na podiju je primio statuu u obliku slova AS, prilikom čega je zahvalio tim novinama, svim trenerima i navijačima.

"Jako se dobro osjećam, uživam u svakom trenutku, u najboljem klubu na svijetu", rekao je Modrić.

Voditeljica ga je upitala hoće li ostati u Real Madridu nakon što mu za šest mjeseci istekne ugovor, nakon čega je u dvorani uslijedilo veliko iščekivanje odgovora.

"Nije trenutak za govoriti o tome. Živim u sadašnjosti, usredotočen sam na ono što mi sada slijedi, a vidjet ćemo što će biti u budućnosti", odgovorio je Modrić.

On sam se nasmijao, kao i prisutni, na takav odgovor na što je voditeljica rekla da se ona nada da će i nakon 30. lipnja igrati za Real Madrid.

"Kraljevski klub", s kojim je Modrić osvojio pet liga prvaka, plasirao se u osminu finala tog natjecanja sa svih šest pobjeda u skupini nad Napolijem, Bragom i Union Berlinom.

Modrić je rekao da bi bio "nevjerojatan" uspjeh da i ove godine dođu do pehara Lige prvaka.

U osmini finala će u veljači igrati protiv njemačkog Leipziga kojeg je hrvatski veznjak nazvao "teškim protivnikom".

"Dobri su u svojoj ligi. No prije toga moramo se baviti drugim stvarima, prvenstvom i kupom", izjavila je "desetka" Real Madrida.

Madridskoj momčadi, drugoplasiranoj u prvenstvu, u nedjelju se teško ozlijedio branič David Alaba pa sada ima sedam ozlijeđenih igrača.

"Imali smo nesreću s ozljedama. Želim im svima brzi oporavak, posebno Davidu koji se jučer tako ozlijedio. Nadam se da će se svi brzo oporaviti", izjavio je Modrić.

Hrvatskom reprezentativcu posljednjem je uručena nagradu AS-a, na svečanosti koja je trajala dva sata.

Te novine, sa sjedištem u Madridu, 17. put su dodijelile priznanja pojedincima i timovima za postignuća u 2023. godini, te općenito u karijeri.

Modrić je rekao da mu je zadovoljstvo biti među svim tim uspješnim sportašima. Dodijeljena je ukupno 21 nagrada.

Među nagrađenima je nogometna reprezentacija Argentine, koja je prije godinu dana osvojila Svjetsko prvenstvo, nakon što je u polufinalu pobijedila Hrvatsku sa 3-0.

Kipić su u ime "Gauča" primili su igrači Atletico Madrida - Rodrigo de Paul, Nahuel Molina i Angel Correa - napomenuvši da su presretni kada se sjete trenutka osvajanja naslova.

Priznanje je otišlo i reprezentaciji Španjolske koja je prije šest mjeseci finalnom pobjedom nad Hrvatskom, na jedanaesterce, osvojila Ligu nacija.

Na podij je izašao Modrićev suigrač iz Real Madrida, trenutno ozlijeđeni Dani Carvajal, koji je u Rotterdamu izveo posljednji jedanaesterac svladavši ‘panenkom‘ vratara Dominika Livakovića.

"Taj udarac je bio nesvakidašnji, jer ga nije očekivao protivnik", rekao je Carvajal. "Žao mi je zbog Luke koji je ovdje i kojem šaljem snažan zagrljaj", dodao je.

Španjolska i Hrvatska će se opet susresti 15. lipnja na Europskom prvenstvu u Njemačkoj, a izbornik Luis de la Fuente i kapetan Alvaro Morata poručili su u ponedjeljak da će nastojati osvojiti to natjecanje.

"Nadam se da ćemo nastaviti osvajati titule. To nam je cilj", istaknuo je Morata, napadač Atletica.

Nagradu su dobili i košarkaši Real Madrida, za koje nastupa hrvatski reprezentativac Mario Hezonja, jer su prošle sezone osvojili Euroligu. Njihov bivši suigrač Felipe Reyes primio je statuu u ime momčadi poručivši da je ekipa jednako dobro ušla u ovu sezonu, ali da je ona duga pa se svašta još može dogoditi.

Među laureatima je i španjolska juniorska rukometna reprezentacija koja se ove godine okitila zlatom u Hrvatskoj na Svjetskom prvenstvu. Na podiju su bili braća Petar i Đorđe Cikuša, rođeni u Kataloniji, a koji imaju i hrvatsko te srpsko državljanstvo.
