Izdašne novčane ponude vlasnika nogometnih klubova u Saudijskoj Arabiji privukle su još jedno veliko ime, nekadašnjeg proslavljenog engleskog reprezentativca i kapetana Liverpoola Stevena Gerrarda, koji je pristao preuzeti ulogu glavnog trenera u Al-Ettifaqu, objavili su u ponedjeljak na službenom mrežnom portalu sedmoplasirane momčadi u prošloj sezoni suadijskog prvenstva. 

"Ovdje možete naći legende. Uzbuđeni smo što možemo objaviti da je Steven Gerrard naš novi trener", objavio je klub na Twitteru.

"Trofeji mu nisu strani. Legenda koja u Ettifaq donosi slavnu povijest i uzbudljivu budućnost", dodali su iz momčadi koja sjedište ima u Damamu, petom najvećem gradu u Saudijskoj Arabiji, važnoj luci na obali Perzijskog zaljeva.

Gerrard je s Al-Ettifaqom potpisao dvogodišnji ugovor. Za 43-godišnjeg trenera ovo će biti treći angažman u seniorskoj momčadi, nakon što je tri godine (2018. - 2021.) vodio Rangers i donio mu prvi naslov prvaka Škotske nakon desetogodišnjeg posta, a potom godinu dana proveo na klupi Aston Ville, s koje je otišao u listopadu 2022.

Gerrardov dolazak posljednji je u nizu velikih transfera, prvenstveno u igračkom kadru, koji su uslijedili nakon što je u prosincu Cristiano Ronaldo potpisao ugovor s Al-Nassrom u kojem mu se u ponedjeljak pridružio hrvatski reprezentativac Marcelo Brozović.

Gerrard u svom igračkom kadru nema igrače takve reputacije. Među stranim igračima u svlačionici će zateći makedonskog stopera Darka Velkovskog, koji je prošle godine došao u Al-Ettifaq iz Rijeke.

Izdašne novčane ponude vlasnika nogometnih klubova u Saudijskoj Arabiji privukle su još jedno veliko ime, nekadašnjeg proslavljenog engleskog reprezentativca i kapetana Liverpoola Stevena Gerrarda, koji je pristao preuzeti ulogu glavnog trenera u Al-Ettifaqu, objavili su u ponedjeljak na službenom mrežnom portalu sedmoplasirane momčadi u prošloj sezoni suadijskog prvenstva. 

"Ovdje možete naći legende. Uzbuđeni smo što možemo objaviti da je Steven Gerrard naš novi trener", objavio je klub na Twitteru.

"Trofeji mu nisu strani. Legenda koja u Ettifaq donosi slavnu povijest i uzbudljivu budućnost", dodali su iz momčadi koja sjedište ima u Damamu, petom najvećem gradu u Saudijskoj Arabiji, važnoj luci na obali Perzijskog zaljeva.

Gerrard je s Al-Ettifaqom potpisao dvogodišnji ugovor. Za 43-godišnjeg trenera ovo će biti treći angažman u seniorskoj momčadi, nakon što je tri godine (2018. - 2021.) vodio Rangers i donio mu prvi naslov prvaka Škotske nakon desetogodišnjeg posta, a potom godinu dana proveo na klupi Aston Ville, s koje je otišao u listopadu 2022.

Gerrardov dolazak posljednji je u nizu velikih transfera, prvenstveno u igračkom kadru, koji su uslijedili nakon što je u prosincu Cristiano Ronaldo potpisao ugovor s Al-Nassrom u kojem mu se u ponedjeljak pridružio hrvatski reprezentativac Marcelo Brozović.

Gerrard u svom igračkom kadru nema igrače takve reputacije. Među stranim igračima u svlačionici će zateći makedonskog stopera Darka Velkovskog, koji je prošle godine došao u Al-Ettifaq iz Rijeke.

Još jedna nogometna legenda otišla u Saudijsku Arabiju na dvije godine

Izdašne novčane ponude vlasnika nogometnih klubova u Saudijskoj Arabiji privukle su još jedno veliko ime, nekadašnjeg proslavljenog engleskog reprezentativca i kapetana Liverpoola Stevena Gerrarda, koji je pristao preuzeti ulogu glavnog trenera u Al-Ettifaqu, objavili su u ponedjeljak na službenom mrežnom portalu sedmoplasirane momčadi u prošloj sezoni suadijskog prvenstva. 

"Ovdje možete naći legende. Uzbuđeni smo što možemo objaviti da je Steven Gerrard naš novi trener", objavio je klub na Twitteru.

"Trofeji mu nisu strani. Legenda koja u Ettifaq donosi slavnu povijest i uzbudljivu budućnost", dodali su iz momčadi koja sjedište ima u Damamu, petom najvećem gradu u Saudijskoj Arabiji, važnoj luci na obali Perzijskog zaljeva.

Gerrard je s Al-Ettifaqom potpisao dvogodišnji ugovor. Za 43-godišnjeg trenera ovo će biti treći angažman u seniorskoj momčadi, nakon što je tri godine (2018. - 2021.) vodio Rangers i donio mu prvi naslov prvaka Škotske nakon desetogodišnjeg posta, a potom godinu dana proveo na klupi Aston Ville, s koje je otišao u listopadu 2022.

Gerrardov dolazak posljednji je u nizu velikih transfera, prvenstveno u igračkom kadru, koji su uslijedili nakon što je u prosincu Cristiano Ronaldo potpisao ugovor s Al-Nassrom u kojem mu se u ponedjeljak pridružio hrvatski reprezentativac Marcelo Brozović.

Gerrard u svom igračkom kadru nema igrače takve reputacije. Među stranim igračima u svlačionici će zateći makedonskog stopera Darka Velkovskog, koji je prošle godine došao u Al-Ettifaq iz Rijeke.
