Nismo se osramotili i odlazimo sa Europskog prvenstva ponosni i uzdignuta čela. Odigrali smo dobru utakmicu, nedostajalo je malo, ali na kraju sasvim dovoljno za oproštaj s prvenstva.
Početna postava Slavena Bilića bila je sasvim logičan izbor, ipak smo igrali protiv momčadi čija je reputacija strašna, reprezentacije koja je sigurno najbolja u kombinatorici. Ne vjerujem da bi se bilo koji drugi trener odlučio otvorena garda krenuti u dvoboj protiv Španjolaca. To je bio odličan izbor igrača i postava igre, pravo rješenje.
Odluka da Vida bude branič-stoper, Srna na boku u vezi s defanzivnim zadacima, uz dobro igranje na sredini terena činili su nas defanzivno jako moćno, no naravno nismo mogli biti dobri prema naprijed. Bili smo u prvom poluvremenu potpuno neopasni.
Mislim da je tu najveća pogreška bila igra Marija Mandžukića, prvenstveno taktički, jer se previše vraćao prema obrani ili izvlačio na bočne pozicije. Tu se previše trošio, gubio snagu, umjesto da kao centralni napadač bude između dva stopera Ramosa i Pique, njih dvojicu veže za sebe i čeka "u boksu" priliku kako bi im pobjegao i došao u pravu šansu. Uz to ni Luka Modrić nam u prvom poluvremenu nije bio ofenzivno dobar, nedostajalo je više kontrole lopte i distribucije prema naprijed.
Očekivao sam da ćemo odmah na početku drugog poluvremena preuzeti malo veći rizik, uvođenjem Perišića na kao krilnog napadača, s njim bi i Mandžukić bio ubojitiji, dobio bi potporu. U kasnijoj fazi igre bi pojačao ritam sa Jelavićem i Da Silvom i krenuo na "sve ili ništa".
Izmjena kod Španjolaca kada je igru napustio Torres, a ušao Navas je bio pravi znak da su se i "furije" malo uplašile, da su počeli zatvarati susret i napuniti sredinu terena s tehnički jakim igračima kako bi čuvali loptu. Da je umjesto Torresa ušao Llorente bilo bi to logičan izbor, ali ovo je bilo jasno kao dan da je Španjolcima "nula" dovoljno i da im je prvenstveno na pameti sačuvati svoju mrežu.
Jedina, po meni, pogreška je izvlačenje Vukojevića iz igre. Trebalo je povući Rakitića i ubaciti Da Silvu jer je Vukojević odlično držao defanzivni blok u sredini terena i njegovim izlaženje smo imali "mekan trbuh". Upravo sa te pozicije koju je držao Vukojević nam je Fabregas podvalio loptu u prostor za pogodak.
No gledajući sve ukupno, ostavili smo izuzetno dobar dojam i prava je šteta što nakon ovako dobre predstave nismo izborili četvrtfinale jer smo zaslužili biti u oktetu najboljih na Starom kontinentu..

Nismo se osramotili i odlazimo sa Europskog prvenstva ponosni i uzdignuta čela. Odigrali smo dobru utakmicu, nedostajalo je malo, ali na kraju sasvim dovoljno za oproštaj s prvenstva.
Početna postava Slavena Bilića bila je sasvim logičan izbor, ipak smo igrali protiv momčadi čija je reputacija strašna, reprezentacije koja je sigurno najbolja u kombinatorici. Ne vjerujem da bi se bilo koji drugi trener odlučio otvorena garda krenuti u dvoboj protiv Španjolaca. To je bio odličan izbor igrača i postava igre, pravo rješenje.
Odluka da Vida bude branič-stoper, Srna na boku u vezi s defanzivnim zadacima, uz dobro igranje na sredini terena činili su nas defanzivno jako moćno, no naravno nismo mogli biti dobri prema naprijed. Bili smo u prvom poluvremenu potpuno neopasni.
Mislim da je tu najveća pogreška bila igra Marija Mandžukića, prvenstveno taktički, jer se previše vraćao prema obrani ili izvlačio na bočne pozicije. Tu se previše trošio, gubio snagu, umjesto da kao centralni napadač bude između dva stopera Ramosa i Pique, njih dvojicu veže za sebe i čeka "u boksu" priliku kako bi im pobjegao i došao u pravu šansu. Uz to ni Luka Modrić nam u prvom poluvremenu nije bio ofenzivno dobar, nedostajalo je više kontrole lopte i distribucije prema naprijed.
Očekivao sam da ćemo odmah na početku drugog poluvremena preuzeti malo veći rizik, uvođenjem Perišića na kao krilnog napadača, s njim bi i Mandžukić bio ubojitiji, dobio bi potporu. U kasnijoj fazi igre bi pojačao ritam sa Jelavićem i Da Silvom i krenuo na "sve ili ništa".
Izmjena kod Španjolaca kada je igru napustio Torres, a ušao Navas je bio pravi znak da su se i "furije" malo uplašile, da su počeli zatvarati susret i napuniti sredinu terena s tehnički jakim igračima kako bi čuvali loptu. Da je umjesto Torresa ušao Llorente bilo bi to logičan izbor, ali ovo je bilo jasno kao dan da je Španjolcima "nula" dovoljno i da im je prvenstveno na pameti sačuvati svoju mrežu.
Jedina, po meni, pogreška je izvlačenje Vukojevića iz igre. Trebalo je povući Rakitića i ubaciti Da Silvu jer je Vukojević odlično držao defanzivni blok u sredini terena i njegovim izlaženje smo imali "mekan trbuh". Upravo sa te pozicije koju je držao Vukojević nam je Fabregas podvalio loptu u prostor za pogodak.
No gledajući sve ukupno, ostavili smo izuzetno dobar dojam i prava je šteta što nakon ovako dobre predstave nismo izborili četvrtfinale jer smo zaslužili biti u oktetu najboljih na Starom kontinentu..
