Argentinski nogometni velikan River Plate odigrao je jednu od najneobičnijih utakmica u klupskoj povijesti.

U susretu petog kola D skupine Copa Libertadores, južnoameričke verzije Lige prvaka, River je protiv kolumbijskog Santa Fea igrao sa samo 11 igrača, te veznjakom na vratima.

River Plate je imao čak 15 igrača, među kojima i sva četiri vratara, pozitivnih na koronavirus. Zahtjev kluba da registriraju dva nova vratara je odbijen, pa je trener Marcelo Gallardo na raspolaganju imao samo 11 igrača pri čemu dva juniora.

Premda nisu imali vratara, niti zamjena, River Plate je pobijedio sa 2-1.

Branio je veznjak Enzo Perez, hrvatskim navijačima poznat sa svjetskog prvenstva u Rusiji 2018. godine. Perez je naime u susretu između "Vatrenih" i "Gauča" u 30 minuti pri rezultatu 0-0 promašio veliku priliku za Argentinu.

"Nisam puno razmišljao o cijeloj ovoj situaciji. Pokušao sam se usredotočiti samo na pomaganje momčadi. Ali znam da će se odućih dana puno govoriti o ovoj utakmici," kazao je Perez nakon utakmice za argentinske medije.

River Plate je protiv Santa Fea poveo u 3. minuti golom Fabrizia Angilerija, a već u šestoj minuti je bilo 2-0 nakon što je zabio Julian Alvarez. Gosti su smanjili u 73. minuti preko Kelvina Osorija.

"Današnji dan nikada nije doživljen. Nije bilo normalno igrati u uvjetima u kojima smo to učinili. Preostaje mi samo istaknuti srca naših igrača, koji su pomagali jedni drugima," kazao je Gallardo.

Otkrio je i zašto je izabrao baš Pereza za "jedinicu".

"Imali smo samo 11 igrača, a Perez nije bio maksimalno spreman. Imao je lakšu ozljedu i zbog toga nije mogao igrati u polju. Srećom, sve je prošlo dobro," dodao je.

Klub iz Buenos Airesa vodi u skupini sa devet bodova, brazilski Fluminense ima osam, kolumbijski Junior šest, a na začelju je Santa Fe sa dva boda.

Argentinski nogometni velikan River Plate odigrao je jednu od najneobičnijih utakmica u klupskoj povijesti.

U susretu petog kola D skupine Copa Libertadores, južnoameričke verzije Lige prvaka, River je protiv kolumbijskog Santa Fea igrao sa samo 11 igrača, te veznjakom na vratima.

River Plate je imao čak 15 igrača, među kojima i sva četiri vratara, pozitivnih na koronavirus. Zahtjev kluba da registriraju dva nova vratara je odbijen, pa je trener Marcelo Gallardo na raspolaganju imao samo 11 igrača pri čemu dva juniora.

Premda nisu imali vratara, niti zamjena, River Plate je pobijedio sa 2-1.

Branio je veznjak Enzo Perez, hrvatskim navijačima poznat sa svjetskog prvenstva u Rusiji 2018. godine. Perez je naime u susretu između "Vatrenih" i "Gauča" u 30 minuti pri rezultatu 0-0 promašio veliku priliku za Argentinu.

"Nisam puno razmišljao o cijeloj ovoj situaciji. Pokušao sam se usredotočiti samo na pomaganje momčadi. Ali znam da će se odućih dana puno govoriti o ovoj utakmici," kazao je Perez nakon utakmice za argentinske medije.

River Plate je protiv Santa Fea poveo u 3. minuti golom Fabrizia Angilerija, a već u šestoj minuti je bilo 2-0 nakon što je zabio Julian Alvarez. Gosti su smanjili u 73. minuti preko Kelvina Osorija.

"Današnji dan nikada nije doživljen. Nije bilo normalno igrati u uvjetima u kojima smo to učinili. Preostaje mi samo istaknuti srca naših igrača, koji su pomagali jedni drugima," kazao je Gallardo.

Otkrio je i zašto je izabrao baš Pereza za "jedinicu".

"Imali smo samo 11 igrača, a Perez nije bio maksimalno spreman. Imao je lakšu ozljedu i zbog toga nije mogao igrati u polju. Srećom, sve je prošlo dobro," dodao je.

Klub iz Buenos Airesa vodi u skupini sa devet bodova, brazilski Fluminense ima osam, kolumbijski Junior šest, a na začelju je Santa Fe sa dva boda.

Argentinski nogometni velikan River Plate odigrao je jednu od najneobičnijih utakmica u klupskoj povijesti.

U susretu petog kola D skupine Copa Libertadores, južnoameričke verzije Lige prvaka, River je protiv kolumbijskog Santa Fea igrao sa samo 11 igrača, te veznjakom na vratima.

River Plate je imao čak 15 igrača, među kojima i sva četiri vratara, pozitivnih na koronavirus. Zahtjev kluba da registriraju dva nova vratara je odbijen, pa je trener Marcelo Gallardo na raspolaganju imao samo 11 igrača pri čemu dva juniora.
