Britanski BBC vratio je u ponedjeljak svog najplaćenijeg voditelja Garyja Linekera nakon što je potez da se sportskog voditelja ukloni iz programa zbog njegove kritike vlade izazvao gotovo pobunu na javnom servisu, piše Reuters.

Korporacija je tijekom vikenda bila prisiljena ukinuti veliki dio svog sportskog pokrivanja nakon što su voditelji, stručnjaci i komentatori odbili raditi u znak solidarnosti s Linekerom, koji je kritizirao vladinu useljeničku politiku.

Odluka o suspenziji Linekera dovela je do optužbi osoblja, oporbenih političara i komentatora da je politički neutralni BBC popustio pod pritiskom vlade, što je natjeralo premijera Rishija Sunaka da intervenira i kaže kako se nada da će se situacija uskoro riješiti.

Također je ponovno usredotočeno na predsjednika korporacije, Richarda Sharpa, koji je propustio prethodno izjaviti da je omogućio zajam bivšem premijeru Borisu Johnsonu neposredno prije nego što ga je vlada imenovala na tu ulogu.

Sharp nije komentirao svađu otkako je eksplodirala prošli tjedan. BBC je rekao da će također razmotriti kako freelanceri poput Linekera, u područjima izvan vijesti, mogu koristiti društvene medije.

"Prezentiram sport na BBC-ju gotovo tri desetljeća i neizmjerno sam ponosan što radim s najboljim i najpoštenijim emiterom na svijetu", rekao je Lineker, prije nego što se vratio na temu imigracije.

"Posljednja misao: koliko god teški bili posljednjih nekoliko dana, to se jednostavno ne može usporediti s potrebom da napustite svoj dom od progona ili rata kako biste potražili utočište u dalekoj zemlji."

Javno financirani BBC suspendirao je Linekera zbog kršenja svojih pravila o nepristranosti uspoređujući retoriku britanske ministrice unutarnjih poslova Suelle Braverman s jezikom koji se koristio u Njemačkoj 1930-ih.

Prošle godine Braverman se suočila s reakcijom javnosti kada je dolazak tisuća tražitelja azila u južnu Englesku na malim brodicama nazvala "invazijom".

Glavni direktor BBC-ja, Tim Davie se ispričao zbog cijele situacije: “Svi shvaćaju da je ovo bilo teško razdoblje za osoblje, suradnike, voditelje i, što je najvažnije, našu publiku. Ispričavam se zbog ovoga. Potencijalna zbrka uzrokovana nejasnim BBC-jevim smjernicama za društvene medije koje su uvedene 2020. prepoznata je. Želim riješiti stvari i vratiti naš sportski sadržaj u eter."

Britanski BBC vratio je u ponedjeljak svog najplaćenijeg voditelja Garyja Linekera nakon što je potez da se sportskog voditelja ukloni iz programa zbog njegove kritike vlade izazvao gotovo pobunu na javnom servisu, piše Reuters.

Korporacija je tijekom vikenda bila prisiljena ukinuti veliki dio svog sportskog pokrivanja nakon što su voditelji, stručnjaci i komentatori odbili raditi u znak solidarnosti s Linekerom, koji je kritizirao vladinu useljeničku politiku.

Odluka o suspenziji Linekera dovela je do optužbi osoblja, oporbenih političara i komentatora da je politički neutralni BBC popustio pod pritiskom vlade, što je natjeralo premijera Rishija Sunaka da intervenira i kaže kako se nada da će se situacija uskoro riješiti.

Također je ponovno usredotočeno na predsjednika korporacije, Richarda Sharpa, koji je propustio prethodno izjaviti da je omogućio zajam bivšem premijeru Borisu Johnsonu neposredno prije nego što ga je vlada imenovala na tu ulogu.

Sharp nije komentirao svađu otkako je eksplodirala prošli tjedan. BBC je rekao da će također razmotriti kako freelanceri poput Linekera, u područjima izvan vijesti, mogu koristiti društvene medije.

"Prezentiram sport na BBC-ju gotovo tri desetljeća i neizmjerno sam ponosan što radim s najboljim i najpoštenijim emiterom na svijetu", rekao je Lineker, prije nego što se vratio na temu imigracije.

"Posljednja misao: koliko god teški bili posljednjih nekoliko dana, to se jednostavno ne može usporediti s potrebom da napustite svoj dom od progona ili rata kako biste potražili utočište u dalekoj zemlji."

Javno financirani BBC suspendirao je Linekera zbog kršenja svojih pravila o nepristranosti uspoređujući retoriku britanske ministrice unutarnjih poslova Suelle Braverman s jezikom koji se koristio u Njemačkoj 1930-ih.

Prošle godine Braverman se suočila s reakcijom javnosti kada je dolazak tisuća tražitelja azila u južnu Englesku na malim brodicama nazvala "invazijom".

Glavni direktor BBC-ja, Tim Davie se ispričao zbog cijele situacije: “Svi shvaćaju da je ovo bilo teško razdoblje za osoblje, suradnike, voditelje i, što je najvažnije, našu publiku. Ispričavam se zbog ovoga. Potencijalna zbrka uzrokovana nejasnim BBC-jevim smjernicama za društvene medije koje su uvedene 2020. prepoznata je. BBC se ispričao i vratio Linekera na posao, najplaćeniji voditelj državne televizije opet će voditi poznatu emisiju

Britanski BBC vratio je u ponedjeljak svog najplaćenijeg voditelja Garyja Linekera nakon što je potez da se sportskog voditelja ukloni iz programa zbog njegove kritike vlade izazvao gotovo pobunu na javnom servisu, piše Reuters.

Korporacija je tijekom vikenda bila prisiljena ukinuti veliki dio svog sportskog pokrivanja nakon što su voditelji, stručnjaci i komentatori odbili raditi u znak solidarnosti s Linekerom, koji je kritizirao vladinu useljeničku politiku.

Odluka o suspenziji Linekera dovela je do optužbi osoblja, oporbenih političara i komentatora da je politički neutralni BBC popustio pod pritiskom vlade, što je natjeralo premijera Rishija Sunaka da intervenira i kaže kako se nada da će se situacija uskoro riješiti.
