Velimir Kljaić, bivši izbornik naše rukometne reprezentacije, osvajač olimpijskoga zlata u Atlanti 1996. godine danas u ulozi stručnog komentatora na Svjetskom prvenstvu, obišao je sve arene u Hrvatskoj. Poreč, Varaždin, Split, na koncu i Zadar, dovoljno za sliku o stanju svih reprezentacija.

I njega je iznenadio neočekivani zaplet u zadarskoj skupini, gdje se otvorilo više opcija za dva mjesta u polufinalu.

Poljska sigurna, Dancima prednost s Nijemcima

- Iskreno, tko nije vjerovao da će dalje Njemačka i Srbija, međutim sad će se prema mojoj procjeni dogoditi da nitko od tih dvoje favorita neće naprijed.

Znamo, Srbi su otpali, dok Nijemci bez Krausa koji se ozbiljno ozlijedio, te načetoga Pascala Hensa ne mogu računati da će preskočiti Dance. U svemu će najbolje proći Poljaci koji su od autsajdera, odnosno momčadi koja je u Varaždinu odigrala katastrofalno, prometnuli u dobitnike. Ne vjerujem da će ih zaustaviti Norvežani – veli Kljaić.

Još se u nečemu dotaknuo Danaca ...

- Igraju strahovito brz, moderan i tehnički rukomet, lijepo za oko. Uz sve na vratima imaju Kaspera Hvidta! Jednostavno, nemoguće ih je uhvatiti kad se rastrče, tako da Nijemci, onako snažni i visoki doista nemaju nikakvih izgleda. Prošlo je vrijeme rukometa u kojem su dominirali jaki, visoki i spori.

Danas u momčadi možete imati najviše dvojicu takvih, ako mislite govoriti o ozbiljnom rukometu – misli Kljaić.

Hrvati mogu otići do kraja

O Hrvatskoj?

- U početku smo se tražili, iako se može ustvrditi da su nam krilni igrači od početka bili unutra, zapinjalo je na vanjskim pozicijama. Ipak, digli su se u pravom trenutku protiv Španjolaca i sad nam je slika sasvim u redu. Nemamo ni jedan poraz, istina u istom su položaju Francuzi, međutim, vjerujem da ćemo mi do kraja ostati neporaženi.

Posebno nakon što je sve izvjesnije kako će Francuzi ostati bez Didiera Dinarta. Koga biste rado vidjeli u polufinalu s Hrvatskom?

- Ako se ostvare moje prognoze, vjerujem da hoće onda bih svakako izbjegao Dance i uzeo Poljake jer su visoka i snažna momčad. S takvima se znamo nositi, dok nam “brzanci“ nikako ne odgovarju, nezgodni su što je potvrdila i utakmica s Korejcima.

Tko je po vama najveće razočaranje Svjetskog prvenstva?

- Definitivno Španjolci i Rusi, koji su iz prve, odnosno druge jakosne skupine dospjeli među “egzote“. Nisu na vrijeme shvatili da rukomet kojeg se igralo prije dvadeset godina nije ono na čemu bi trebalo igrati svoju igru.

Velimir Kljaić, bivši izbornik naše rukometne reprezentacije, osvajač olimpijskoga zlata u Atlanti 1996. godine danas u ulozi stručnog komentatora na Svjetskom prvenstvu, obišao je sve arene u Hrvatskoj. Poreč, Varaždin, Split, na koncu i Zadar, dovoljno za sliku o stanju svih reprezentacija.

I njega je iznenadio neočekivani zaplet u zadarskoj skupini, gdje se otvorilo više opcija za dva mjesta u polufinalu.

Poljska sigurna, Dancima prednost s Nijemcima

- Iskreno, tko nije vjerovao da će dalje Njemačka i Srbija, međutim sad će se prema mojoj procjeni dogoditi da nitko od tih dvoje favorita neće naprijed.

Znamo, Srbi su otpali, dok Nijemci bez Krausa koji se ozbiljno ozlijedio, te načetoga Pascala Hensa ne mogu računati da će preskočiti Dance. U svemu će najbolje proći Poljaci koji su od autsajdera, odnosno momčadi koja je u Varaždinu odigrala katastrofalno, prometnuli u dobitnike. Ne vjerujem da će ih zaustaviti Norvežani – veli Kljaić.

Još se u nečemu dotaknuo Danaca ...

- Igraju strahovito brz, moderan i tehnički rukomet, lijepo za oko. Uz sve na vratima imaju Kaspera Hvidta! Jednostavno, nemoguće ih je uhvatiti kad se rastrče, tako da Nijemci, onako snažni i visoki doista nemaju nikakvih izgleda. Prošlo je vrijeme rukometa u kojem su dominirali jaki, visoki i spori.

Danas u momčadi možete imati najviše dvojicu takvih, ako mislite govoriti o ozbiljnom rukometu – misli Kljaić.

Hrvati mogu otići do kraja

O Hrvatskoj?

- U početku smo se tražili, iako se može ustvrditi da su nam krilni igrači od početka bili unutra, zapinjalo je na vanjskim pozicijama. Ipak, digli su se u pravom trenutku protiv Španjolaca i sad nam je slika sasvim u redu. Nemamo ni jedan poraz, istina u istom su položaju Francuzi, međutim, vjerujem da ćemo mi do kraja ostati neporaženi.

Posebno nakon što je sve izvjesnije kako će Francuzi ostati bez Didiera Dinarta. Koga biste rado vidjeli u polufinalu s Hrvatskom?

- Ako se ostvare moje prognoze, vjerujem da hoće onda bih svakako izbjegao Dance i uzeo Poljake jer su visoka i snažna momčad. S takvima se znamo nositi, dok nam “brzanci“ nikako ne odgovarju, nezgodni su što je potvrdila i utakmica s Korejcima.

Tko je po vama najveće razočaranje Svjetskog prvenstva?

- Definitivno Španjolci i Rusi, koji su iz prve, odnosno druge jakosne skupine dospjeli među “egzote“. Nisu na vrijeme shvatili da rukomet kojeg se igralo prije dvadeset godina nije ono na čemu bi trebalo igrati svoju igru.
