Koronavirusu u inat dva velika rukometna projekta Marija Čaljkušića u Omišu idu dalje.
Grad na ušću Cetine ovog će ljeta dočekati oko 2500 sudionika i gostiju kroz “Cedevita međunarodni kamp rukometnih vratara” i Svjetski kup veterana.
Kamp vratara, najveći i najbolji takav kamp u svijetu, od 26. lipnja do 2. srpnja slavi jedanaesto izdanje. Alfa i omega projekta Čaljkušić s ponosom nam je otkrio kako su sva mjesta na kampu popunjena još početkom godine i najavio rekordan broj sudionika.
- Očekujemo ih između 450 i 480 iz 40 država, računajući vratare i njihove pratnje, demonstratore i naš tim trenera. To je oko 3000 noćenja. Zastupljeni su praktički svi kontinenti osim Australije. Preko tog broja ne možemo ni fizički, to je nekakav limit - smatra Čaljkušić.
Doba je korone, a pada rekord - kako to?
- Očito su se ljudi zaželjeli putovanja. Stvari idu nabolje, puštaju se letovi za razliku od prošle godine kad smo radili na 30 posto kapaciteta. Do pandemije nam je svaka godina bila rekordna.
I ove će godine lista demonstratora biti impresivna nakon što su prethodnih godina kamp posjećivali i svoje znanje mladima prenosili Omeyer, Hvidt, Mikler, Grimsbo, Ristovski, Cupara, Burić, Bašić...
- Stižu nam naši standardni gosti Marin Šego i Mirko Alilović koji su od prvog dana s nama i ambasadori su kampa u svijetu, zatim Jelena Grubišić, Ivana Kapitanović, Sandro Uvodić, prvi put nam dolazi Brazilka Mayssa Pessoa, svjetska prvakinja iz 2013., pa Nikola Portner iz Chamberyja... Imamo 16 trenera i demonstratora.
Nove vratarske zvijezde nije teško privući na Ribnjak, zadovoljan je Čaljkušić, za čiji se kamp zna diljem svijeta.
- Cijeli sam život u rukometu i ovi su projekti samo osnažili te kontakte koje imam, tako da svi ljudi s kojima prvi put ulazim u razgovore već znaju za mene i moje projekte. Koga poželimo, toga i dovedemo. Trebao je doći i Vincent Gerard, ali je spriječen zbog priprema za Olimpijske igre. On bi trebao doći dogodine.
Sudionici kampa će u Hrvatsku moći ući s važećim negativnim testom na Covid-19 te dokazom o preboljenju virusa ili cijepljenju, kaže Čaljkušić koji će svojim gostima slobodno vrijeme popuniti organizacijom raftinga na Cetini te izleta brodom na obližnje otoke, kako bi uz rukometni dio mogli upoznati i mnogobrojne ljepote našega kraja.
Što se četvrtog po redu Svjetskog kupa veterana tiče, on je lani izvisio. Otkazan je zbog korone, a ove je godine prebačen s redovnog termina u svibnju na rujan (9. - 12. rujna).
- Imamo oko 2000 sudionika iz 40-ak zemalja. Iz Kostarike, Saudijske Arabije, Pakistana, Brazila, s Havaja... Gradimo svjetsko prvenstvo. Gotovo 90 posto sudionika je procijepljeno i to nam organizacijski olakšava posao. Ljudi su baš bili tužni lani kad smo morali otkazati. Vesele se povratku, a i mi se veselimo radu.
A da nije nesretne korone, broj bi bio još veći.
- Sigurno bismo bili na 4000 ljudi! - uvjerava Čaljkušić i otkriva novost za 2022. godinu.
- Očekujem da sljedeće godine budemo na oko 3000 sudionika i tad ćemo morati organizirati natjecanje u dva grada, Splitu i Omišu. Već se sad javljaju timovi iz cijelog svijeta, a još nemamo ni datum. Znam samo da se vraćamo u svibanjski termin.
Godina nije bila lagana, sponzori su otkazivali suradnju, no Čaljkušić i njegovi projekti preživjeli su i iz ove će krize izaći još jači.
- Sponzori koji su devet godina bili u projektu morali su se povući, sada se neki vraćaju, a nas je spasilo što je Atlantic Grupa s brendom Cedevita preuzela generalno pokroviteljstvo kampa vratara. Ni jedan naš projekt nije zamišljen kao lokalan, nego svjetski. Nismo htjeli biti samo brojka nego biti prvi. To i jesmo.

Koronavirusu u inat dva velika rukometna projekta Marija Čaljkušića u Omišu idu dalje.
Grad na ušću Cetine ovog će ljeta dočekati oko 2500 sudionika i gostiju kroz “Cedevita međunarodni kamp rukometnih vratara” i Svjetski kup veterana.
Kamp vratara, najveći i najbolji takav kamp u svijetu, od 26. lipnja do 2. srpnja slavi jedanaesto izdanje. Alfa i omega projekta Čaljkušić s ponosom nam je otkrio kako su sva mjesta na kampu popunjena još početkom godine i najavio rekordan broj sudionika.
- Očekujemo ih između 450 i 480 iz 40 država, računajući vratare i njihove pratnje, demonstratore i naš tim trenera. To je oko 3000 noćenja. Zastupljeni su praktički svi kontinenti osim Australije. Preko tog broja ne možemo ni fizički, to je nekakav limit - smatra Čaljkušić.
Doba je korone, a pada rekord - kako to?
- Očito su se ljudi zaželjeli putovanja. Stvari idu nabolje, puštaju se letovi za razliku od prošle godine kad smo radili na 30 posto kapaciteta. Do pandemije nam je svaka godina bila rekordna.
I ove će godine lista demonstratora biti impresivna nakon što su prethodnih godina kamp posjećivali i svoje znanje mladima prenosili Omeyer, Hvidt, Mikler, Grimsbo, Ristovski, Cupara, Burić, Bašić...
- Stižu nam naši standardni gosti Marin Šego i Mirko Alilović koji su od prvog dana s nama i ambasadori su kampa u svijetu, zatim Jelena Grubišić, Ivana Kapitanović, Sandro Uvodić, prvi put nam dolazi Brazilka Mayssa Pessoa, svjetska prvakinja iz 2013., pa Nikola Portner iz Chamberyja... Imamo 16 trenera i demonstratora.
Nove vratarske zvijezde nije teško privući na Ribnjak, zadovoljan je Čaljkušić, za čiji se kamp zna diljem svijeta.
- Cijeli sam život u rukometu i ovi su projekti samo osnažili te kontakte koje imam, tako da svi ljudi s kojima prvi put ulazim u razgovore već znaju za mene i moje projekte. Koga poželimo, toga i dovedemo. Trebao je doći i Vincent Gerard, ali je spriječen zbog priprema za Olimpijske igre. On bi trebao doći dogodine.
Sudionici kampa će u Hrvatsku moći ući s važećim negativnim testom na Covid-19 te dokazom o preboljenju virusa ili cijepljenju, kaže Čaljkušić koji će svojim gostima slobodno vrijeme popuniti organizacijom raftinga na Cetini te izleta brodom na obližnje otoke, kako bi uz rukometni dio mogli upoznati i mnogobrojne ljepote našega kraja.
Što se četvrtog po redu Svjetskog kupa veterana tiče, on je lani izvisio. Otkazan je zbog korone, a ove je godine prebačen s redovnog termina u svibnju na rujan (9. - 12. rujna).
- Imamo oko 2000 sudionika iz 40-ak zemalja. Iz Kostarike, Saudijske Arabije, Pakistana, Brazila, s Havaja... Gradimo svjetsko prvenstvo. Gotovo 90 posto sudionika je procijepljeno i to nam organizacijski olakšava posao. Ljudi su baš bili tužni lani kad smo morali otkazati. Vesele se povratku, a i mi se veselimo radu.
A da nije nesretne korone, broj bi bio još veći.
- Sigurno bismo bili na 4000 ljudi! - uvjerava Čaljkušić i otkriva novost za 2022. godinu.
- Očekujem da sljedeće godine budemo na oko 3000 sudionika i tad ćemo morati organizirati natjecanje u dva grada, Splitu i Omišu. Već se sad javljaju timovi iz cijelog svijeta, a još nemamo ni datum. Znam samo da se vraćamo u svibanjski termin.
Godina nije bila lagana, sponzori su otkazivali suradnju, no Čaljkušić i njegovi projekti preživjeli su i iz ove će krize izaći još jači.
- Sponzori koji su devet godina bili u projektu morali su se povući, sada se neki vraćaju, a nas je spasilo što je Atlantic Grupa s brendom Cedevita preuzela generalno pokroviteljstvo kampa vratara. Ni jedan naš projekt nije zamišljen kao lokalan, nego svjetski. Nismo htjeli biti samo brojka nego biti prvi. To i jesmo.
