 Izbornik hrvatske muške rukometne reprezentacije Dagur Sigurdsson bio je dobro raspoložen dan nakon 35-29 pobjede protiv Austrije u svojoj prvoj utakmici u toj ulozi no također je upozorio kako još uvijek nije dovršen posao na kvalifikacijskom turniru za odlazak na Olimpijske igre koji se održava u Hannoveru.

Hrvatsku u subotu od 14.30 sati očekuje dvoboj protiv domaćina Njemačke koja je u 1. kolu također upisala pobjedu, 41-29 protiv Alžira. Plasman na OI će s turnira u Hannoveru izboriti dvije prvoplasirane reprezentacije, a Hrvatsku osim Njemačke očekuje još i susret protiv Alžira u nedjelju.

"Čekaju nas još dva finala Kupa i zato moramo zadržati koncentraciju, dobro se pripremiti. Njemačka je jaka momčad, osobito su im dobri vratari i zato moramo biti jako koncentrirani i ne gubiti previše lopti. Bit će važno i vraćanje u obranu kako im ne bismo dopustili previše protunapada. Što se napada tiče, kod Nijemaca su odlični središnji vanjski Knorr i pivot Golla, oni čine odličnu kombinaciju koja jako dobro igra zajedno i zato moramo biri snažni u sredini obrane", rekao je Sigurdsson za službenu internetsku stranicu Hrvatskog rukometnog saveza (hrs.hr).

Islanđanin Sigurdsson oduševio je i time što pokušava naučiti riječi hrvatske himne kako bi se što bolje "uživio" u utakmicu.

"Želim biti dio momčadi, dio kulture i mislim kako je dobro da, kada se intonira himna, pjevati zajedno s ostalima i tako ući s pravim raspoloženjem u utakmicu. To sam radio dok sam bio igrač, a tradiciju nastavljam i kao trener. Pokušavam naučiti riječi himne, imam još dvije utakmice da se popravim", dodao je Sigurdsson.

Protiv Austrije je priliku na poziciji kružnog napadača priliku dobio Marin Šipić te ju iskoristio za četiri pogotka.

"Kao igrač uvijek čekaš svoju priliku, na zadnjem prvenstvu ju nisam baš dobio. Protiv Austrije jesam i drago mi je da sam ju iskoristio", kazao je Šipić te se osvrnuo i na rad s novim izbornikom:

"Igrači su jako zadovoljni, atmosfera je super. On je smireniji od nas i zato nas može smiriti kada počnemo ludovati".

U subotu će prevlast na tribinama imati Njemačka.

"Lijepo je igrati pred svojim navijačima, ali je lijepo i pobijediti nekoga pred 10.000 njegovih navijača. Nadam se kako će neki od naših golmana ponoviti Kuzmanovića s Europskog prvenstva pa će sve biti lakše", zaključio je Šipić.

 Izbornik hrvatske muške rukometne reprezentacije Dagur Sigurdsson bio je dobro raspoložen dan nakon 35-29 pobjede protiv Austrije u svojoj prvoj utakmici u toj ulozi no također je upozorio kako još uvijek nije dovršen posao na kvalifikacijskom turniru za odlazak na Olimpijske igre koji se održava u Hannoveru.

Hrvatsku u subotu od 14.30 sati očekuje dvoboj protiv domaćina Njemačke koja je u 1. kolu također upisala pobjedu, 41-29 protiv Alžira. Plasman na OI će s turnira u Hannoveru izboriti dvije prvoplasirane reprezentacije, a Hrvatsku osim Njemačke očekuje još i susret protiv Alžira u nedjelju.

"Čekaju nas još dva finala Kupa i zato moramo zadržati koncentraciju, dobro se pripremiti. Njemačka je jaka momčad, osobito su im dobri vratari i zato moramo biti jako koncentrirani i ne gubiti previše lopti. Bit će važno i vraćanje u obranu kako im ne bismo dopustili previše protunapada. Što se napada tiče, kod Nijemaca su odlični središnji vanjski Knorr i pivot Golla, oni čine odličnu kombinaciju koja jako dobro igra zajedno i zato moramo biri snažni u sredini obrane", rekao je Sigurdsson za službenu internetsku stranicu Hrvatskog rukometnog saveza (hrs.hr).

Islanđanin Sigurdsson oduševio je i time što pokušava naučiti riječi hrvatske himne kako bi se što bolje "uživio" u utakmicu.

"Želim biti dio momčadi, dio kulture i mislim kako je dobro da, kada se intonira himna, pjevati zajedno s ostalima i tako ući s pravim raspoloženjem u utakmicu. To sam radio dok sam bio igrač, a tradiciju nastavljam i kao trener. Pokušavam naučiti riječi himne, imam još dvije utakmice da se popravim", dodao je Sigurdsson.

Protiv Austrije je priliku na poziciji kružnog napadača priliku dobio Marin Šipić te ju iskoristio za četiri pogotka.

"Kao igrač uvijek čekaš svoju priliku, na zadnjem prvenstvu ju nisam baš dobio. Protiv Austrije jesam i drago mi je da sam ju iskoristio", kazao je Šipić te se osvrnuo i na rad s novim izbornikom:

"Igrači su jako zadovoljni, atmosfera je super. On je smireniji od nas i zato nas može smiriti kada počnemo ludovati".

U subotu će prevlast na tribinama imati Njemačka.

"Lijepo je igrati pred svojim navijačima, ali je lijepo i pobijediti nekoga pred 10.000 njegovih navijača. Nadam se kako će neki od naših golmana ponoviti Kuzmanovića s Europskog prvenstva pa će sve biti lakše", zaključio je Šipić.

Dagur Sigurdsson: Pokušavam naučiti riječi himne, imam još dvije utakmice da se popravim

 Izbornik hrvatske muške rukometne reprezentacije Dagur Sigurdsson bio je dobro raspoložen dan nakon 35-29 pobjede protiv Austrije u svojoj prvoj utakmici u toj ulozi no također je upozorio kako još uvijek nije dovršen posao na kvalifikacijskom turniru za odlazak na Olimpijske igre koji se održava u Hannoveru.

Hrvatsku u subotu od 14.30 sati očekuje dvoboj protiv domaćina Njemačke koja je u 1. kolu također upisala pobjedu, 41-29 protiv Alžira. Plasman na OI će s turnira u Hannoveru izboriti dvije prvoplasirane reprezentacije, a Hrvatsku osim Njemačke očekuje još i susret protiv Alžira u nedjelju.

"Čekaju nas još dva finala Kupa i zato moramo zadržati koncentraciju, dobro se pripremiti. Njemačka je jaka momčad, osobito su im dobri vratari i zato moramo biti jako koncentrirani i ne gubiti previše lopti. Bit će važno i vraćanje u obranu kako im ne bismo dopustili previše protunapada. Što se napada tiče, kod Nijemaca su odlični središnji vanjski Knorr i pivot Golla, oni čine odličnu kombinaciju koja jako dobro igra zajedno i zato moramo biri snažni u sredini obrane", rekao je Sigurdsson za službenu internetsku stranicu Hrvatskog rukometnog saveza (hrs.hr).

Islanđanin Sigurdsson oduševio je i time što pokušava naučiti riječi hrvatske himne kako bi se što bolje "uživio" u utakmicu.

"Želim biti dio momčadi, dio kulture i mislim kako je dobro da, kada se intonira himna, pjevati zajedno s ostalima i tako ući s pravim raspoloženjem u utakmicu. To sam radio dok sam bio igrač, a tradiciju nastavljam i kao trener. Pokušavam naučiti riječi himne, imam još dvije utakmice da se popravim", dodao je Sigurdsson.
