Svjetska antidopinška agencija (WADA) žalila se u utorak Sportskom arbitražnom sudu (CAS) na slučaj umjetničke klizačice Kamile Valijeve nakon što je ruska istraga otkrila da tinejdžerica nije kriva za bilo kakav prekršaj dopinga.
WADA traži četverogodišnju zabranu i diskvalifikaciju svih Valievinih rezultata od datuma uzimanja uzorka.
"WADA smatra da je zaključak disciplinskog suda Ruske antidopinške agencije (RUSADA) da je sportaš "bez krivnje ili nemara" pogrešan prema uvjetima Svjetskog antidopinškog kodeksa u ovom slučaju i iskoristila je svoje pravo uložiti žalbu Sportskom arbitražnom sudu", kratko je priopćeno iz WADA-e.
Valieva je bila pozitivna na zabranjenu supstancu trimetazidin na ruskom državnom prvenstvu u prosincu 2021., ali rezultat je objavljen tek 8. veljače 2022., dan nakon što je pomogla svom timu da osvoji zlatnu medalju na Olimpijskim igrama u Pekingu.
U svoju obranu, Valijeva je rekla da je pozitivan test rezultat miješanja s djedovim lijekovima za srce.
Istraga RUSADA-e objavljena u siječnju potvrdila je da je Valieva pala na doping testu, ali je zaključila da tinejdžerica nije kriva za bilo kakav prekršaj dopinga.
Unatoč pozitivnom testu, CAS je odobrio Valievoj da se nastavi natjecati na Igrama u Pekingu, podržavajući raniju odluku RUSADA-e da ukine zabranu klizačici.
CAS je naveo činjenicu da je Valieva "zaštićena osoba" prema pravilima WADA-e kao jednu od "iznimnih okolnosti" na kojima se temelji njegova odluka.
Valijeva, koja je postala prva žena koja je uspjela izvesti četverostruki skok na Olimpijskim igrama tijekom ekipnog natjecanja, bila je favorit za osvajanje zlata u pojedinačnoj konkurenciji, ali je propustila pojedinačnu medalju nakon što je pala na četvrto mjesto s pogreškama u slobodnom programu.

Svjetska antidopinška agencija (WADA) žalila se u utorak Sportskom arbitražnom sudu (CAS) na slučaj umjetničke klizačice Kamile Valijeve nakon što je ruska istraga otkrila da tinejdžerica nije kriva za bilo kakav prekršaj dopinga.
WADA traži četverogodišnju zabranu i diskvalifikaciju svih Valievinih rezultata od datuma uzimanja uzorka.
"WADA smatra da je zaključak disciplinskog suda Ruske antidopinške agencije (RUSADA) da je sportaš "bez krivnje ili nemara" pogrešan prema uvjetima Svjetskog antidopinškog kodeksa u ovom slučaju i iskoristila je svoje pravo uložiti žalbu Sportskom arbitražnom sudu", kratko je priopćeno iz WADA-e.
Valieva je bila pozitivna na zabranjenu supstancu trimetazidin na ruskom državnom prvenstvu u prosincu 2021., ali rezultat je objavljen tek 8. veljače 2022., dan nakon što je pomogla svom timu da osvoji zlatnu medalju na Olimpijskim igrama u Pekingu.
U svoju obranu, Valijeva je rekla da je pozitivan test rezultat miješanja s djedovim lijekovima za srce.
Istraga RUSADA-e objavljena u siječnju potvrdila je da je Valieva pala na doping testu, ali je zaključila da tinejdžerica nije kriva za bilo kakav prekršaj dopinga.
Unatoč pozitivnom testu, CAS je odobrio Valievoj da se nastavi natjecati na Igrama u Pekingu, podržavajući raniju odluku RUSADA-e da ukine zabranu klizačici.
CAS je naveo činjenicu da je Valieva "zaštićena osoba" prema pravilima WADA-e kao jednu od "iznimnih okolnosti" na kojima se temelji njegova odluka.
Valijeva, koja je postala prva žena koja je uspjela izvesti četverostruki skok na Olimpijskim igrama tijekom ekipnog natjecanja, bila je favorit za osvajanje zlata u pojedinačnoj konkurenciji, ali je propustila pojedinačnu medalju nakon što je pala na četvrto mjesto s pogreškama u slobodnom programu.
