Unatoč svim naporima organizatora i djelatnika Skijališta Sljeme uloženih upripremu Crvenog spusta za održavanje muške slalomske utrke Svjetskog skijaškog kupa nakon nastupa 19 skijaša u današnjem slalomu FIS je odlučio da se on otkazuje radi nepovoljnih uvjeta za natjecanje.

„Iako je staza izgledala jako dobro na jutrošnjem ogledu, nakon pregleda staze vodili smo diskusiju s FIS-om treba li samo korigirati nekoliko vrata ili cijelu podlogu ponovno dorađivati korištenjem vode i soli. FIS je odabrao drugu opciju, za koju je upitno je li bila najbolja. Mi iz organizacijskog odbora smo mišljenja da nismo trebali raditi ništa, da smo trebali zadržati sve kako je bilo nakon ogleda i da bismo imali dobru utrku. Što je, tu je, pokušali smo sve, plana C sada više nema. Nažalost, teško je ali trebamo gledati naprijed“,rekao je Vedran Pavlek, direktor Organizacijskog odbora utrka na Sljemenu. 

"Žao nam je, no ponosan sam na ljude koji su uspjeli ostati i odraditi i ovaj dan iako su ovdje proveli i Božić, i novu godinu, sada već imali organizirane godišnje odmore... Ostalo je nekih 80 ili 90 posto ljudi, volontera iz svih dijelova Hrvatske, iz skijaških klubova iz Bistre, Jaske, Tršća,Rijeke, sa svih strana, napravili su sve što je bilo moguće. Žao mi je bilo vidjeti poglede tih ljudi kojima je izuzetno teško. No, nije ovo ni prvi ni zadnji otkaz na dan utrke, to je realnost Svjetskog kupa i treba gledatiunaprijed. Nažalost u svemu tome lokalni organizacijski odbori premalo odlučuju, odlučuje žiri FIS-a, a odgovornost je na nama. To je problem skijanja i treba pokušati u budućnosti to promijeniti. Mi smo imali dva otkaza kada nije bilo snijega, 2014. i 2016. godine i Grad Zagreb i Skijalište Sljeme su uložili zajedno sa Ski savezom puno u infrastrukturu. Poboljšanja stvarno vidimo te snijega ima. Ja vjerujem da će sesljedećih dana zasniježiti i što prije skijalište otvoriti za građanstvo, što je uvijek krajnji cilj", kazao je Pavlek.

Utrka se prvotno trebala održati u srijedu, ali zbog stanja snježne podloge u donjem dijelu staze bila je na pragu otkaza. No, organizatori, na čelu sa direktorom utrke Vedranom Pavlekom, uspjeli su odgoditi utrku za četvrtak. No, ni u četvrtak nije bilo sreće.

"Zadnjih godina nije bilo otkaza zbog nedostatka snijega, a ja vjerujem i dalje da je i današnju utrku bilo moguće održati. Da nije bilo toliko prekida utrke, da je pušteno da se spuštaju 15 po 15 natjecatelja bez prekida, pa tih nekoliko vrata popravlja u službenim pauzama, mislim da bi bilo drugačije. Staza nije bila idealna, no da se moglo voziti, mislim da je, to je ipak slalom. Neki treneri se s tim slažu, neki ne, ali skijati se moglo. Zbog prekida utrke koji je odredio žiri rasla je nervoza među timovima i natjecateljima i na kraju je donesena odluka o otkazu. Ta je odluka teška za nas i sve ljude koji su radili na stazi, ali idemo dalje. Najljepša sljemenska priča ove godine je rezultat karijere Leone Popović i mi sada gledamo naprijed, prema drugim natjecanjima koja su pred nama. Zrinka Ljutić je otišla za Kranjsku Goru, Leona Popović i dečki će trenirati na Sljemenu, nakon toga imamo charter za Adelboden i idemo za Adelboden. FIS ima i druge brige, veliki problem je covid,brojke rastu u cijeloj Europi i vidjet ćemo kako će se to nastaviti. Jučer smo imali nekoliko sati raspravu oko COVID protokola, imamo pozitivnih slučajeva u Zagrebu i cijeli crveni natjecateljski balon se jutros morao ponovo testirati, to je trebalo organizirati i to daljnje širenje zaraze koronavirusom svakako će diktirati što će se dešavati s ostatkom Svjetskog kupa“, rekao je zaključno Vedran Pavlek

Unatoč svim naporima organizatora i djelatnika Skijališta Sljeme uloženih upripremu Crvenog spusta za održavanje muške slalomske utrke Svjetskog skijaškog kupa nakon nastupa 19 skijaša u današnjem slalomu FIS je odlučio da se on otkazuje radi nepovoljnih uvjeta za natjecanje.

„Iako je staza izgledala jako dobro na jutrošnjem ogledu, nakon pregleda staze vodili smo diskusiju s FIS-om treba li samo korigirati nekoliko vrata ili cijelu podlogu ponovno dorađivati korištenjem vode i soli. FIS je odabrao drugu opciju, za koju je upitno je li bila najbolja. Mi iz organizacijskog odbora smo mišljenja da nismo trebali raditi ništa, da smo trebali zadržati sve kako je bilo nakon ogleda i da bismo imali dobru utrku. Što je, tu je, pokušali smo sve, plana C sada više nema. Nažalost, teško je ali trebamo gledati naprijed“,rekao je Vedran Pavlek, direktor Organizacijskog odbora utrka na Sljemenu. 

"Žao nam je, no ponosan sam na ljude koji su uspjeli ostati i odraditi i ovaj dan iako su ovdje proveli i Božić, i novu godinu, sada već imali organizirane godišnje odmore... Ostalo je nekih 80 ili 90 posto ljudi, volontera iz svih dijelova Hrvatske, iz skijaških klubova iz Bistre, Jaske, Tršća,Rijeke, sa svih strana, napravili su sve što je bilo moguće. Žao mi je bilo vidjeti poglede tih ljudi kojima je izuzetno teško. No, nije ovo ni prvi ni zadnji otkaz na dan utrke, to je realnost Svjetskog kupa i treba gledatiunaprijed. Nažalost u svemu tome lokalni organizacijski odbori premalo odlučuju, odlučuje žiri FIS-a, a odgovornost je na nama. To je problem skijanja i treba pokušati u budućnosti to promijeniti. Mi smo imali dva otkaza kada nije bilo snijega, 2014. i 2016. godine i Grad Zagreb i Skijalište Sljeme su uložili zajedno sa Ski savezom puno u infrastrukturu. Poboljšanja stvarno vidimo te snijega ima. Ja vjerujem da će sesljedećih dana zasniježiti i što prije skijalište otvoriti za građanstvo, što je uvijek krajnji cilj", kazao je Pavlek.

Utrka se prvotno trebala održati u srijedu, ali zbog stanja snježne podloge u donjem dijelu staze bila je na pragu otkaza. No, organizatori, na čelu sa direktorom utrke Vedranom Pavlekom, uspjeli su odgoditi utrku za četvrtak. No, ni u četvrtak nije bilo sreće.

"Zadnjih godina nije bilo otkaza zbog nedostatka snijega, a ja vjerujem i dalje da je i današnju utrku bilo moguće održati. Da nije bilo toliko prekida utrke, da je pušteno da se spuštaju 15 po 15 natjecatelja bez prekida, pa tih nekoliko vrata popravlja u službenim pauzama, mislim da bi bilo drugačije. Staza nije bila idealna, no da se moglo voziti, mislim da je, to je ipak slalom. Neki treneri se s tim slažu, neki ne, ali skijati se moglo. Zbog prekida utrke koji je odredio žiri rasla je nervoza među timovima i natjecateljima i na kraju je donesena odluka o otkazu. Ta je odluka teška za nas i sve ljude koji su radili na stazi, ali idemo dalje. Najljepša sljemenska priča ove godine je rezultat karijere Leone Popović i mi sada gledamo naprijed, prema drugim natjecanjima koja su pred nama. Zrinka Ljutić je otišla za Kranjsku Goru, Leona Popović i dečki će trenirati na Sljemenu, nakon toga imamo charter za Adelboden i idemo za Adelboden. FIS ima i druge brige, veliki problem je covid,brojke rastu u cijeloj Europi i vidjet ćemo kako će se to nastaviti. Jučer smo imali nekoliko sati raspravu oko COVID protokola, imamo pozitivnih slučajeva u Zagrebu i cijeli crveni natjecateljski balon se jutros morao ponovo testirati, to je trebalo organizirati i to daljnje širenje zaraze koronavirusom svakako će diktirati što će se dešavati s ostatkom Svjetskog kupa“, rekao je zaključno Vedran Pavlek

Unatoč svim naporima organizatora i djelatnika Skijališta Sljeme uloženih upripremu Crvenog spusta za održavanje muške slalomske utrke Svjetskog skijaškog kupa nakon nastupa 19 skijaša u današnjem slalomu FIS je odlučio da se on otkazuje radi nepovoljnih uvjeta za natjecanje.

„Iako je staza izgledala jako dobro na jutrošnjem ogledu, nakon pregleda staze vodili smo diskusiju s FIS-om treba li samo korigirati nekoliko vrata ili cijelu podlogu ponovno dorađivati korištenjem vode i soli. FIS je odabrao drugu opciju, za koju je upitno je li bila najbolja. Mi iz organizacijskog odbora smo mišljenja da nismo trebali raditi ništa, da smo trebali zadržati sve kako je bilo nakon ogleda i da bismo imali dobru utrku.
