Svjetska atletika planira pooštriti i konsolidirati svoje kriterije prihvatljivosti za kategoriju žena za interspolne i transrodne sportašice, kojima ipak ne zatvara u potpunosti vrata, a konačna odluka će biti donesena u ožujku, objavila je ta institucija priopćenjem za javnost.

Svjetska atletika započela je proces konzultacija sa svojim savezima članicama o ovoj temi, s "prioritetnom opcijom", u kojima se traži izmjena uvjeta prihvatljivosti za DSD (razlika u spolnom razvoju) i transrodne sportaše s kontinuiranim smanjenjem razine testosterona ispod 2,5 nmol/L tijekom najmanje 24 mjeseca, piše AFP.

Trenutačna pravila zahtijevaju od transrodnih sportaša koji žele sudjelovati u ženskoj kategoriji da održavaju razinu testosterona ispod praga od 5 nmol/L tijekom 12 mjeseci. Interseksualni sportaši, na primjer Južnoafrikanka Caster Semenya, moraju od travnja 2018. održavati razinu testosterona ispod praga od 5 nmol/L tijekom 6 mjeseci kako bi sudjelovali u disciplinama u rasponu od 400 metara do jedne milje (1.609 m).

Ovu je uredbu odbacila sama Semenya, dvostruka olimpijska prvakinja na 800 m, koja je odbila podvrgnuti se hormonskom liječenju ili operaciji, ali je izgubila žalbe podnesene posebno pred Sportskim arbitražnim sudom (CAS).

Međunarodni olimpijski odbor (MOO) zatražio je od sportskih saveza u studenom 2021. da uspostave vlastite kriterije kako bi transrodnim i interseksualnim osobama omogućili natjecanje na visokoj razini.

Od tada je Međunarodna biciklistička unija (UCI) usvojila propise ekvivalentne onima trenutne "prioritetne opcije" u atletici. Međunarodna plivačka federacija (FINA) ograničila je pristup svojim ženskim kategorijama u lipnju 2022. na plivačice “koje su postale žene prije puberteta”.

Predsjednik Svjetske atletike Sebastian Coe pozdravio je Fininu odluku u to vrijeme, rekavši da će, ako bude prisiljen birati između "pravednosti" i "uključivanja", uvijek biti na strani poštenja, kako bi zaštitio integritet ženskog sporta.

Svjetska atletika planira pooštriti i konsolidirati svoje kriterije prihvatljivosti za kategoriju žena za interspolne i transrodne sportašice, kojima ipak ne zatvara u potpunosti vrata, a konačna odluka će biti donesena u ožujku, objavila je ta institucija priopćenjem za javnost.

Svjetska atletika započela je proces konzultacija sa svojim savezima članicama o ovoj temi, s "prioritetnom opcijom", u kojima se traži izmjena uvjeta prihvatljivosti za DSD (razlika u spolnom razvoju) i transrodne sportaše s kontinuiranim smanjenjem razine testosterona ispod 2,5 nmol/L tijekom najmanje 24 mjeseca, piše AFP.

Trenutačna pravila zahtijevaju od transrodnih sportaša koji žele sudjelovati u ženskoj kategoriji da održavaju razinu testosterona ispod praga od 5 nmol/L tijekom 12 mjeseci. Interseksualni sportaši, na primjer Južnoafrikanka Caster Semenya, moraju od travnja 2018. održavati razinu testosterona ispod praga od 5 nmol/L tijekom 6 mjeseci kako bi sudjelovali u disciplinama u rasponu od 400 metara do jedne milje (1.609 m).

Ovu je uredbu odbacila sama Semenya, dvostruka olimpijska prvakinja na 800 m, koja je odbila podvrgnuti se hormonskom liječenju ili operaciji, ali je izgubila žalbe podnesene posebno pred Sportskim arbitražnim sudom (CAS).

Međunarodni olimpijski odbor (MOO) zatražio je od sportskih saveza u studenom 2021. da uspostave vlastite kriterije kako bi transrodnim i interseksualnim osobama omogućili natjecanje na visokoj razini.

Od tada je Međunarodna biciklistička unija (UCI) usvojila propise ekvivalentne onima trenutne "prioritetne opcije" u atletici. Međunarodna plivačka federacija (FINA) ograničila je pristup svojim ženskim kategorijama u lipnju 2022. na plivačice “koje su postale žene prije puberteta”.

Predsjednik Svjetske atletike Sebastian Coe pozdravio je Fininu odluku u to vrijeme, rekavši da će, ako bude prisiljen birati između "pravednosti" i "uključivanja", uvijek biti na strani poštenja, kako bi zaštitio integritet ženskog sporta.

Svjetska atletika planira pooštriti i konsolidirati svoje kriterije prihvatljivosti za kategoriju žena za interspolne i transrodne sportašice, kojima ipak ne zatvara u potpunosti vrata, a konačna odluka će biti donesena u ožujku, objavila je ta institucija priopćenjem za javnost.

Svjetska atletika započela je proces konzultacija sa svojim savezima članicama o ovoj temi, s "prioritetnom opcijom", u kojima se traži izmjena uvjeta prihvatljivosti za DSD (razlika u spolnom razvoju) i transrodne sportaše s kontinuiranim smanjenjem razine testosterona ispod 2,5 nmol/L tijekom najmanje 24 mjeseca, piše AFP.

Trenutačna pravila zahtijevaju od transrodnih sportaša koji žele sudjelovati u ženskoj kategoriji da održavaju razinu testosterona ispod praga od 5 nmol/L tijekom 12 mjeseci. Inte...
