Olimpijska pobjednica iz Vancouvera 2010. godine, te sedmerostruka svjetska prvakinja u skijaškom trčanju Norvežanka Therese Johaug (28), koja je bila pozitivna na dopinškoj kontroli obavljenoj izvan natjecanja prošloga mjeseca suspendirana je privremeno na dva mjeseca u iščekivanju rezultata dublje istrage o njenom slučaju, objavila je u srijedu Norveška antidopinška agencija.

Ova privremena suspenzija traje do 18. prosinca, a znači da norveška sportašica neće moći sudjelovati u prvoj etapi Svjetskog kupa u Ruki u Finskoj 26. i 27. studenoga.

"Razlog za ovu odluku je da je odbor zadužen za eventualna kažnjavanja unutar agencije mišljenja da se ne čini da je sportašica u potpunosti nevina", izjavio je predsjedavajući Anstein Gjengedal.

"Važno je istaknuti da u ovoj fazi nismo zauzeli konačno stajalište o suspenziji", dodao je.

Zbog ove suspenzije Johaug neće moći ni trenirati pod vodstvom Norveškog skijaškog saveza. 

Johaug je 16. rujna bila pozitivna na anabolički steroid klostebol. Navedeno je kako je zabranjenu supstancu u organizam unijela putem kreme za usnice Trofodermin koju je koristila kako bi liječila opekotine koje je zadobila tijekom visinskih priprema u Italiji u kolovozu.

Korištenje anaboličkih steroida kažnjava se suspenzijom u trajanju od četiri godine. 

Na ZOI u Vancouveru 2010. godine Johaug je bila članica zlatne norveške štafete na 4x5 kilometara. Usto ima i pojedinačno srebro s utrke na 30km slobodnim stilom s istih ZOI, te broncu iz utrke na 10km klasičnim stilom iz Sočija 2014.

Olimpijska pobjednica iz Vancouvera 2010. godine, te sedmerostruka svjetska prvakinja u skijaškom trčanju Norvežanka Therese Johaug (28), koja je bila pozitivna na dopinškoj kontroli obavljenoj izvan natjecanja prošloga mjeseca suspendirana je privremeno na dva mjeseca u iščekivanju rezultata dublje istrage o njenom slučaju, objavila je u srijedu Norveška antidopinška agencija.

Ova privremena suspenzija traje do 18. prosinca, a znači da norveška sportašica neće moći sudjelovati u prvoj etapi Svjetskog kupa u Ruki u Finskoj 26. i 27. studenoga.

"Razlog za ovu odluku je da je odbor zadužen za eventualna kažnjavanja unutar agencije mišljenja da se ne čini da je sportašica u potpunosti nevina", izjavio je predsjedavajući Anstein Gjengedal.

"Važno je istaknuti da u ovoj fazi nismo zauzeli konačno stajalište o suspenziji", dodao je.

Zbog ove suspenzije Johaug neće moći ni trenirati pod vodstvom Norveškog skijaškog saveza. 

Johaug je 16. rujna bila pozitivna na anabolički steroid klostebol. Navedeno je kako je zabranjenu supstancu u organizam unijela putem kreme za usnice Trofodermin koju je koristila kako bi liječila opekotine koje je zadobila tijekom visinskih priprema u Italiji u kolovozu.

Korištenje anaboličkih steroida kažnjava se suspenzijom u trajanju od četiri godine. 

Na ZOI u Vancouveru 2010. godine Johaug je bila članica zlatne norveške štafete na 4x5 kilometara. Usto ima i pojedinačno srebro s utrke na 30km slobodnim stilom s istih ZOI, te broncu iz utrke na 10km klasičnim stilom iz Sočija 2014.
