Američka revija Time za sportsku osobu godine izabrala je gimnastičarku Simone Biles, višestruku olimpijsku i svjetsku prvakinju, koja je na OI u Tokiju zbog psiholoških problema otkazala nastupe u četiri finala. 

Svojim postupcima da zdravlje stavi na prvo mjesto prokrčila je put u sportu i pomogla je razbiti stigmu o psihičkom zdravlju, piše Time.  

Nakon OI u Tokiju je u američkom Senatu svjedočila protiv bivšeg liječnika američke gimnastičke reprezentacije Larryja Nassara, koji je godinama spolno zlostavljao maloljetne djevojke. Biles je tada istaknula da ih je izdao cjelokupni sistem, od sportskih saveza do policije i FBI-a, koji nisu pravodobno reagirali već su gurnuli glavu u pijesak pred zločinima.

Američka revija Time za sportsku osobu godine izabrala je gimnastičarku Simone Biles, višestruku olimpijsku i svjetsku prvakinju, koja je na OI u Tokiju zbog psiholoških problema otkazala nastupe u četiri finala. 

Svojim postupcima da zdravlje stavi na prvo mjesto prokrčila je put u sportu i pomogla je razbiti stigmu o psihičkom zdravlju, piše Time.  

Nakon OI u Tokiju je u američkom Senatu svjedočila protiv bivšeg liječnika američke gimnastičke reprezentacije Larryja Nassara, koji je godinama spolno zlostavljao maloljetne djevojke. Biles je tada istaknula da ih je izdao cjelokupni sistem, od sportskih saveza do policije i FBI-a, koji nisu pravodobno reagirali već su gurnuli glavu u pijesak pred zločinima.

Simone Biles sportska je osoba godine u izboru američkog Timea

Američka revija Time za sportsku osobu godine izabrala je gimnastičarku Simone Biles, višestruku olimpijsku i svjetsku prvakinju, koja je na OI u Tokiju zbog psiholoških problema otkazala nastupe u četiri finala. 

Svojim postupcima da zdravlje stavi na prvo mjesto prokrčila je put u sportu i pomogla je razbiti stigmu o psihičkom zdravlju, piše Time.  

Nakon OI u Tokiju je u američkom Senatu svjedočila protiv bivšeg liječnika američke gimnastičke reprezentacije Larryja Nassara, koji je godinama spolno zlostavljao maloljetne djevojke. Biles je tada istaknula da ih je izdao cjelokupni sistem, od sportskih saveza do policije i FBI-a, koji nisu pravodobno reagirali već su gurnuli glavu u pijesak pred zločinima.
