Jedna od najboljih gimnastičarki svih vremena Amerikanka Simone Biles odustala je od nastupa u pojedinačnom višeboju na olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju.

Simone Biles povukla se iz pojedinačnog višeboja, dan nakon što je šokirala svijet povlačenjem iz ekipnog natjecanja na Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju.

"Nakon daljnje medicinske procjene, Simone Biles se povukla iz pojedinačnog višeboja. Zdušno podržavamo Simoneinu odluku i pozdravljamo njezinu hrabru odluku dajući prednost zdravlju. Njezina hrabrost još jednom pokazuje zašto je mnogima uzor," objavila je Američka gimnastička federacija.

U izjavi se navodi kako će se dodatnim pregledima ocijeniti može li Biles nastupiti u finalu po spravama koje tek slijedi.

"Biles je donijela ovu odluku kako bi se mogla usredotočiti na svoje mentalno zdravlje", objavio je USA Gymnastics.

U utorak se 24-godišnja gimnastičarka povukla u ekipnom natjecanju nakon što je izvela samo jedan preskok.

"Ne vjerujem više sebi. Pokušala sam izaći za ekipu, no moram se usredotočiti na svoje mentalno zdravlje."

Glasnogovornik Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora Mark Adams rekao je ranije kako MOO ima "veliko poštovanje i podršku" prema Biles.

Adams je rekao da je mentalno zdravlje i dalje veliki problem i da je to stvar na kojoj organizacija radi već neko vrijeme.

Jedna od najboljih gimnastičarki svih vremena Amerikanka Simone Biles odustala je od nastupa u pojedinačnom višeboju na olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju.

Simone Biles povukla se iz pojedinačnog višeboja, dan nakon što je šokirala svijet povlačenjem iz ekipnog natjecanja na Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju.

"Nakon daljnje medicinske procjene, Simone Biles se povukla iz pojedinačnog višeboja. Zdušno podržavamo Simoneinu odluku i pozdravljamo njezinu hrabru odluku dajući prednost zdravlju. Njezina hrabrost još jednom pokazuje zašto je mnogima uzor," objavila je Američka gimnastička federacija.

U izjavi se navodi kako će se dodatnim pregledima ocijeniti može li Biles nastupiti u finalu po spravama koje tek slijedi.

"Biles je donijela ovu odluku kako bi se mogla usredotočiti na svoje mentalno zdravlje", objavio je USA Gymnastics.

U utorak se 24-godišnja gimnastičarka povukla u ekipnom natjecanju nakon što je izvela samo jedan preskok.

"Ne vjerujem više sebi. Pokušala sam izaći za ekipu, no moram se usredotočiti na svoje mentalno zdravlje."

Glasnogovornik Međunarodnog olimpijskog odbora Mark Adams rekao je ranije kako MOO ima "veliko poštovanje i podršku" prema Biles.

Adams je rekao da je mentalno zdravlje i dalje veliki problem i da je to stvar na kojoj organizacija radi već neko vrijeme.

Jedna od najboljih gimnastičarki svih vremena Amerikanka Simone Biles odustala je od nastupa u pojedinačnom višeboju na olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju.

Simone Biles povukla se iz pojedinačnog višeboja, dan nakon što je šokirala svijet povlačenjem iz ekipnog natjecanja na Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju.

"Nakon daljnje medicinske procjene, Simone Biles se povukla iz pojedinačnog višeboja. Zdušno podržavamo Simoneinu odluku i pozdravljamo njezinu hrabru odluku dajući prednost zdravlju. Njezina hrabrost još jednom pokazuje zašto je mnogima uzor," objavila je Američka gimnastička federacija.

U izjavi se navodi kako će se dodatnim pregledima ocijeniti može li Biles nastupiti u finalu po spravama koje tek slijedi.
