Najbolja hrvatska streljašica Snježana Pejčić u subotu je na Svjetskom prvenstvu u južnokorejskom Changwonu osvojila brončano odličje u gađanju malokalibarskom puškom, u disciplini 50 m - trostav, čime je ispunila i normu za Olimpijske igre 2020. godine u Tokiju. 

U finalnom nadmetanju Pejčić je završila s rezultatom 446,4 kruga. Svjetskom prvakinjom postala je Ruskinja Julia Karimova ( 461,1), a srebro je osvojila Njemica Isabella Straub (459,5). 

Riječanka se bronce u Changwonu domogla na sličan, iako nešto manje dramatičan način, kao što je dan prije do naslova svjetskog doprvaka u istoj disciplini stigao njezin reprezentativni kolega Petar Gorša, koji je bio i jedan od prvih koji je čestitao Snježani na još jednom sjajno ostvarenju. Pejčić je u kvalifikacijama (po 40 metaka u svakom od tri stava) imala četvrti rezultat (1174 kruga) i tako izborila nastup u finalu. Druga hrvatska predstavnica u kvalifikacijama bila je Marta Zeljković, koja je sa 1152 kruga završila na 51. mjestu u konkurenciji 60 natjecateljica.

U finalnom meču, nakon prvih 15 hitaca u klečećem položaju, Pejčić je sa 150,7 krugova bila na šestom mjestu. S najboljim rezultatom u 15 hitaca ležeći (156,7) Snježana se probila na četvrto mjesto na kojem se držala i nakon prvih deset hitaca u stojećem položaju nakon kojih su eliminirane Austrijanka Peer i Norvežanka Stene.

Svaki sljedeći hitac bio je eliminacijski. Nakon prvog ispala je Kineskinja Wan, a nakon sljedećeg Švicarka Christen. Kad su na vatrenoj crti ostale još samo četiri natjecateljice, u sljedećem hicu u igri je bilo brončano odličje. Ruskinja Karimova i Njemica Straub su imale značajnu prednost na prve dvije pozicije, a Britanka Seonaid McIntosh, koja je bila treća, imala je za 0,7 kruga bolji ukupan rezultat od Pejčić. No, u 43. finalnom hicu McIntosh je pogodila samo 8,1 pa je Snježaninih 9,9 bilo i više nego dovoljno za brončano odličje.

U sljedećoj seriji Pejčić je pogodila 10,3, ali je drugoplasirana Straub imala prednost od 3,4 kruga tako da je bila neuhvatljiva za Riječanku. Snježani Pejčić je bronca iz Changwona drugo odličje na svjetskim prvenstvima. Prije četiri godine u španjolskoj Granadi osvojila je naslov svjetske doprvakinje u istoj disciplini.

Vlatka Pervan bila je jedina hrvatska predstavnica u gađanju pištoljem, disciplina 25 m, u Changwonu, a natjecanje je završila s pogođenih 575 krugova (288 precizna, 287 brza paljba), što joj je bilo dovoljno za osvajanje 44. mjesta u konkurenciji 81 natjecateljice. Naslov svjetske prvakinje, nakon dramatičnog finala i dvostrukog dodatnog raspucavanja, osvojila je Ukrajinka Olena Kostjevič, druga je bila Ruskinja Vitalina Bacaraškina, a treća Njemica Doreen Vennekamp.

Najbolja hrvatska streljašica Snježana Pejčić u subotu je na Svjetskom prvenstvu u južnokorejskom Changwonu osvojila brončano odličje u gađanju malokalibarskom puškom, u disciplini 50 m - trostav, čime je ispunila i normu za Olimpijske igre 2020. godine u Tokiju. 

U finalnom nadmetanju Pejčić je završila s rezultatom 446,4 kruga. Svjetskom prvakinjom postala je Ruskinja Julia Karimova ( 461,1), a srebro je osvojila Njemica Isabella Straub (459,5). 

Riječanka se bronce u Changwonu domogla na sličan, iako nešto manje dramatičan način, kao što je dan prije do naslova svjetskog doprvaka u istoj disciplini stigao njezin reprezentativni kolega Petar Gorša, koji je bio i jedan od prvih koji je čestitao Snježani na još jednom sjajno ostvarenju. Pejčić je u kvalifikacijama (po 40 metaka u svakom od tri stava) imala četvrti rezultat (1174 kruga) i tako izborila nastup u finalu. Druga hrvatska predstavnica u kvalifikacijama bila je Marta Zeljković, koja je sa 1152 kruga završila na 51. mjestu u konkurenciji 60 natjecateljica.

U finalnom meču, nakon prvih 15 hitaca u klečećem položaju, Pejčić je sa 150,7 krugova bila na šestom mjestu. S najboljim rezultatom u 15 hitaca ležeći (156,7) Snježana se probila na četvrto mjesto na kojem se držala i nakon prvih deset hitaca u stojećem položaju nakon kojih su eliminirane Austrijanka Peer i Norvežanka Stene.

Svaki sljedeći hitac bio je eliminacijski. Nakon prvog ispala je Kineskinja Wan, a nakon sljedećeg Švicarka Christen. Kad su na vatrenoj crti ostale još samo četiri natjecateljice, u sljedećem hicu u igri je bilo brončano odličje. Ruskinja Karimova i Njemica Straub su imale značajnu prednost na prve dvije pozicije, a Britanka Seonaid McIntosh, koja je bila treća, imala je za 0,7 kruga bolji ukupan rezultat od Pejčić. No, u 43. finalnom hicu McIntosh je pogodila samo 8,1 pa je Snježaninih 9,9 bilo i više nego dovoljno za brončano odličje.

U sljedećoj seriji Pejčić je pogodila 10,3, ali je drugoplasirana Straub imala prednost od 3,4 kruga tako da je bila neuhvatljiva za Riječanku. Snježani Pejčić je bronca iz Changwona drugo odličje na svjetskim prvenstvima. Prije četiri godine u španjolskoj Granadi osvojila je naslov svjetske doprvakinje u istoj disciplini.

Vlatka Pervan bila je jedina hrvatska predstavnica u gađanju pištoljem, disciplina 25 m, u Changwonu, a natjecanje je završila s pogođenih 575 krugova (288 precizna, 287 brza paljba), što joj je bilo dovoljno za osvajanje 44. mjesta u konkurenciji 81 natjecateljice. Naslov svjetske prvakinje, nakon dramatičnog finala i dvostrukog dodatnog raspucavanja, osvojila je Ukrajinka Olena Kostjevič, druga je bila Ruskinja Vitalina Bacaraškina, a treća Njemica Doreen Vennekamp.
