Jedan od najuspješnijih atletičara svih vremena, Mo Farah, je u BBC-jevom dokumentarcu šokirao cijeli svijet priznanjem da je kao dijete u Ujedinjeno Kraljevstvo doveden ilegalno i to kao žrtva trgovine ljudima i da je bio prisiljen raditi kao sluga.

Četverostruki olimpijski, šesterostruki svjetski i peterostruki europski prvak na 5 i 10 000 metara te najuspješniji dugoprugaš svih vremena, je BBC-ju otkrio kako su mu ime Mohamed Farah dali isti ljudi koji su ga doveli na Otok, te kako mu je pravo ime Hussein Abdi Kahin, prenose Sportske novosti.

Doveden je iz Džibutija kao devetogodišnji dječak, a dovela ga je žena koju nikada prije nije upoznao. Kada je stigao, bio je prisiljen brinuti se za djecu neke obitelji.

"Godinama sam to potiskivao, ali ne možete zauvijek šutjeti", rekao je legendarni sportaš koji je ranije tvrdio kako je na Otok stigao iz Somalije kao dijete izbjeglica.

Njegov otac Abdi je ubijen u neredima u Somaliji kada je on ima samo četiri godine, a Farah kaže kako je imao osam ili devet godina kada je odveden od kuće kako bi bio s obitelji u Džibutiju. Tada je odveden u Ujedinjeno Kraljevstvo. Žena koja ga je odvela u Europu mu je rekla da ide kod rodbine, a on je bio uzbuđen zbog toga.

"Nikada ranije nisam bio u avionu", otkrio je slavni sportaš kojem je ista žena rekla da je sada njegovo ime Mohamed i pokazala mu fotografiju s njegovim, sada slavnim, imenom i prezimenom.

Kada je stigao u Englesku, žena ga je odvela u London i pred njim poderala sve dokumente koji su spominjali njegovu pravu rodbinu.

"Preda mnom ih je poderala i bacila u smeće. U tom trenu sam znao da sam u nevolji. Morao sam raditi kućanske poslove i brinuti o djeci ako sam htio jesti. Često sam se zaključavao i plakao u kupaonici", otkrio je Mo kojem je nepoznata žena koja ga je dovela zaprijetila da šuti o svemu ako želi opet vidjeti svoju obitelj.

Obitelj u kojoj je bio prisiljen raditi ga isprva nije puštala u školu, a onda je s 12 godina ipak poslan na školovanje. U školi su rekli kako je riječ o izbjeglici iz Somalije, a profesori su odmah primijetili da je dječak bio neuredan i nezbrinut, a govorio je i vrlo malo engleskog, te je bio emocijonalno i kulturološki odvojen od ostatka djece.

Ljudi koji su se predstavili kao njegovi roditelji, nikada nisu dolazili na roditeljske sastanke. Njegov nastavnik tjelesnog Alan Watkinson je primijetio kako se dječak preobrazi kada dođe na atletsku stazu.

"Jedino što je razumio bio je jezik tjelesnog i sporta", rekao je Watkinson, a Farah dodao:

"Jedino što sam mogao napraviti da pobjegnem od svoje situacije je izaći van i trčati."

Farah se na kraju povjerio Watkinsonu i otkrio mu svoj pravi identitet i sve što se dogodilo, te kako je prisiljen raditi za hranu. Watkinson je nazvao socijalnu službu i uspio smjestiti Moa kod druge obitelji iz Somalije.

"I dalje mi je nedostajala moja obitelj, ali od tog trena sve je bilo bolje. Osjećao sam se kao da je puno briga skinuto s mojih ramena. Osjaćao sam se kao ja. Tada je Mo izašao na vidjelo, pravi Mo."

Mo se počeo dokazivati kao sportaš, a s 14 godina je pozvan da predstavlja engleske škole na utrci u Latviji, ali nije ima nikakve dokumente. Watkinson mu je pomogao da se prijavi za britansko državljanstvo pod imenom Mohamed Farah što je i dobio u srpnju 2000. godine.

Odvjetnik Alan Briddock je otrkio kako je Mo državljanstvo zapravo dobio ‘prevarom i izmjenjenim činjenicama‘. S pravne strane, to je temelj za oduzimanje državljanstva osobi koja ga na taj način dobije. Ipak, Briddock dodaje kako je u slučaju Farah šansa za tako nešto gotovo ravna nuli.

"Definicija trgovine ljudima je transport ljudi radi njihovog izrabljivanja. U Vašem slučaju, bili se prisiljeni da se kao dijete brinete o drugoj djeci i budete sluga, a onda ste vlastima rekli: ‘To nije moje ime‘. Sve to zajedno jako umanjuje rizik da ćete ostati bez državljanstva", pojasnio je Briddock Farahu.

Mo je rekao kako želi da njegova priča potakne raspravu o trgovini ljudima i ropstvu.

"Nisam znao da je toliko ljudi koji prolaze isto što sam i ja prolazio. To samo pokazuje koliko sam imao sreće. Ono što me spasilo, što me izdvojilo od drugih, je to što sam mogao trčati", otkrio je Farah.

BBC je pronašao i ženu koja ga je dovela u London, ali ona nije bila spremna na komentar.

Četverostruki olimpijski, šesterostruki svjetski i peterostruki europski prvak na 5 i 10 000 metara te najuspješniji dugoprugaš svih vremena, je BBC-ju otkrio kako su mu ime Mohamed Farah dali isti ljudi koji su ga doveli na Otok, te kako mu je pravo ime Hussein Abdi Kahin, prenose Sportske novosti.

Doveden je iz Džibutija kao devetogodišnji dječak, a dovela ga je žena koju nikada prije nije upoznao. Kada je stigao, bio je prisiljen brinuti se za djecu neke obitelji.

"Godinama sam to potiskivao, ali ne možete zauvijek šutjeti", rekao je legendarni sportaš koji je ranije tvrdio kako je na Otok stigao iz Somalije kao dijete izbjeglica.

Njegov otac Abdi je ubijen u neredima u Somaliji kada je on ima samo četiri godine, a Farah kaže kako je imao osam ili devet godina kada je odveden od kuće kako bi bio s obitelji u Džibutiju. Tada je odveden u Ujedinjeno Kraljevstvo. Žena koja ga je odvela u Europu mu je rekla da ide kod rodbine, a on je bio uzbuđen zbog toga.

"Nikada ranije nisam bio u avionu", otkrio je slavni sportaš kojem je ista žena rekla da je sada njegovo ime Mohamed i pokazala mu fotografiju s njegovim, sada slavnim, imenom i prezimenom.

Kada je stigao u Englesku, žena ga je odvela u London i pred njim poderala sve dokumente koji su spominjali njegovu pravu rodbinu.

"Preda mnom ih je poderala i bacila u smeće. U tom trenu sam znao da sam u nevolji. Morao sam raditi kućanske poslove i brinuti o djeci ako sam htio jesti. Često sam se zaključavao i plakao u kupaonici", otkrio je Mo kojem je nepoznata žena koja ga je dovela zaprijetila da šuti o svemu ako želi opet vidjeti svoju obitelj.

Obitelj u kojoj je bio prisiljen raditi ga isprva nije puštala u školu, a onda je s 12 godina ipak poslan na školovanje. U školi su rekli kako je riječ o izbjeglici iz Somalije, a profesori su odmah primijetili da je dječak bio neuredan i nezbrinut, a govorio je i vrlo malo engleskog, te je bio emocijonalno i kulturološki odvojen od ostatka djece.

Ljudi koji su se predstavili kao njegovi roditelji, nikada nisu dolazili na roditeljske sastanke. Njegov nastavnik tjelesnog Alan Watkinson je primijetio kako se dječak preobrazi kada dođe na atletsku stazu.

"Jedino što je razumio bio je jezik tjelesnog i sporta", rekao je Watkinson, a Farah dodao:

"Jedino što sam mogao napraviti da pobjegnem od svoje situacije je izaći van i trčati."

Farah se na kraju povjerio Watkinsonu i otkrio mu svoj pravi identitet i sve što se dogodilo, te kako je prisiljen raditi za hranu. Watkinson je nazvao socijalnu službu i uspio smjestiti Moa kod druge obitelji iz Somalije.

"I dalje mi je nedostajala moja obitelj, ali od tog trena sve je bilo bolje. Osjećao sam se kao da je puno briga skinuto s mojih ramena. Osjaćao sam se kao ja. Tada je Mo izašao na vidjelo, pravi Mo."

Mo se počeo dokazivati kao sportaš, a s 14 godina je pozvan da predstavlja engleske škole na utrci u Latviji, ali nije ima nikakve dokumente. Watkinson mu je pomogao da se prijavi za britansko državljanstvo pod imenom Mohamed Farah što je i dobio u srpnju 2000. godine.

Odvjetnik Alan Briddock je otrkio kako je Mo državljanstvo zapravo dobio ‘prevarom i izmjenjenim činjenicama‘. S pravne strane, to je temelj za oduzimanje državljanstva osobi koja ga na taj način dobije. Ipak, Briddock dodaje kako je u slučaju Farah šansa za tako nešto gotovo ravna nuli.

"Definicija trgovine ljudima je transport ljudi radi njihovog izrabljivanja. U Vašem slučaju, bili se prisiljeni da se kao dijete brinete o drugoj djeci i budete sluga, a onda ste vlastima rekli: ‘To nije moje ime‘. Sve to zajedno jako umanjuje rizik da ćete ostati bez državljanstva", pojasnio je Briddock Farahu.

Mo je rekao kako želi da njegova priča potakne raspravu o trgovini ljudima i ropstvu.

"Nisam znao da je toliko ljudi koji prolaze isto što sam i ja prolazio. To samo pokazuje koliko sam imao sreće. Ono što me spasilo, što me izdvojilo od drugih, je to što sam mogao trčati", otkrio je Farah.

BBC je pronašao i ženu koja ga je dovela u London, ali ona nije bila spremna na komentar.

Jedan od najuspješnijih atletičara svih vremena, Mo Farah, je u BBC-jevom dokumentarcu šokirao cijeli svijet priznanjem da je kao dijete u Ujedinjeno Kraljevstvo doveden ilegalno i to kao žrtva trgovine ljudima i da je bio prisiljen raditi kao sluga.
